Excellent service from Juliet who provided me by return email the Pdf operating instructions for my home office desk as I had misplaced them and the height adjustment wouldn't work
Having reset the controls I am fully operational again !!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Company as their initial service at order and delivery was First Class and now this excellent after sales service

A very helpful Classic Car Insurance Intermerdiary

Efficient personal service on the phone, no extended wait times and spoke twice to obtain a quote and later to accept and arrange. Spoke with three different people (Jack, Sakra and Cameron). Very professional and no unnecessary timewasting. Attractive pricing for both Classic insurance and the various add-ons ( salvage retention, agreed value, RAC UK and Europe cover and Legal Protection). All documents on the Lancaster portal within minutes or paying for the insurance on credit card. What's NOT to like with service like that !! Well done Lancaster Team :-)

Best tyre shop in Waterlooville area

Excellent telephone conversation to order 4 tyres which came as indicated within 3 days. Telephone call to advise of their delivery. Visited Denmead outlet that day and was very well looked after by the Team and was especially impressed by the technician who looked after my Mercedes SL and also adjusted the rear tracking/camber. Thoroughly recommend and will be back again to have my winter wheels fitted to my ALPINA

A very professional Skoda dealer

Very impressed by the professional sales team at Richmond Skoda. My main point of contact was the sales adviser Piers, but he was constructively supported by two Sales Managers; Ricky and Adam, who with all of the regulatory governance nowadays, were approving key steps of the sales process. I requested an extended test drive, which was approved and I was able to show the car to my partner who lives some miles away. On my confirmation to Piers after her approval, I returned the car the next day to conclude the purchase paperwork and drive away!!))✅👍. The facilities at the dealership are first class for a waiting appointment; immaculate WC, drink machines and chairs to use and work with free WiFi. The Owner walked through speaking to numerous staff members as he collected something to eat and drink and return to his first floor office. One immediately had the impression that this was an Owner, who hired quality staff and let's them get on with their jobs. Well done Michael!!💯
I am new to living in the area and was most impressed with my first contact with Richmond Skoda and look forward to my business with them in the years to come. Thoroughly recommended.

Review of Bournes Moves - Removals, Storage & Shipping

A very mixed service

The initial contact, site visit by Tom and quotations and ability to organise the move out into storage was fine with Kenny co-ordinating.

Things started to go wrong with a very mixed crew for packing and they dismantled a designer high gloss sideboard, but didn't wrap any of the pieces, which they left outside in the car park whilst trying to work out how to load the containers (Not impressed)

The move out from storage was not good and the crew were worse than before with obvious tensions amongst them and two very junior members who needed supervising but didn't get it ((

Now I find they have damaged my sideboard with a drawer smashed so it unusable and designer CD storage ladders (£600) which are damaged. Despite extensive photos and explanation of the designer sideboard which was declared for insurance at £2200 I have received a derisory proposal of £177 for the two items.

Given that the sideboard damage was caused by Bournes unprofessional packing (not protecting the items). I expect a much improved financial proposal otherwise I am off to the BAR

I’m sorry to hear that damage to these items has detracted from an overall positive move. As you can see from the majority of our reviews this is not normally the case and we do work hard with our post-move support to ensure any rare occasions of damage are fairly handled to maintain a positive experience. My understanding is that our Customer Services Manager is in direct correspondence with you regarding your open insurance claim to ensure a fair valuation can be reached based on the Indemnity Policy arranged with our independent Insurers.

Of course, if you are not satisfied with the final valuation offered, we’ll be happy to support you with arbitration through the British Association of Removers. As a professional mover our membership of BAR provides this service just for this purpose, to offer reassurance to our customers that they are fairly represented in case of any dispute.

Thoroughly recommended Company (Maidstone branch)

Overall a very good experience and my first time using them, but recommended by a friend. The whole process of initial phone call, Consultant's appointment, and visit to Maidstone Showroom, which is just fabulous and Mina there is an angel !!))
Installation was mixed. Two fitters, one very good (Matthew); arrived very early on the day and was quiet and polite and. just got on with it to my complete satisfaction. The second turned up late, boisterous and demanding a tea on arrival and put on music without any consideration for me. To add insult to injury he required three cups of tea through the visit, spent an hour talking to Matthew, who had of course finished and damaged the stair case walls as he rushed out at the end with his vacuum and tool box. I hope Sliderobes will speak with him about this poor behaviour as he is certainly NOT a good Ambassador for the company and I certainly wouldn't let him in my home again !!

A satisfying experience in buying a newbuild home!

The sales team at Larkfields Waterlooville Hants have been exemplary throughout from my first initial visit, when I wasn't really thinking about a newbuild, but was curious as I was moving some distance for family reasons. I was certainly impressed by the build quality and design of the show houses. When I had accepted an offer on my sale I revisited, but realised I might not be able to complete in the tight timescale Bloor understandably required. Some six months later when my purchase chain had collapsed I revisited again and luckily they had just realised three Morris type homes, which I had seen six months earlier and liked very much. Now being a cash buyer I signed my reservation papers in four days and completed within three months as soon as the house was finished. So I have had considerable dealings with Sales (thank you guys ...you know who you are !!) and more recently Site. I have been very impressed by Jamie the Site Manager and the whole Bloor process of looking after the Customer. I have even dealt with Customer Care, but in the end the problem sorted itself out and no visit was required. The last newbuild purchase process and aftercare I experienced in 2007 was very different and the housebuilding industry has come on a long way since then. Well done Bloor and am recommending to all my Friends and Family !! ))

5 Stars for the Larkfields Waterlooville Team !!

Am very impressed with the Sales Team at Larkfields, who have made my experience of buying my new home enjoyable (choosing flooring and tiling) and efficient (10 days from first view to reservation meeting!) with numerous follow-ups and site visits. I have had contact with all five; so thank you Charlotte, Debbie, Melissa, Mitchell and Samantha !!
I am also impressed by the tidiness of the site and courteous site labour when visiting, which I assume is a testament to John, the Site Manager. I look forward to updating my review after a hopeful successful handover at Completion in September !!))

A disappointing experience with Shawbook

I am disappointed with SB after having been a customer for many years with savings products.
After an earlier experience when they did not have connectivity to do transfer out to another ISA provider other than by paper (!!) I vowed never to use them again. But the other day they offered a market leading 3 year fix so I forgot about my earlier experience and opened up a new account with transfers from two ISA at Virgin. SB did offer a bank to bank transfer from their selection of other ISA providers but the transfer never took place and all I got was an e-message to ring Virgin, which I did. I was told they had used the wrong processing code for my sort code at Virgin. I rang SB and after a considerable time trying to get through security I had a constructive conversation with the customer service officer. She said she would rekey the instruction using my sort code and promised that the transaction would take place now. Six days later still no transfer and just another e-message saying the transfer can't be done and I should speak to Virgin again. I did and THIS TIME Virgin had no evidence of any communication from SB so I decided to forget SB and stay with Virgin in two of their other ISA products.

DPD is by far and away the most reliable parcel delivery company currently operating in the UK. Excellent app which gives you full control of deliveries and collections. I have used both and cannot fault them. Tony our driver here in Tunbridge Wells is excellent
