SCS will take your money and run

I purchased a power recliner from this now Italian company. SCS is not British anymore! I paid £1,577.00 including delivery. I purchased online after looking in the store. The sofa came with a stitching fault on the backs of the sofa (wish I could upload photos of the sofa issue) the left back stitching was 1.5 inches higher than the right, this is how the sofa came from the Italian manufacturer. SCS is now Italian-owned! SCS sent out a technician from the Emmiera group. They repaired the sofa by pulling the fabric tighter. But then I got crinkles in the back so I wanted compensation. I signed the technician's work as "not happy" after contacting SCS they sent out another technician. Both technicians agreed it was a manufacturing fault! SCS basically told me to get lost and go to the ombudsman! Disgusting customer support for a pensioner with huge health issues. All these furniture companies are the same. I had the same issues with Furniture Village in February 2025, they used the same technicians, and they replaced the sofa but the 2nd sofa was in a worse condition than the first. Furniture Village refused to replace it again. They collected the sofa and I was left with nothing to sit on. Furniture Village also ripped me off £200 in their refund! Disgusting from both companies. They will grab your money and run and not give any customer service. In the end, SCS told me to go to the ombudsman! Disgusting behaviour!!

I am sorry that you have been disappointed in your experience with us.
Looking over your order I can see that your concerns with the stitching were resolved on the first visit.
A second technician attended however it was then reported that no manufacturing faults were present. We would not offer compensation for furniture that is deemed to be correct.

I apologise if this was upsetting for you and again I am sorry if it is not the outcome that you may have hoped for.

Phoned to talk witnessing my Will

Phoned on Friday 03/03/2025 to talk about my Will etc. I was told Keira will phone me back. I got nothing, no phone call just ignored! Phoned today 05/03/2025, again I was told that Keira will phone you when she is free. Nothing yet again!!

Don't use this solicitors, they got no manners or care for you whatsoever!!

Joseph Joseph not what you think!

I purchased a salt and pepper mills set, delivered on the 01/03/2025, after 5 mins of receiving the items I had to contact customer service (which is nonexistent) cost £60, both are different colours of wood. Contacted Joseph Joseph customer service via website messenger because the phone number is not working. Emailed them again today 04/03/2025 and again no reply. Now I will stop payment via my bank. Disgusting behaviour with no customer service

Be careful of this company!!

How can Uber justify double the fare

Just checked how much my ride would cost to the hospital today. £17 if I go now but if I book to be pick up at 09:30 am the price goes up to £39. How can Uber justify double the fare price if you book in advance. This is a scam/rip off!! Uber have also been quoting one price and charging me a different price. I've had to contact support twice in 7 days! Disgusting!! This is a scam/rip off!! TFL needs to sort this company out once and for all!! I'm an Uber One subscriber as well. I say, bring back the old mini cab and tell Uber to do one!!

Do NOT buy from eufy

Do NOT buy from eufy. They will do everything to get out of the warranty they offer if you try and claim! Eufy is a rip off company!!

The email I got from eufy/Anker was a nice way to say "unlucky mate get lost" Nice one eufy/Anker

Anker should know better!!! Disgusting!!

My base station blue and red lights do not work, and I keep getting messages that the dirty water tank is not fitted correctly, but it just wash the mops 15 minutes ago. My eufy x9 Pro is not even a year old!!!!

I will NEVER buy from eufy or Anker ever again!! Plus the RoboVac is not that good to be honest

THIS IS A WARNING ABOUT DFS!!

THIS IS A WARNING!!
Do NOT buy from DFS! All sofa's a made in China and have nothing but DEFECTS!!. I phoned to talked to a salesman after picking my new sofa on the phone he was super, kind helpful and polite, a very nice guy. We arranged a date and time for him to call back for me to pay the following week. I NEVER GOT THAT CALL!!

Since then I've checked and checked and tripped checked about DFS!

DFS Romford is a 3.5 star store rating (check the reviews for this store) I've also had information on buyers, and nothing but upset buyers, sofas breaking, DFS ignoring customers, not replacing items and not even getting their refunds back! I've checked reviews , my family, friends and their family, friends and extended friends!!

I'm so happy I went to Furniture Village!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Do not use Bolt

Do not use Bolt, simple!! They rip people off. If I order a taxi to Brentwood community hospital it's £11, if I schedule a taxi it's £24. Support gave me a load of jargon that was copied and pasted from a script. The promo for 1st time use was £10, now it's £8 and I've not ordered one taxi. If I schedule a taxi no promo is add! This company is a joke, support was useless and never replied to me again after me leaving more messages, use Bolt at your own risk!!

Speeds are 100% correct now!

UPDATE to old review! Community Fibre turned up on time on 07/12/2021. Richard and Manny were super engineers. Fantastic work done by both!! I changed from 1Gbps to 3Gbps. Community Fibre sorted it and change my router very quickly. I am now getting just over the 3Gbps! I am now very happy! Thank you Community Fibre you done a super job

Plutus! "This is the Way"

I have been with Plutus from the start back 2015, The platform that brings crypto and traditional finance together with a non-custodial wallet that mean that we/you and I are in control of your money. Plutus does not hold any private keys to any crypto wallets! This is very important in today’s world of cryptocurrency’s. You have a bank account with sort code & account number. You can top up for Plutus account with your bank account for fiat or crypto wallets. Plutus will supply you with a VISA debit card. With this card you can earn cash back rewards, perks and an integrated Exchange called The PlutusDEX!

Before using Plutus, I was using a few cards with other companies in the crypto world, Since Plutus I only now have the one debit card and that is with Plutus. The other was more expensive to use, no cash back, no support like Plutus. And, this is one of the strong points with Plutus, the support is pure quality! From day one Plutus showed to their customers that they are the important one. Let’s face it, no customers, no Plutus!

6, The team is concern about the community, they listen to their members! This is very important!
7, The integration of BTC into The PlutusDEX is a huge step in the right direction. This will take Plutus to a level that's not seen before in the crypto world.

I understand that there are still some limitations, for example the Plutus rewards, they do take some time to appear in our account, but this is something that it’s not a problem for its members and myself also the ETH gas fees might be a disadvantage when you use the integrated PlutusDex.

My rating is five stars!! I really like the way Plutus have worked since 2015. They have come a long way, and their services are #1 Plutus in my opinion a Blockchain company that is going to take the financial services industry to a level that no one in the crypto industry has seen before.
