I transferred an ISA to Shawbrook
I transferred an ISA to Shawbrook, and they managed the whole process. Everything went smoothly, with no problems, and the interest rate was good.
Think twice before investing with Shawbrook Bank
Shawbrook Bank tend to delay in transferring the matured funds to other organisations. They would make any excuse as they offer only 0.10%. In my case they blamed the completed ISA transfer form was not clear. Tried arguing to say the same form had been used by my family members and they had problems in transferring the funds. Raised a complaint at the beginning of September and to date no reply from the team. Their customer service is most terrible and the management try to cover up the mistakes made by the staff. I suggest think twice before investing with them.
A LONG DELAY IN TRANSFERRING OUT ON MATURITY
Shawbrook offered an uncompetitive interest rate when my Cash ISA matured so I transferred the funds to another building society. Shawbrook insisted on keeping to the legislation of 15 working days to carry out the transfer. Even though they received the transfer request from the other building society on 3 October 2025, they did not send the funds until 15th. Hence I lost a lot of interest as a result of this. So I would warn new customers that even if Shawbrook offer a good rate they will lose out on maturity.

Terrible customer service.
Instead of adding my 2024 interest, they deducted it!
Then when supposedly correcting that in 2025 they refused to breakdown or explain how they were making it good, so that for all I know they cheated me out of interest owed.

A recent Isa transfer from another provider took 15 days to complete even though both parties had received and acknowledged the appropriate transfer documents prior to the agreed maturity date.
Despite several communications with both parties l have not received a satisfactory response for the transfer delay . This delay has resulted in the loss of 14 days interest on my account through no fault of mine.

Transferred an ISA from another bank to Shawbrook. The other bank took very long to process my request. By the time the money was transferred (two weeks later) the fixed interest rate had reduced, but Shawbrook was lenient and put me on the better rate.
