DO NOT SEND THESE CROOKS YOUR PHONE.
Sent mine off to them in immaculate condition. Then they came back saying the screen was broken, battery was crap and the microphone wasn’t working! Bull!! Asked for my phone back and was completely ignored! I STILL haven’t had it back , they won’t answer emails and won’t answer the phone. Thieves
Only took 2 days start to finish. They emailed me at each stage. Really smooth process.
Great experience all around! i would be recommended!!!
Poor experience. will not be using this company again . Sent my iphone 14 plus which was in immaculate condition . Then received an email claiming to have faults with phone i.e light scratches around phone, over 500 battery charges , ambient light sensor fault . This was all news to me . Initial offer was greatly reduced . They did come back with 2 further offers which was way below the initial agreed price . Will take my business elsewhere in the future .

Sent off an iPhone 13 with an estimated price of £185.
I sent the phone myself via DPD as wanted it insured, item arrived safe and within a few hours I received an email saying there were some imperfections such as:
Marked screen
500+ cycle battery count
Issues with speaker
What followed was an offer of £80, to which i selected decline. I was then sent another email stating a further offer will be sent or steps on how to return.
A few hours later and another offer, this time £100. Again, I refused and had the same email as previous. After a few hours I received a call from them directly to discuss my price and steps on how to proceed.
I stated I would not accept their offer of £100 and that unless they can improve it by a good margin then to return it.
After them trying to explain all the issues and saying the original price given is just a "guide" they went away and spoke to their warehouse.
After 5 minutes on hold they came back to say they had a "spare" battery from another phone to put in this one and that the original marks on screen were not as bad as thought but still needed attention so on that basis they can now offer £140.
I was selling this phone on behalf of someone else and they were happy with the £140 so it was accepted and the funds hit our bank account the same day.
Overall, I wouldn't say I was happy or not happy with the service but I would point out that offering £80 and then a few hours later £140 doesn't sit right with me and for that reason I wouldn't use again.
I would proceed with caution then using this company, although it seems that most companies in this industry use the same tactics and prey on the weak.
Not happy with the way the customer service representative handled our conversation after I rejected their revised offer. Wouldn’t listen to me and was totally conceited in her approach.
Update since posting this a representative reached out and offered my £10 good will for the service. I didn’t change my trustpilot and they didn’t give me the £10. Not only illegal but shows they cover up bad service. Have messages as proof- do not use!
Sold my phone to these dodgy people as damaged. Was offered upto £260. Sent phone off in timely manner. Received a call from a lady today stating that the phone was damaged beyond repair and they can’t offer anything for it. So the option was to recycle with them and they keep it or I pay the £10 return charge. I opted to pay the charge. But then she offered to buy the camera parts from for £55, I said na it’s okay I’ll just pay the charge and fix the screen myself, the screen has a crack on it with one dead pixel ! A replacement will fix all that. I told her how much I was quoted to repair the screen, she then offered me £5 above that price.
If I hadn’t of stood my ground, I would have ended up with absolutely nothing for it. Steer clear and try to sell yourself on places like eBay or gumtree. Lesson learnt for me !!
I chose this company based purely on two things; 1 the reviews on Trustpilot and 2 the price offered for my phone. Unfortunately the price was knocked down, however Rob called me to talk through the reasons why and we managed to come to an agreement on price. Even though it was below what I expected, I would use this company again.
Avoid at all costs. Offered to send me half of what they originally quoted for my phone. Total scam.
I had bought my iphone 14 plus from giffgaff brand new and was selling to phone box. Apparently it was a german spec phone. They generally don't take it but they can give me a lower price ofcourse. Got 1/3rd lower price than the quote for the excellent phone.
Although I was explained very well why the price is reduced.
Fairly responsive, little issue with offer they contacted me twice and resolved adequately
Decent
I sent a phone in, I received a phone call and was back and forth with a lady - negotiating the price. I came to the conclusion of wanting my phone back instead because the price wasn't good at all, and I was told that this would be arranged.
A few hours later, I get a message from my banks saying "£x" had been deposited! I am incredibly frustrated and confused. This is insane. DO NOT SEND YOUR PHONE HERE. I am waiting for an email back or a call back to get this resolved.
WATCH OUT, DO NOT SELL YOUR PHONE HERE. SCAMMERS.
I wouldn’t recommend for trade in, hugely undervalued even with the issues raised with the phone. Had 2 other valuations but went with this company due to the high estimate ( definitely reeled me in!). Then there was a back and forth of offer and counter offer until we landed back at a reasonable valuation. I assumed I would be offered a fair price from the get go and not have to barter for 4 days. Staff were friendly but it left a bad taste. Wouldn’t recommend.
Had a few initial teething issues, plus an oversight on my behalf, but these were swiftly rectified! Rob went above and beyond, not only to ensure I received the best price for my phone but to guarantee same day payment as well! He is an absolute diamond and an asset to the company

I encountered an issue with the devaluation of my iPhone on the day it was delivered to Phonebox.Initially, tried to call the customer service number however no one picked up, but thankfully, the manager called me back. The manager was extremely polite, respectful, and took the time to explain the entire process clearly. Not only did they address my concerns, but they also resolved the issue promptly.
I’m very pleased with how professional and efficient the customer service was to resolve the issue. Happy with the resolution and will use phonebox again in future

Fantastic service only took a few days I even forgot to put my order details in but everything was sorted still, would highly recommend.
At first was offered £530 later on an issue was detected and went down to £400 however Kieran helped me get more than £400 and did the best he could do . Amazing customer service from Kieran and good company overall.
Recorded the condition of my as per the guidelines and was offered £200. Sent phone in then they pick fault with everything and changed offer to £25 a joke. I rejected this and they came back with £50 again rejected offer. They then took ages and phoned trying to make another offer I said I was not interested and they could offer me the original price and I would not sell my device now. Then took another couple of days to arrange return of my phone which cost me £10, which I did know about. On getting my phone back sold the phone to Mazuma for £170 in 3 days and they could not fault the device. AVOID THIS COMPANY
Sent my iPhone 14 and received an email detailing some issues with my phone. I spoke to Nicola head of customer experience who fully explained reasons for the issues raised and also gave some very helpful tips for the future. Much appreciated time and service provided thank you again
After initial shock at the reduced value £301 to £100 I had an excellent conversation with Nicola who took time to explain the faults on the phone which we totally unaware of and she increased the offer significantly and we went ahead with iPhone sale
