Save yourself from future heartache and hassle - use Trustpilot first

It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find companies that provide a high level of quality customer service and unfortunately so many of the biggest household names are the biggest let-downs when you run into problems and really need support. Trustpilot is an essential guide in the purchasing process that reflects genuine customer experience. Checking on a company or service on Trustpilot is an essential step before committing that could save you a ton of hassle farther down the road. Recently I’ve checked out web hosting companies, broadband services and mobile phone providers and been saved from making decisions I might regret later by getting into contracts with companies that promise the earth then don’t deliver in terms of quality customer service. Find out what people really experience and check Trustpilot before you commit. Highly recommended.

Review of Krystal Hosting

Trustworthy reliable hosting…

The most trustworthy reliable hosting company I have ever used. (and I've had 7 before). Krystal are everything you would want in a hosting company. The prices are honest, upfront and fair. There are no hidden fees or unexpected price leaps. I have just migrated two Wordpress sites using their migration service and their support staff was excellent. Their ongoing helpful support team made moving websites a stress-free experience. It’s rare to find a company that is genuinely interested in providing a high level of service, that is sincere in caring about people- and the planet. A percentage of their profits goes directly towards reforestation- planting trees to support the environment. I highly recommend them if you are migrating a site or changing hosting providers.

Have used Namesilo for many years

Have used Namesilo for many years. Great service - honest upfront pricing - no hidden fees - no price jacking. Reliable service. Only today had problem logging in because my device wasn't recognised. I contacted chat support and was up and running again in under 2 minutes. Excellent service - highly recommended.

Review of Octopus Energy

My love/hate relationship with Octopus...

I love Octopus. I love how easy it is to submit meter readings. I love their low prices and I love the fact that all my energy usage comes from renewables. When I first joined Octopus I really got a sense that I was joining a different kind of energy company. One that really cared - about their customers and the environment. I believed in them, however they let me down. I was extremely disappointed and disillusioned with Octopus after the death of my Mother. She had overpaid by over £1000 and we received an email from Octopus confirming it would be repaid into her estate. However, only £500 was ever repaid. Despite letters and emails, which Octopus ignored, the outstanding £500 was never recovered. I'm told it's common practice among energy companies to ignore complaints until the Ombudsman steps in. However due to Mum's death and other personal circumstances I just had no 'energy' to pursue a fight with them. For the same reason I haven't switched companies because I haven't been able to research a company that could also offer 100% renewable energy at a reasonable rate (and a small part of me is still wanting Octopus to be as good as they appeared to be). However, I can't help feeling very sad and disappointed in Octopus. I would have wanted them to be better than this. The honeymoon is over.
