I never knew that being trained to be a model was important. None of my friends encouraging me to be a model ever told me that apart from the fact I look good. However, Eclipse model management asked... See more

ITS A SCAM!!!!
DONT FALL FOR IT!
Not very professional,
Will not give me my photos unless I write a positive review about them it’s just honest so shocking… didn’t take long on the photo shoot…
I just want my pictures cause I’d like to see but they are not sending unless I write a good review about them, with these it’s a situation where it’s you do something for me I do something for you… which modelling Dont work like that! At all!
At no cost should I have to do something to get photos of myself… especially when in the email they do say I’d get the photos if I didn’t continue or not “accepted”
It’s a complete SCAM!!
They would want u to pay £100 and everything then they say u would get it back but it’s all a SCAM!!

Amends after EMM's response:
"1. Please note that we are a government-regulated organisation, which means that all our contracts and operations are overseen and approved by the relevant authorities."
- Eclipse Model Management is government regulated, correct. However, the company that you hide from clients and send deposits to without informing clients "P K STUDIOS" or "PORTFOLIO KINGS" is not. This is deceptive and means business and trading standards are unable to support clients who contact them, as your business set up is therefore only semi-regulated.
"2. This also includes oversight of where funds are allocated."
- as above, this is false, and I have tried so many times to share this with you via email but you ignore me. PORTFOLIO KINGS / P K STUDIOS (funds allocation company) is not regulated, as confirmed by Business and Trading Standards.
"3. Ultimately, the allocation of funds does not impact you, as long as you adhere to our simple guidelines. Regardless of how the funds are utilised, you will receive your deposit back upon compliance with these rules."
- Not true - this allocation does impact me, as I signed a contract because I was told my deposit was stored in a government regulated RSD account. But this is not the case. EMM have a responsibility to be transparent about where client RSDs are stored.
4. As part of our services, we provided you with a free portfolio shoot. We trust that you received the photos; however, if this is not the case, we are more than happy to resend them to you"
- I received a free photoshoot and got the images 2 months later, after receiving another models images. this free services has no impact on the return of RSD.
"5. We regret that you have not secured as much work as you had hoped. From the outset, we have been transparent in stating that, much like actors, no model with any agency is guaranteed work. This is because we do not control the hiring decisions of clients. To mitigate this, we offer a refund of your deposit provided you comply with the straightforward rules outlined in your agreement. Should you have failed to meet the requirements, you are welcome to complete another year, adhere to the rules, and secure your deposit refund."
- correct, you did not promise work, but you did promise a refund if contract rules were met. you have broken this promise by failing to return the RSD.
"we encourage you to contact us and speak directly with Dina, a supervisor. She will work with you to resolve the matter."
- I have reached out to you many times and been told that you are not willing to respond to me.

DO NOT WORK WITH THEM
Eclipse Model Management (Models Advice Bureau Ltd) invited me to interview with them in September 2023. Jacob conducted the interview. I joined Eclipse and paid "a fully refundable deposit" of £700.
I was told it was being sent to a Government Regulated RSD account. This meant that Eclipse “could not touch the money” and guaranteed security for me getting my money back. I have since learned that the money was not sent to an Eclipse Bank Account, but instead to Kings Portfolio, which is a non-government regulated company. This has meant that the BISS (whom Eclipse claim to be regulated by) cannot get involved and cannot support in returning the funds. Eclipse have this set up intentionally, and coerce people into sending money into what they are told is a safe, regulated account, when this is all false. Eclipse Model Management is regulated by the BISS, but Kings Portfolio is not. Over my 12 months, I got no work from Eclipse, except for one unpaid portfolio shoot in January. They have failed to refund me even though I did everything they asked, and they have so far given me no reason as to why they will not refund me. They are ghosting me, and whenever they have been in contact, they are blunt and aggressive. They deceived me by getting me to send money to an unregulated account, as I was told it was an account part of Models Advice Bureau, when it wasn’t. They have also said “why would we send you your money back when you left us a bad review” (on trustpilot) and said “if we can prove Eclipse is government regulated, would it be fair to retain the £700 you sent”.
I have called them, emailed many times, but they are not interested in refunding me. I have reported them to The ICO, Action Fraud, Met Police, Trading Standards and the Financial Ombudsman.
Please please do not work with this company they will never get you jobs and never send money back.

