Update -Part 3 (October 2025):

Update -Part 3 (October 2025):
The zirconia crown placed by Dentzz during my June 2025 visit has shattered into pieces after less than four months of normal use - Photo evidence available upon request or verification, also posted on my existing Google reviews. This should never happen with a genuine zirconia crown I spent thousands of rupees on.

I have repeatedly requested implant passports, warranty papers, and material documentation from Dentzz, but even after more than three months, nothing has been provided. This new failure only reinforces my earlier concerns about the quality and authenticity of the materials used.
Patients reading this should understand that my experience spans over 10 years — repeated failures, lack of transparency, and now a shattered crown within months.

My message to genuine patients: Please do your due diligence and review the items mentioned in my previous reviews before trusting this clinic, and avoid posting early positive reviews until you have tested the durability and quality of the work over time. It may look and feel great initially before you fly back to your home country thinking you’ve achieved something meaningful ,but in my experience, the results simply do not last!!

Update/part 2 :This is a continuation…

Update/part 2 :This is a continuation of my original review dated 16/08/25 and a direct response to Dentzz’s public reply on it.

Dentzz’s response yet again conveniently evades the several failures that I highlighted — failures that occurred repeatedly year after year since 2015. Instead, they attempt to take credit for a single root canal treated in 2015, calling it a “medical success against all odds.” The reality is very different: that tooth was rotting with an abscess and gradually eating up my jaw bone for several years. Despite full-mouth scans being taken at nearly every forced return visit each year for other issues, Dentzz dentists consistently overlooked the infection until it caused visible abscess and severe pain, forcing me to travel back to India in September 2024 and June 2025, yet again with an abscess the same evening post treatment in June 2025 and a day before my scheduled flight back to UK, I had shared photos of pus filled boil near the treated tooth with Dentzz team. That is not success, it is neglect. Both my trips was absolute waste of time, money and efforts, just like all of my past trips.

Dentzz in their response asks how I could know if junior dentists were performing implants when I didn’t undergo an implant procedure in June 2025. To me, this feels dishonest, dismissive and misleading to readers. During that June visit, Dentzz introduced me to their “new” implantologist. After speaking with the individual and reviewing the publicly available profile, it was immediately clear to me that this person did not have the senior experience I expected for a complex implant surgery. Also the explanation of the procedure differed from what the clinic manager had told me earlier. I wasn’t going to take any chances, especially after the failed 2019 implant surgery at the hands of another implantologist who no longer works there. I therefore declined outright to proceed with further implant surgeries. All of these were clearly mentioned to the Head of Operations during the meeting at the clinic.

Dentzz’s own reply confirms poor clinical decision made in 2019 failed implants surgery. If Nobel biocare wasn’t suitable for my bone structure then why were they implanted in my jaw bone in the first place??? You drilled two Nobel Biocare implants (can’t ascertain at this point however if they were genuine without the documentation which the clinic hasn’t provided yet) into the bone which you admitted then and now, was insufficient, exposing me to the risk of jaw fracture. When that failed, I had to book another flight for painful screw removal process and bone grafting before they attempted again during yet another trip — this time using Ankylos implants. You calls this an “upgrade.” In reality, Ankylos are a cheaper, older system compared to Nobel Biocare — publicly documented information anyone can verify. Why was I charged for Nobel Biocare, only to receive Ankylos when the first attempt failed? especially when you only present Nobel Biocare and Straumann as premium choices?

Your claim that I made an “irrational demand” of £30,000 is misleading. After back and forth over email regarding all the issues mentioned here and raised verbally, Dentzz’s Head of Operations — via email dated 07 August 2025 — specifically asked me for the compensation amount I had in mind. I responded with the aforementioned amount that fairly reflected ten years of repeated flights, hotel stays, clinic fees, additional UK dental visits to fix problems, along with the mental and physical trauma I had endured. To now reframe this as coercion is a betrayal of trust — asking me for an amount only to later mischaracterize it.

Dentzz’s response also publicly stated that I was “residing in Mumbai” — a false claim and a serious breach of privacy. Revealing personal circumstances of a patient in a public forum is unprofessional and falls under GDPR and other international privacy regulations. This reinforces what I noted in my review: Dentzz maintains handwritten treatment booklets, moved freely around the clinic by multiple staff, with no confidentiality safeguards. If they can publicly misstate my private circumstances here, patients should think carefully about how their sensitive health and other personal information is handled.

It has been more than two months and I still have not received implant passports, warranty documents, or other important details. This gives me serious reasons to question whether the materials placed in my mouth were the genuine branded products I paid for.

I stand by my review as an accurate, factual account of a decade-long nightmare. If any media/watchdog agencies worldwide wishes to verify and share my experience to protect other patients,am more than willing to discuss.

A Decade of Pain, Financial Loss & Betrayal – International Patients Beware.

I am a relatively young British citizen and have spent the last 10 years flying from the UK to India — sometimes once, sometimes twice a year — trusting Dentzz, Mumbai, with my dental care. Since 2015, they have performed multiple root canals, bridges, sinus lift surgeries, and five dental implants on me, in that order, monetarily profiting at every stage.

