Shocking overall experience purchasing wedding party suits

My wedding party of 7, vistied Slaters Menswear in Cardiff in September to select our suits for my early December wedding. The initall visit was fine, the polite member of staff measured us all up and put the suit order in which i was advised would take roughly 3 weeks to come into store. Unfortunately this was the only positive experience after mutliple visits.

After 6 weeks, i had recieved no phonecall so i contacted the store to which i was told a story which didnt really make sense. Anyway, the suits came in another 2 weeks later (End October). The wedding party visited the store to try on the suits and have any amendments taken. We was also got measure for the shirts which we were told come with a bow tie.

On the 3rd visit to try on for the final time is when disater hit for many members of the wedding party. The salesmen were happy to send us away without trying on the suits...its lucky we did as on atleast 3 suits the trouser legs were differemt sizes (an inch out when measure). Again the salesmen tried tellling us they were ok when clearly after measuring they were not. The salesmen talked over me reguarly and did the same with my dad and step dad to be when they visited seperately who also had miss measurements. When picking up the shirts they said the bow ties were out of stock but we could collect seperately when back in stock.

When i tried on the shirt it was like a tent on me...again the salesman said it was fine and said a size down wouldnt fit. After firm pressure they let me try a size down which fitted perfect. After this the button on the waist coat fell off...at this point we was extremly stressed. The salesmans was self assured and cocky acting like it was no big deal...finally i left with a well fitting suit. After is ordeal, the seamstress said he will measure all the legs on the 7 suits, he did this and advised every suit leg was half an inch to an inch longer than the other leg so he would level them off accordingly...

My dad returned this sunday to collect the bow ties to which we was told he would have to pay...this was after we was told they came with the shirts on 3 seperate occasions..my dad complained after the one member of staff basically talked over him and told him tough luck. The manager then came out and allowed him to leave with the bow ties for free.

All in all an horendous experience. As a good will gesture, they reduced £70 off my final bill and provided me a free shirt. Slightly appreciated but this does not take away from the horrendous experience over multiple visits. I appreciate errors happen but the disregard for customer opinions and the cocky demeanor of some staff was appalling. They would of happily sent us away with poor fitting suits.

Terrible Bank and Thieves

Terrible bank. Locked my account and stolen the funds. My account has been locked for over a month. I have called and DM'd multiple times but keep getting told 'it's with the relevant team'. I've no idea how they can do this to so many people. Chase, please don't comment telling me to ring customer services, I've done this several time with no result. Horrendous experience with this bank.

Quick withdrawal but restrict quickly

The account didn't last long after a few wins they restricted the account. That's to be expected when your beating SP reguarly but what seperates them from some (not all) other bookies is that they restricted the account very quickly. Ulyimatley my time with this bookie was very short.

No issues withdrawing funds. I made the request yesterday afternoon and it was in my account the next day mid morning (so less than 24hrs). So no conaitn from that aspect.

Not bad but restrict accounts quick

Not a bad bookmaker but was quick to restrict my account to amounts that make BetUK no longer useable for me. No issues getting my withdrawal approved. My account was short lived but I expected that and wasnt expecting them to be the anomaly that don't restrict long term winners.... Just expected the restrictions to not come so quick.

The update has ruined Betbull

Betbull used to be a top bookie for me. It priced up the horse racing the same times as the big bookmakers, had competitive odds, quick withdrawals, easy/fast use app and fair restrictions.... Then they had the update/overhaul on 7th April

Since this update every highlight has now gone. Firstly, they no longer price up horse racing until a couple hours pre race, same day. I don't know any bookies operating like this. All big bookmakers have day before, early prices and even most tinpot bookies.

Secondly, the new interface and app lags and crashes regularly. I made several attempts of placing a simple 5 fold acca but gave up in the end as the app kept crashing.

Thirdly, withdrawals have become horrendous. Without early prices on the horse racing, Betbull is literally a last place bookie for me now so I withdrew my balance as I have no use for the bookmaker when everywhere else is better. The withdrawal took around 6-7 days to be processed and cleared.

What an horrendous update. It's literally removed everything positive Betbull had to offer. Like alot of punters, I've withdrawn my balance and left. If they fix the crashing app out and start pricing the horse racing early again like the main bookies, then I will return. Until then, I'm out!!!

Horrendous bookie. Glad they have surrendered UK Gambling License

Horrendous bookie. Worst I've experienced. Made me jump through hoops with ridiculous verifications when I withdrew in January. Not forgetting that they already had ID and proof of address when opening the account. After a withdrawal request they asked for: photos of bank cards, bank statements accurate to the bank cards, bank statement showing a deposit to Novibet. Then they wanted a bank statement showing an Iban code... Unluckily for them, they had no choice to then proceed with my withdrawal. I worry how many peoole they have stolen from. No surprise that they have surrendered their UK Gambling license today. Got my money out but I worry that they will cause problems for most.

Shouldn't of failed MOT

My car failed due to a cracked exhaust bracket (but they didn't do welding so I had to repair at another garage) and for a dash alert light and because they didn't repair electrics they were unable to ascertain the severity of the problem. I got a 2nd opinion from two garages who actually checked the car and found no faults. I was advised it should of never been failed for this but marked as an advidary to get the light knocked as a loose electrical connection was keeping it on. Consequently, I paid for another MOT at another garage. I did advise your garage pre MOT that the alert light had been on the car for the past 4 annual MOTs and as there were no faults being found it passed with an advisory each time for a loose electrical connection preventing light from being turned off. Your garage wouldn't consider this. I think this Protyre garage was in a rush to get my car out as when I took it at the arranged appointment they advised they had alot in that day and a staff shortage so didn't know if they could look at it and asked if I could come back another day which I couldn't. The garage don't do welding, don't do a electrics so I struggled to see what they actually did apart from tyre replacements. I wouldn't recommend or use again.
