I have been a loyal customer to Krystal for 15 years, and never missed a payment (I was paying annual fees until this year when by fortunate coincidence I switched to monthly). Originally, I was permitted to host 2 domains, for 2 very small websites of just a few MBs each and a few mostly inactive e-mail inboxes. After I purchased a new domain through Krystal, I tried to remove one of my sites on cPanel and build a new site for the new domain. I found following a change in policy, I was no longer permitted to host a second website and was given no allowance for having been a customer for so long, with polite but not very honest customer service operators who initially didn't understand the situation and tried to obfuscate the issue somewhat as a technical issue instead of a company policy. When I explained that I had had 2 sites for 14 years, they were forced to concede that it wasn't a technical "impossibility" so much as a matter of money, and that I wasn't paying enough for that. I looked into it and found that £15pcm was actually quite expensive for two small sites and three e-mail addresses, so migrated to Purple Prince who offer a vastly superior service, and don't even cost quite so much; not only do they answer the phone immediately with human being (instead of AI-chats and ticketing system, as with Krystal) but they take care of everything, manually migrating the hosting plan themselves to make it super easy for the customer. Seems that Krystal just aren't that competitive in today's market, and I presume the customer service are powerless to make any kind of judgement calls about what is appropriate regarding pricing for individual customers (or simply are not aware of what competitors are charging for the same). Shame. Dissapointing end to a 15 year relationship.

The company has provided us with an outstanding service for many years. When one needs help from them, they are always there extremely quickly, no matter being the weekend or at night. We have no hesitation in recommending them most highly.

The most trustworthy reliable hosting company I have ever used. (and I've had 7 before). Krystal are everything you would want in a hosting company. The prices are honest, upfront and fair. There are no hidden fees or unexpected price leaps. I have just migrated two Wordpress sites using their migration service and their support staff was excellent. Their ongoing helpful support team made moving websites a stress-free experience. It’s rare to find a company that is genuinely interested in providing a high level of service, that is sincere in caring about people- and the planet. A percentage of their profits goes directly towards reforestation- planting trees to support the environment. I highly recommend them if you are migrating a site or changing hosting providers.

Solved my problem quickly and gave good supplementary advice

If you're looking for the best customer service in the UK, I highly recommend Krystal. They are always there to give advice and help out quickly, just when you need it! Technically they're always ahead of the curve as well.

Without Any Doubt Krystal Hosting are our opinion the very best in the business. Extremely helpful, and fully professional, I just wish I'd have used them for our two online shop much much sooner!

Really helpful company with second-to-none customer service with real people! Their prices are reasonable. Everything is made simple for the novice.

I'd had difficulties migrating my email hosting that I'd been putting it off for far too long. I spoke with Krystal's live chat customer support and Toni was kind and patient walking me through every step of the process, even answering my silly questions. Toni made the whole process less daunting and easy to understand and we got the whole process completed in just over an hour. Great work Toni

I was recommended to use Krystal during a web design bootcamp I took part in, for a combination of reliability, transparency and good support. Since then I've created my own websites with them, about which I had a lot of questions; I've also recommended them to, and then helped three different organisations to migrate four small business/charity websites, including multiple email accounts in one case. In every case the support from Krystal staff has been absolutely stellar - effective, quick, and written in clear English by actual humans (I see the same team members popping up again and again, which feels really nice, but it's also efficient because any available team member is able to follow up on an issue so there's no delay). I've asked some stupid questions (when I reflect on them after) but not one person has made me feel stupid! It really feels like the company ethos is to offer good service (and I think it's pretty good value too) which is why I look forward to continuing to use them and would absolutely recommend them to anyone else.
