Eclipse are the ones that educated me and since putting me on the right track, they’ve done wonders for my career in modelling.

back in 2023 I joined this agency…

back in 2023 I joined this agency called Your Model Management (they changed their name to Eclipse Model Management now). at first they seemed so nice and professional. they gave me a free photoshoot and told me I got accepted into their agency. I was so excited because it sounded like a big opportunity. later they said I had to pay £500 for the main board package to be part of their company, and I did. then they emailed me saying a brand like NEXT was looking for a model but I had to pay another £400 for extra photos. I paid again because I really believed them.

after that, nothing happened. no jobs, no bookings, no real updates. when I asked for a refund, they kept making excuses like “the director is sick” or “we’ll process it soon.” a year passed and I still got nothing back.

it’s honestly so sad because I trusted them and really thought it was real. please be careful a real model agencies don’t make you pay upfront or promise fake jobs.

Was waiting with another girl who also wanted to sign with them as a model. Spoke to her after her interview and asked her how it went - she told me they were a scam, because she couldn’t invest in her modelling career. So she couldn’t afford it, but guess what, it’s her fault, not theirs. I had a great experience and am very happy with the photos and video I’ve received from them - top notch quality.

Hi everyone

Hi everyone
Recently received an email from this company to pay them the remaining amount of the money or they take legal action against me. Is there anyone else who has the same problem? Have you paid anything? Have they taken any action? I spoke with Citizens Advice and my current job regal advice, they said do not pay anything. Please tell me your how it ended up with you.

Minus 1 Star Rating. Do Not Engage With This Comp

Review websites really need to have a minus 1 rating. Please anyone that reads this DO NOT believe this company. No modelling agency should take money. Now out of pocket by £1500. BIG red flag - Their reception has a sign saying do not speak to others who are waiting in the reception area. Highly unprofessional. I really hope they dont make matters worse and just cut and paste their usual reply to me like theyve done with previous reviews.

Dear customer,

Thank you for your recent post and for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied and would like to take the opportunity to clarify a few important points regarding the services you received.

Package Selection
Based on our records, you selected our top-tier package, which included:

A minimum of 50 professionally retouched photographs

A personalised video showreel used for client submissions

Eligibility for catwalk training

These services are specifically designed to provide aspiring models with the tools needed to present themselves professionally to potential clients and agencies.

Value of Services Provided
The tools you received — including high-quality imagery, video content, and training — are essential in the modelling industry. Comparable services can often exceed £4,000 at traditional studios, many of which do not include video reels or training.

Work Guarantee
Please note that no legitimate agency or training provider is permitted to guarantee work. This is in accordance with government regulations and industry standards. While we support and promote our talent, final hiring decisions rest solely with external clients.

Regarding Payment
We want to clarify that Eclipse Management did not directly charge you to "become a model." Any payments made would have been processed through a third-party company that provides the production and training services. We encourage you to review your contracts and bank statements to confirm the recipient of your payment — our company name will not appear there.

Industry Expectations
While it's true that agencies should not charge for representation, it is common (and often necessary) for aspiring models to invest in their portfolios, showreels, and training. Just as professionals in other fields pay for education or certification, models must also prepare themselves to compete in a very selective industry.

Next Steps
We regret that your expectations were not fully met. As a gesture of goodwill, we would be happy to offer you an additional photo shoot or updated video reel at no extra cost. This is something within our control, and we hope it helps to further support your career development.

Please feel free to reach out directly if you would like to arrange this or discuss anything further.

Kind regards,
Eclipse Management

Please Beware of sc@m from this so-called company

I attended a modeling session with this company and had a very negative experience. I was pressured into taking a higher job board, signing paperwork without being given enough time to properly review it, while being told misleading information about potential work with well-known brands. I was then asked to pay a £50 deposit, and before taking the payment, a staff member even asked if another £50 could be added, which felt like an attempt to push me into paying more.
There was also a sign in the waiting area instructing people not to speak to each other, which raised concerns, and several others at the session voiced similar complaints. To this day, my £50 deposit has not been returned.
Afterwards, I was sent a threatening email claiming I was in breach of contract and demanding a further £950 to be paid after 11 months, with warnings of legal action if I refused.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others not to work with this so-called sc@m company and be extremely cautious when dealing with this company.

