There is no recourse with this company…

THE RESPONSE FROM THIS ORGANISATION: PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION. THEY HAD ALL THE PICTURES. THE BOAT WAS DISGUSTING. THEY THEMSELVES RE-WROTE THE REVIEW AGAINST THE BOAT WE HIRED!! REALLY!! THERE IS SOMETHING VERY WRONG HERE. AS I WROTE, NO RECOURSE AT ALL!!
There is no recourse with this company whatsoever if the boat hired is not as advertised (and in our case almost exactly the opposite of that which was advertised). The boat owner avoided our going below prior to departure then himself did not join us. This is blatant violation to C&B's T&C's and we were due recourse however efforts for this was totally ignored, I assume so as not to have the boat we hired removed from their offerings. Really really bad for myself and our young family and to compound the situation, very expensive (almost $10,000).

Thank you for your message, and we’re truly sorry to read about your disappointment. We fully understand how frustrating it must be to feel that the experience did not meet the expectations set by the listing, especially during a family trip and at such a cost.

We want to reassure you that your case was taken seriously and was forwarded to the account manager in charge of the boat in order to follow up directly with the owner. After a full review, we found no major incidents or reported issues that would have significantly disrupted the rental itself. According to our records, the charter went ahead as planned and was completed without any operational problems being reported during the booking.

That said, we do acknowledge your concerns regarding the transparency of the check-in process and the condition of the boat in relation to the listing. Owners are expected to provide full and honest information, and we take any deviations from that standard very seriously. We regret if you felt that this wasn’t the case and understand how that may have impacted your overall experience.

Please know that we do not protect listings at the expense of renter satisfaction, when a boat is reported for not matching its description, we investigate and, if necessary, take action, which may include suspension or removal from the platform.

We remain available if you would like to provide additional documentation or clarify certain points so we can follow up further.

Appalling

Appalling. There is so much I could write. The previous reviewers description of a "rogue company" is ENTIRELY correct. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
