During my stay on October 14, 2025, at Hyatt Place Roanoke Airport, 5040 Valley view Blvd North, Roanoke, VA 24012, I discovered a bug on the window shade in my hotel room shortly after checking in. I immediately brought this to the attention of hotel staff. Unfortunately, the response I received was dismissive and lacked concern or accountability. Your answer "We are sold out for tonight."
I was not offered any assistance, compensation, or alternative accommodation by your staff. Instead, I sat in the lobby for over an hour while my employer worked to find another hotel and arrange transportation. During this time, not one employee checked in with me or attempted to make the situation right.
This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional, particularly given that airline crew members rely on safe, clean, and responsive accommodations after long workdays.
I strongly urge your management team to:
Provide regular extermination proof for crew-designated rooms.
Ensure staff are trained to handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Improve communication with employers when hotel-related issues affect crew assignments.
I’ve attached photos of the insect found in my room for your records.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope you’ll take steps to ensure future guests do not encounter a similar experience.

Stayed for 4 nights and they never cleaned the rooms the last 2 nights. When I went to the front desk the person was very nasty and i was just asking for towels. Will never stay at Harrah's again or recommend anyone to stay there

Extremely Disappointing Stay – No Sleep and No Accountability
I stayed here on October 5–6 (Room 716, Reservation #1012351654) and had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. There was blaring music and bass from the nightclub next door that went late into the night, making it impossible to sleep. I called the front desk multiple times, but nothing was done.
When I contacted management afterward, I received a generic apology saying the noise was “from an outside business” and that they couldn’t offer any compensation. That’s unacceptable. Guests choose a hotel expecting to sleep, not to be kept awake for hours because of noise the hotel is fully aware of but refuses to address.
If this property knows about ongoing extreme noise from the neighboring bar, they should warn guests before booking or take measures to soundproof rooms and make it right afterward. Their lack of responsibility shows poor management and zero regard for guest comfort.
I would not stay here again, nor recommend it to anyone seeking rest, reliability, or respect for customers.

The Microtel on Rockville Rd, is a wonderful full service establishment that is a hidden gem. We’ve ended up staying there three times in the last two months. I don’t think we will ever fly out of Indy without staying there.

My wife and I finished a 19-day trip with 4 nights at the Clermont, Char Crossing. Our room was great, the food was excellent, and the location was awesome. We checked out at 10AM and left our bags so we could see more of London before our driver was scheduled to pick us up at 3PM. At about 1pm we found the local road was shut down, and a political rally had started. We approached the folks at the front desk and one of their staff, Charlie Williams, helped us locate our driver ( approx. 1/2 mile from hotel), and actually took my wife's large suitcase and I pushed mine, through the political rally, and the chaos that was present, and got us to our drivers' car. The dedication and customer service that Charie Williams showed was five star and will never be forgotten. Thank you, Charlie Williams! Fran and Christine
