Recent stay at Hyatt Place

We have stayed at the Hyatt Place several times now. Each time has been very enjoyable. Customer service is great! Rooms are a very comfortable size for one night or extended stays. The breakfast bar is replenished often and food is good. We will continue to stay here in the future.

I never even contacted this company for…

I never even contacted this company for a reservation. I was on the website for the hotel. I called and spoke to the phone number listed for the hotel. I paid for up front the two nights. We had an emergency and did not stay both nights and even checked out prior to check out time. I told the front desk the emergency when we were leaving. We didn’t even get to go to our event that we drove 5 hours each way to attend. I have an elderly mother that fell and had to leave. There was no understanding or caring from either the Holiday Inn in Clute-Lake Jackson or Reservations.com. The hotel tried to tell me I reserved thru Expedia. I only called the hotel. Never anyone else. Long story short, they will not refund our one night I was requesting. Even though we were clearly out much earlier than check out. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY!!!!! RESERVATIONS.COM HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and will never receive a dime from us. I will continue to tell everyone my story. They could have clearly contacted the manager, Krue Bhakta, and verified we had to leave unexpectedly prior to check out.
