Awful customer service

Polar has some great products, but they are not where they need to be in terms of getting the basics right. This applies across the board, but their customer service is awful.

I am trying to return the Polar Loop. Their help page says to use the return label. I didn't get one. I tried maybe 10 times throughout the day to speak to a human and got through twice. Unfortunately, this was the same person Aris, hours apart. They said they were not from the UK department and had no idea how to get me a return slip and was generally unhelpful. I waited and tried again, but each time I got Aris, who said he would forward me to the UK team and ultimately just ended the chat.

This company has a lot of work to do, and I certainly won't be buying products from Polar in the future.

Customer Diservice

The colleague I spoke with - Auberon - could not have been more unhelpful. I sent my name four times, and each time they would send a response like "We need your full account name for verification" without even telling me that the name I had given them wasn't working.

At one point, I asked if there was even a sentient human on the other end of the chat.

After sending my name maybe six times I sent a sarcastic comment like "finally, well done" and they cut the call.

Now I shouldn't have been sarcastic but this person was obtuse and trying to get under my skin or that is just how they are trained.

Awful incompetence

I spoke to customer service at 9am and asked them to cancel an order they said they did. Then I get back to them because I get no cancellation email and they say don’t worry it will come within 24 hours.
I then get an email saying my delivery is on its way. I speak to one advisor and they say nothing can be done I speak to another advisor and they say they can tell the courier to return to the warehouse I ask this more helpful advisor if they can send me an email of the chat as a record of our discussion. They never did.

At every step I was assuming SportsDirect were incompetent and trying to be proactive but even that didn’t work. Truly an awful customer service experience and I will avoid this company until I feel compensated for this.

Customer service are unhelpful and robotic

Customer service isn’t any better than the automated AI. DHL had repeatedly failed my delivery - all other couriers seems to make it here fine? - and all they could do was point me to an FAQ page.

The only other company I refuse to deal with is EasyJet and now I can add FootLocker to that list.

Choosing seats is a SCAM - avoid this company.

I paid for my partner and I to sit together at the back of the plane. When I get to the airport I am issued my boarding pass and whilst I am waiting to board the plane I notice that my seats are now different to the ones I booked online. I speak to the easyJet staff and they do not seem concerned at all and tell me to speak to cabin crew and try to get a refund when back home.

Whilst on the aircraft it is apparent that a few people have had issues with seats being changed and this is the first time I am made aware that easyJet have changed aircraft and the seat configuration has also changed. The cabin crew staff apologise and are very helpful but tell me to claim for a refund online.

When I get home I cannot find a number for easyJet and instead speak to an advisor through their virtual chat.

They tell me my seat was UPGRADED and they can't refund me. I am at this point in complete shock. When I start to ask for specific reasoning the chat conveniently ends. So I try again but get the same vague and unhelpful response. How a corporation of this size can try to scam so blatantly is beyond me. Somehow they think that separating me from my partner was an upgrade and they refuse to refund the specific seats I had chosen so I could sit next to her. It almost sounds like clever capitalists have got in a room and invented fraudulent stories to make sure that money stays in their bank account.

At this point I will never use easyJet again and will tell as many people that will listen about my experience. I will also escalate this legally and notify media so they can tell people that even selecting a specific seat - which is already a joke - offers no guarantee that you will sit next to the people you want.

I am disgusted by this company and although it was only £25 for the selected seats I will never engage with a company that tries to scam its own customers.

Unique and great product

The product is amazing. I love that I can get a deep tissue massage whilst watching tv and it really helps me find tight spots in my knee and calves.

Would love to see a digital tensioner that can apply more psi so it can get into my hamstrings more.

Ordered a next day delivery from…

Ordered a next day delivery from Recover Fit but it’s been nearly a week and still no product. The driver has consistently just taking a picture of the gate rather and said he couldn’t deliver the product. He can buzz the gate, he has the pass code and has our phone number. Just pure laziness which he somehow thinks is justifiable. Will make an effort to never accept a DPD delivery for any product again.