Dear Reviewer,

Thank you for your feedback. We've noted that you've referred to Eclipse Model Management as a “scam.” Naturally, we take serious issue with that label and feel it's only fair that we provide clarity, not only for your sake but for the benefit of anyone considering working with us.

We would like to address a few common misconceptions that may lead to such accusations:

1. We Are Government Regulated

Eclipse Model Management is a Government-regulated agency and works under the guidelines of the Department for Trade and Industry (DTI). If we were not operating lawfully, we would not be permitted to trade. Our compliance and transparency are part of what set us apart.

2. Work Is Not Guaranteed by Any Agency

We understand that some may feel disappointed if work doesn’t come quickly or consistently. However, no agency — not even the biggest in the world — can guarantee work, as bookings are made solely at the discretion of clients. Our job is to put our models in the best possible position to succeed — the rest is up to market demand and performance.

3. We Co-Invest in Our Models’ Success

Yes, there are upfront costs — and this is standard industry practice. In fact, we often invest up to £3,000 per model toward:

Professional, airbrushed photography

High-quality video showreels

Model & catwalk training

Ongoing advice and agency support

These assets are essential for a model’s success and are tools clients look for when casting. We believe it’s unfair to set someone up for a professional career without giving them the tools to succeed.

4. We Honour Our Agreements — and Expect the Same

In some cases, individuals receive their photos, showreels, and training — then break their payment agreement or cease contact. When this happens, and we reach out, we're accused of being a “scam.” We understand financial difficulties can arise, and we are always happy to discuss flexible solutions. But labelling a business a scam because of a contract dispute is both unfair and misleading.

5. We Offer Unique Guarantees

Unlike many in the industry, we guarantee that our models will:

Receive the full creative package

Be offered opportunities, including participation in our Fashion Show

Have their money returned if our terms aren’t honoured on our end

Few agencies are this transparent or accommodating.

In Conclusion

We know modelling can be a competitive and emotional industry. We’re not perfect — no agency is — but we operate with integrity, professionalism, and transparency. We invest in those who invest in themselves, and we make no promises we can’t keep.

We respect that some people may feel disappointed, but we urge everyone to do their research, read our agreements, and make informed decisions.

If you’re still unsure, that’s okay — we’re not for everyone. But if you’re serious about modelling and ready to work hard with a real-world understanding of the industry, we’ll be glad to meet you and help you take your first steps.

Scammers

I attended Eclipse Model Management in July 2024 and was pressured into signing a £1,000 “Elite Board” package after paying £100 upfront. Soon after, they threatened me with breach of contract and legal action unless I paid the remaining £900.

They instructed me to pay the balance into a different company, PK Studios Ltd, which is a dormant company at the same Croydon address. My bank (Revolut) blocked the payment as suspicious.

I have since reported them to Action Fraud and the Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate. After challenging them in writing, they backed off and said they wouldn’t contact me again.

Please be cautious — in my experience, they relied on pressure and legal threats rather than genuine modelling work.

Extremely Disappointing Experience

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Unprofessional and Unfair

II want to share my very disappointing experience with Eclipse Model Management.

From the start last year in July 2024, I felt pressured into joining the Supreme Board, even though I wanted to downgrade to the £100 board. Eventually, I gave in because they told me I could pay in instalments, with payment due on 10th October 2024.

When I realised I could not afford it, I emailed them on 11th September 2024 to explain my situation and then followed up with a phone call. The lady I spoke to reassured me it would be fine, but I never received any written confirmation.

I emailed again on 10th October 2024, but got no reply. Despite this, on 27th June 2025 I received a welcome email from Alex (Model Booker). I had already contacted him on 14th June and forwarded him all my previous emails. He even told me to follow up with Eclipse about downgrading, which I did on 27th June — but once again, no one ever responded.

Throughout this whole time, none of my emails were answered, and no one picked up the phone when I called (including yesterday and today).

Then, to my shock, I received a threatening email on 27th August 2025 accusing me of breaching my contract and warning me of legal action unless I pay in full. This is despite the fact that I have:
• Sent multiple emails going back to September 2024
• Tried to resolve the matter fairly and in good faith
• Never received a single job or opportunity from Eclipse

This experience has left me feeling scammed, pressured, and completely unsupported. I would strongly caution anyone considering working with this agency to think very carefully before signing anything.
