Don't use this joke of a company. They contract out to complete useless idiots. Had them replace a battery for my daughter out of state in FL. Guy came and replaced it. Problem now was windshield wipers would get stuck in up position. Multiple calls, no show appointments, and finally a fix that now has the wipers hitting each other. Contractor lies, keeps missing appointments and now seems like a mental case with texts he sends. Now I might have to fly down to make sure he is not a threat to my daughter. Instead of sending someone else out to fix it, 800BATTERY sends this incompetent nut job. Horrible customer service!!
I really wanted this to work
I really wanted this to work. But despite promising a very short window of response, I placed order at 5:47 pm but heard it was after hours. The next day tech scheduled between 1-3 pm. No updates, no show, I called them at 3:30 and they said they had issues finding a tech. I usually contacted them for any updates , they did not initiate. Went into the next day and they continued to have same issue not being able to secure install tech. I finally canceled almost 48 hours after placing order. They were very accommodating but just couldn’t deliver on their promise.

Placed order for battery delivery with install. They insisted I need an upgrade of $130. No one showed. They still put through the upgrade payment. No refund. No one answers the phone. No one answers emails. I’ve lost money from missing work and my bank account being overdrawn from charges they said wouldn’t go through
Awful company and service
Awful company and service. I contacted a battery replacement for 3-5pm and they couldn’t find a technician at all. I don’t need to explain all the headache this will cause me.

I bought a battery from 1-800-Battery with an 18 month warranty. The battery died in less than a year. They told me they couldn’t replace it because I had moved to an area that they didn’t service. I asked for a refund of one-third of the cost of the battery (because the battery lasted for two-thirds of the warranty period). Was told several times someone would be getting back to me on it, but no one ever did. Very disappointing. Update - someone from 1-800-battery did get back to me and told me they wouldn't refund any part of the purchase price. They said the warranty is no longer honored since the car was no longer in Florida where I bought the battery, they said if I brought the car back to Florida they might honor the warranty. I told them the car won't run with a dead battery. They said I could have it towed. Thought about contacting the BBB to file a complaint, but then noticed 1-800-Battery is not a member of the BBB, which doesn't surprise me at all.
I will never use this company again
I will never use this company again. Mobile tech checked battery and determined that it was not the battery so I didn't purchase a battery. My car still wouldn't start and check engine and other dashboard cautions displayed. Had car towed and dealer said that all diagnostics showed all was fine but after they replaced the battery, the car ran fine and all dashboards cautions deleted! I wrote email and asked for my trip charge to be reimbursed ($100) and 1-800-battery said no and showed me a picture of my battery functioning at 12% which is their standard level of good which is a ridiculous notion! Needed a battery quick
I checked all local auto parts places and none delivered along with the installation I needed. I selected Carbattery.com on a fluke and thought I would try it. At first it was too easy so I thought it could be a scam; I looked up the reviews and decided to try it at 7:30 AM-Long story short the battery was replaced and I was on my way by noon. Great service at a fair price.

I ordered the battery at noon and it was delivered and installed by 6 pm the same day. Kyle was very polite and had it changed out in no time. Great experience.
Takes 6 hours and battery was swapped for no reason
First of all communicating a proper time would be nice. I work in a field where things can be late but I don’t tell customers 3 different times and keep pushing it back because they don’t end up happy. Secondly why would someone be sent to fix my battery when they can’t even figure out if the issue is my battery? It was a blown fuse and I was told my battery was having issues… yea the new battery had the same issue but I wasn’t told that. Wasted 6 hours and 300 then had to spend more to actually fix it. My tow truck driver could even tell me the battery wasn’t the issue but you tech said otherwise.
Tech team did arrive in about 2 hrs
Tech team turned up as scheduled with a battery different than the one pictured and ordered expecting I accept on faith that the delivered battery was better. I did not argue the issue and accepted alternate battery.
Tech team worked very diligently to tighten a faulty battery terminal connector, but ultimately failed. I have no knowledge as to how the clamp was damaged in the first
place.