Not a single treatment has lasted more than a year without failing.

Instead, I’ve endured:
• 2015–2024: Root canals and bridges failing, leading to more invasive procedures. Crowns chipping or coming off — in most cases despite having undergone (and been charged separately for) gum contouring surgery.
• 2017 implant surgery: Caused sinus problems and nightly nose blockages that lasted for years.
• 2019 reckless implant surgery: Two failed implants requiring multiple return trips, possible jaw fracture risk, and an unannounced downgrade from the premium Nobel Biocare implants I paid for to cheaper Ankylos implants — with no refund.
• Permanent loss of multiple teeth on my right side (upper and lower jaw).
• Left jaw compromised by placing implants next to already failing root canal–treated teeth instead of replacing them with a proper implant bridge — meaning more treatment is still needed.

Across a decade, I have:
• Spent thousands of pounds on flights and hotels alone, plus thousands more on UK dentists to check or repair Dentzz’s work.
• Lost valuable time, endured significant pain, and lived with constant stress over my dental health — often being forced to travel back to Mumbai for remedial work.
• Been denied basic, essential documents: no implant passports, no warranty papers, no record of bone graft or abutment materials used, and no details on the quality of crowns placed — leaving me with no way to verify the authenticity of what’s been put in my mouth, despite repeated verbal and written requests.

Dentzz’s practices are deeply concerning:
• Dental records are handwritten and can easily be altered after the fact.
• Pricing is inconsistent and appears arbitrary — there is no standard price list, even when requested.
• Staff turnover is high — the dentist who treats you may be gone by your next visit, and new staff will deny responsibility for previous work or blame you and your “biology” for failures.
• In my case, they have avoided accountability at every stage, relying on silence, denial, and superficial fixes. Dishonesty is a recurring pattern among both dentists and management.
• On my most recent visit in June 2025, I learned that newly hired implantologists were not only recent graduates but also, presumably, not highly experienced. For a clinic charging premium rates, it is unacceptable that relatively junior doctors perform complex implant surgeries on unsuspecting patients — often older international patients.

I have raised my complaints in person, over email, and directly with their Head of Operations. Their reluctance to respond is obvious. They prefer WhatsApp messages (often edited after sending), have removed their clinic logo from their profile, and make escalation difficult — it took days just to obtain the Head of Operations’ email address so I could formally submit my grievances.

If you are considering Dentzz because of their glossy marketing, Western patient photos, staged interviews, or promises of “world-class care” — think again. In my experience, you risk not just your money, but your health, your time, and your peace of mind. You may even end up paying more than you would in your home country.

I cannot go back to 2015 and save myself the pain and financial burden — but you can avoid it entirely by never going there in the first place.

This has been the worst medical decision of my life. I would not wish this decade-long nightmare on anyone.

Hello AJ,

Your review contains several factual inaccuracies that do not reflect the care and support we have consistently extended to you.

In 2015, you approached us with a tooth that had previously undergone a root canal treatment elsewhere and was causing you problems. Against the odds, we managed to save the tooth, and it lasted for nine years, a medically successful outcome for a root canal retreatment.

When you experienced issues with the same tooth nine years later, we discussed a permanent solution involving extraction and implants, which you declined. At your request, we proceeded with another retreatment after thoroughly explaining the risks and prognosis, including the possibility that this solution might not be long-lasting. Although root canals are not covered under a lifetime warranty, we still performed the repeat procedure at no cost, purely as a goodwill gesture.

You claim that you discovered junior doctors placing implants in 2025. This is based on what facts? This is especially strange, since you have not undergone any implant procedure with us in 2025 or recently, nor have you reviewed their experience or credentials.

Implant selection is based on bone dimensions and density. In your case, the Nobel Biocare implant was not suitable for your bone structure. You were therefore upgraded at no additional cost to a more advanced implant under warranty, again as a gesture of goodwill.

Over the years, we have consistently honored warranties and provided replacement work whenever required. Despite this, you later informed us that you no longer wished to continue treatment with us. Following that, you made an irrational demand of £30,000, an amount that far exceeds the fees you have paid to date. Your communication appeared less as a request for support and more as an attempt to coerce us into meeting an unreasonable demand.

All pricing was transparently communicated to you before beginning any procedure, with your informed consent obtained at each stage. You were residing in Mumbai at the time, and if you found the prices high, you were free to choose another healthcare provider.

We remain committed to supporting all our patients with robust warranties and genuine aftercare. While every patient has the right to share their experience, it is important that such accounts accurately reflect the facts.

Yoyo was brilliant!

I am a new customer and had multiple questions about my gas and electricity connection.

I went on to chat and connected with Yoyo. I must say Yoyo was brilliant. Very polite and full of patience with list of queries that I had and ensured that I got an answers at the end even if it meant Yoyo had to reach out to someone internally to get a solution.

Very pleased with this experience!

Thanks again Yoyo!