Biggest scam in the market
Do not give a penny of money to this scam company!!!!!!!
i payed £1000 to this company when I was 16, before they rebranded to Eclipse. They were known as Your Model Management. I applied online and they called me and asked for an interview. My dad drove me down to Croydon (the exact same adress as Eclipse) which was a 3 and a half hour drive for us. They made us wait in the waiting room which was to the left as you walked in and they then called me in to the photography room to take some ‘Polaroid photos’ literally just photos of me from the front back and sides. I then sat and waited for 20 minutes. I then get called into the interview room for a talk, they ask me who I look up to in the industry etc. it all seemed EXTREMELY legit. They then showed us all the boards. We chose the ‘elite board’ with the £1000 deposit. They assured us as long as the contract was followed it would be 100% refunded. They said it is going into a secure deposit and they made sure to repeatedly tell us that any agency that takes your money is not legit, however a refundable deposit is to secure the contract. They then took me to the small runway room where they did ‘catwalk trial’ and made me walk up and down the catwalk. They took me back to the interview room and said that they had already accepted someone today so they wouldn’t normally accept anyone else but they saw so much potential in me that they wanted to accept me. 16 year old me was in heaps of joy as modelling is something I’ve always wanted to do and I was overjoyed that these people saw potential in me. They promised me I would be able to walk in London Fashion week, and that they wanted to sign me a shoot with Marks and Spencer’s. We left with the contract, and agreed to send the money whilst we were in the car once we’d looked over the contract a little more. Immediately after we left ‘Meni’ who was my ‘personal agent’ called and texted me to ask if we had transferred the money and he was in constant contact until we did.
Being a college student the agency was fully aware I was unable to make the trip to Croydon during term times as they were not open on weekends. They kept sending me dates of catwalk trainings that I could not attend due to the fact I was in college (I also went to a boarding school for college 2 hours from home so was unable to drive myself there, or have my dad drive me unless I was in my hometown during some weekends or holidays) they said I was unable to attend holiday time catwalk trainings as they were for the younger models. I managed to get a day off college to go down for a ‘portfolio shoot’ which I was really excited for. They insisted to me that the photos would be sent off to Milan to be retouched by professionals, when I got the photos back I was not impressed, they looked like they had been smoothed on FaceTune. They told me in order to have access to the photos I needed to write them a good review on Trustpilot which I did.
When it came to the end of my year, I was told I had not fulfilled the contract as I had not attended catwalk training and I had not applied for enough jobs throughout the year on the jobs board ( my mistake I thought it was 3 per year not 3 per month because I could have sworn they said 3 a year in the interview however in the contract it said 3 per month) I argued that I had been with them a whole year, I had had minimal contact off them other than at the beginning when my personal agent was changed 3 times, they had not made many effort to get me any jobs or create me a portfolio, they said I could not get my deposit back however they would keep me on for another year and if I fulfilled the contract that year then I would get my money back. I agreed, then received no contact from them after this, about 7 months later, their website and jobs board went down and I could no longer apply for my 3 jobs a month. I sent email after email, and heard nothing back. My year ended last February and I have had no response about recieving my money back. I then shortly found out they had rebranded to eclipse and they had claimed bankruptcy on My model management.
I have tried everything including emailing eclipse themselves saying I know who they are and what they are doing. We have tried going through the bank, it is impossible.
Absolutely gutting because this experience has completely put me off wanting to model, which has always been one of my biggest dreams!

Unprofessional company who you shouldn’t pay money to
Be very wary about paying any money to this organisation. I signed up my child to this company, they quizzed me on how much I knew about the industry (which was limited) and this is where they get you. The least you know The easier it is to get roped in. They provide different packages where you need to pay a deposit depending on the board you choose which they say will be refundable at the end of the contract and verbally stated to me the deposit is held should you not attend the jobs offered to you but this is further from the truth. They encouraged me in the meeting to try and pay more to get a higher board and made out like they don’t offer this option usually and how this was a special circumstance. Throughout the contract they had limited, eligible work for my child in addition to stating my child was the first on their books. If this is the case you never catered for her from the beginning. Their website even states they have baby work and teenager well what about ages 2-12?
I informed them of this issue and they even acknowledged (again receipts of this) I even highlighted them not providing relevant work jeopardises my deposit which they stated it wouldn’t effect it (again receipts of this). A lot of the jobs were not official modelling jobs but jobs from “trying to make it” photographers who wanted to build their profile. A lot of jobs would leave you out of pocket just travelling as they were not paid work.
Their communication is poor and they provided a reel at the end of my contract. They highlight in their response “oh we provided you photos etc” but that’s what you state you do for FREE!
I got cold feet regarding this “company” 8 days after I paid my deposit and asked for a refund. I was refused and told I need to see the contract out till the end. Only to be told a year later that the contract I entered didn’t start till 2 months later so at the time I asked for my deposit back I wasn’t in a contract- so why are you withholding peoples deposits when they haven’t even started working for you or their profile hasn’t gone live? This shows their true hand as to what they are really about. Most people know with anything you purchase you have some form of cooling off period. Due to me not trusting in their handling I kept evidence of all which I plan to take further. You only have to look up the company on companies house you will see ccjs against them - this info is all out there. Which makes you think why would a company with this status be quick to refund people? They will find ways not to refund you and most positive reviews are from the beginning. Guys REAL modelling agencies won’t ask for “deposits” or your money and if this is the case hold the deposit in an official deposit facility with a neutral firm, instead they handed me a cut out paper on the day with their account details on and asked me to transfer. As this is a transfer you are unlikely to get a refund. They attempt to ignore my request to provide proof of all eligible jobs throughout the period by enticing me to join for another year if I followed their rules. They don’t even follow their own rules and I informed them I don’t want any part of my child being associated with this scam. Do your homework before handing your money over, there are plenty people who have been victim to this company who are all starting to talk up. They smear “we’re government regulated” to justify their operations, but I’m confident that this will come to and halt soon.

⚠️ SCAM ALERT
⚠️ SCAM ALERT: Eclipse Model Management ⚠️
** UPDATE my right to reply following their reply today 15th Jan 2025 **
What this company have failed to do is provide me with ANY of the items listed on the £1000 Elite board, which inc photos, model booker, portfolio, video reel, log in to the jobs portal, catwalk training sessions, no contact, the list could go on. As it stands, I am not represented by them in any marketing way.
Victoria also called me yesterday (14th Jan) to ask me to take down this negative review in exchange for continuation as their model and stated she had 'the perfect job for me'.
What they are failing to tell innocent models is that they do NOT deliver on their promises and they state a 'fully refundable deposit' but refuse you a refund when they don't deliver. Plus their claim 'Dennis did not hang up the phone on me' is false and I have this on a recorded call!
I know this as many victims have reached out to me on Facebook following this review. When you make a payment to 'Eclipse Model Management' it goes to two different companies - 'Portfolio Kings' and 'EM Management Group'.
Furthermore, their Companies House registration number 10461493 is yet another company called 'Models Advice Bureau Ltd'. If this doesn't make you run a mile then I don't know what will. I'm only upset I didn't look into this before handing over £1000!
My bank, Action Fraud, Citizens Advice, Police and Trading Standards are currently looking into these matters.
I want to warn others about my experience with Eclipse Model Management, located at 11 Whitestone Way, Croydon CR0 4WF.
In November 2024, I paid this agency £1000, trusting their promises of professional photos, a video showreel, a model profile, and a dedicated model booker. To date, I’ve received none of these deliverables. Despite repeated calls and emails, I’ve had no photos, no video, no profile, and no communication from their so-called model booker or videographer.
When I called them on 8th January 2025 to demand answers, their representative, Dennis, was rude, tried to upsell me additional services, and even hung up on me. This behaviour was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
After researching online, I discovered many others with similar complaints. It’s clear to me that this agency are targeting aspiring models to take their money without fulfilling any promises.
If you’ve also been affected, please report this company to Action Fraud. Together, we can prevent others from being scammed by this fraudulent agency.

Wow!
Wow, this is what dreams are made of. What an amazing modelling agency. My friend went there and had THE BEST TIME. Hopefully, he'll get his free photos sent to him :)
Cool photographer
I would like to thank eclipse for providing this photoshoot experience. The photographer was really chill and directed me when I was lost because I had never done it before. The rest of the interview process had a strange vibe though; Jacob felt a bit intense but maybe that was because I generally felt like uncomfortable

It's a bit concerning
Hello there,
I recently came there for an interview. I got selected as well, but when it came to signing a contract, they gave me the option to choose from their multiple packages. I chose the basic package. Even when I had decided that I wanted to go with the basic package they were pressuring me into purchasing the more expensive package. But I kept my foot down and signed up for the basic package.
Now, while signing up, I had specifically asked them about how the brands would approach me and they told me that because it's a basic package the companies would have to personally search for my profile to contact me for work. Later, they also told me that this profile-making is for free. Now that I have gone onto their website to search for my profile the pictures that were taken to check my profile have not been uploaded. I would also like to add that these guys were rushing me into making a decision saying, "We are a very busy company" (as if I am a very free person and have nothing else to look forward to).
My pictures that were taken at the time of my interview have not been uploaded and I am worried about my profile and picture. Even the person who took my interview was a bit intimidating. He kept on asking me if I found that being a model is for free. I only went there because the girl who called me for the interview was very polite and sweet to me on call. Also, there was another staff member who was a being patient with me. He also told me that I could take some time and then decide which package I would like to continue with. But the other guy who took my interview kept on ranting "We are a very busy company and have no time for all of this" and "There are a lot of people that we need to look for" "Do you think becoming a model does not cost money" He kept on coming in and out of the interview room. Also, when he realized that I had gone with the basic package he rushed me even more. He walked in with the contract papers and then made me sign them in a rush, and then opened the door to tell me to leave saying that now you are free to go. He rushed me out as if I had no business being there.
Now my biggest concern is what will happen to the pictures that I gave to the company and what about the money I sent on the contract. As of now, I have not been contacted by them.
