I ordered two rolls of painting paper at a total of €179. After a few days, received an email saying that they don’t have it in storage so my order will have a one week delay. It’s strange since you’d expect an art supply store to have 2 (!) rolls of paper in their storage. But ok. It is now 2 weeks later and I haven’t heard anything from them. Ridiculous.

Do not purchase from this store. They are scammers and not to be trusted. I’m gonna spread this message in the art community.

Bought a Green Day ticket for 175€…

Bought a Green Day ticket for 175€ which is twice the original price. It is for the golden circle standing places in front of the stage.
They don’t give you the ticket immediately but close to the event.

Now I received an email to “accept the ticket” but the ticket is for a seat somewhere in one of the sections! I didn’t accept the ticket and sent an email to the customer service. Will update here as the case unfolds. But the fact remains that they did try to trick me into accepting a wrong ticket while already having charged me doubly for the one I bought. Not a good start.

Update: they contacted me and explained that they call the golden circle “rij G” and give each ticket a seat number for administrative reasons. So my ticket is golden circle and I can accept it with peace. So happy ending!

worst website and app ever! Don't buy books from Routledge!!

worst website and app ever!

I paid €60 for a textbook from Routledge only to be forced to use this garbage app to access it! it somehow took over my system bringing me back to Chrome automatically when I swiped between screens and blocking all my other apps that were open. for example, I couldn't type on Pages anymore!!

Also, ever since I opened their garbage bookshelf my Macbook has been making this sound that it makes when it's overworking, and even though I deleted the app and restarted my Mac, the sound hasn't stopped yet. I'm shocked by the sheer incompetency and greed of both Routledge and Vitalsource forcing me to waste so much of my precious time struggling with their garbage software rather than studying. Do not, under any circumstance, make the mistake of buying e-books from Routledge.

Happy ending!

I bought a bottle in January and I have been taking very good care of it. Only hand washing, only using it for room-temp water, etc. But once, when I was drinking, a tiny piece of the plastic got into my mouth!! I looked and sure enough, a small chip on the neck.

However I was still using the bottle. Then some cracks started to form in the same area and finally a piece of the top just came off! I must add that I didn’t drop the bottle and it hasn’t seen any form of physical shock.

But I do wear lipstick almost everyday which would be a very disappointing reason for my water bottle to rot away like that.

I contacted Bol.com from which I bought the bottle but they said this item has no warranty, despite what is said on Dopper’s website. Then I sent an email to Dopper’s customer service yesterday and will update this review as the process unfolds.

Edit 18 December:
The customer service got back to me and immediately asked for my address to sent me a new cup and mentioned that mine must have been sent from a wrong batch. She didn’t give me any hassle and I’m both shocked and pleasantly surprised at this customer service. Will update when I actually receive the new cup.

Yesterday I already received my new cup and I am very satisfied with Dopper’s smooth and hassle-free customer service! An example for all other corporations!

Horrible rip-off!

Horrible rip-off!
I spent an hour or more filling a file and then when I wanted to download it, a payment wall came in! Out of desperation, I wanted to pay but it wouldn't let me pay via Paypal or anything besides a credit card. if that is not fishy and stupid, I don't know what is. Don't waste your time with this dishonest company.

Horrendous!!

Horrendous!!
These scammers have been overcharging people since October and cashing 3 months worth of gas money off their accounts in one go leaving people with financial issues right before Christmas! They also claim my boyfriend who has been with me in my house for half of the December, has spent more than 300m3 gas in this months!!!! Funny enough, the two of us in my house have spent only 36m3 gas in December!
Stay away from this company and if you have connections, bring their scams to news and national and international attention. They need to go down.

Horrible experience, feels like scamming

My boyfriend ordered a plant to be delivered to my door and paid for it directly.

First of all, they delivered a faulty plant that already had very tiny bugs on several leaves and if I wasn’t super cautious, it would have contaminated my other plants. The leaves were saturated with chemical shine to hide the sick condition of the plant.

After a couple of weeks I received a threatening invoice saying that I haven’t paid the bill yet and this is their last warning!!! Of course my boyfriend had paid for it before it was even delivered. So I discussed it with him and he called them and they said that they will straighten things out and apologized.

Yesterday I received another mail from COEO Incasso including a fine on top of the original bill!! This is so disrespectful and just stupid that you are unable to do the basic thing that you’re supposed to do: deliver plants, get your money and leave people alone afterwards!

Not only am I never going to buy from you ever again, but I’m sharing this story with the entire student association and vegan association that I’m part of, so you will realize that you can’t disrespect and embarrass people like this and get away with it.

People, if you want to surprise someone, DO NOT ORDER HERE. Because you will be embarrassed when they receive warnings and threats afterwards.

Update: it’s been 2.5 month since my review (it’s now January 5th) and I’m still getting incasso letters asking me to pay more money! Despite multiple calls and emails, these scam artists keep disturbing us with their letters. At this point I consider this racial discrimination and intimidation and I may have to take further action in this direction. I wasn’t even the one who ordered the item, but they chose to intimidate me instead of my boyfriend who ordered and paid for it.
Btw, I threw away their faulty plant after it infected a couple of my plants.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Generally ok, but needs improvements :)

I think the only thing that Homerr needs to improve asap are the occasional lost or wrongly-delivered parcels. The whole environmental aspect os great (if it’s not a scam and green washing technique), so if they solve these issues, then it would be a great shipping agency.
I have used Homerr so many times I have lost track. There only has been one time that my parcel was delivered to the wrong location and they never fixed it and requested me to go to that location. But all the other experiences were positive.

Oh also, I wish the parcels would be kept in the delivery points for 14 days, in case of long vacations or other circumstances.

Review of DPD Pakketservice

Next day delivery is a lie!

I ordered a bag from bol.com and unfortunately their partner worked with DPD. On the website it said that it will be delivered the next day (Thursday). Then I didn’t receive it and instead got an email stating it will be delivered on Friday. Again no package on Friday and I checked bol.com and the state of my order was shown as “delivered”!!
Of course there was no track and trace option available which is what you expect from DPD and their terrible service.
I contacted bol.com and they said they have received no info on the delivery from the company!
In the weekend, again, I received nothing and finally on Monday I got my package, 4 days after it was supposed to be delivered, and I only bought from there cause I needed the bag immediately (travel bag).
And the post person had the music in his truck so loud the whole neighborhood enjoyed some forceful music in the meantime.
What a shame for bol.com to jeopardize its great reputation especially regarding its fast delivery by working with irresponsible companies.

Don’t buy from companies that work with UPS

How is that even called delivery? How am I supposed to bring that upstairs? Do you people have absolutely no sense of ethics or work responsibility? How do you live with yourselves? Shame on you.

My advice to people: if the product you have your eyes on has to be delivered by UPS, just don’t buy it. You can easily find alternatives.

Do not buy from them

I paid 60 euros extra for delivery and they guy left the heavy air conditioner downstairs and left!!
Sent an email to them and the guy told me to ask my neighbors to help me! Thank you customer service! How about you pay me back my 60 Euros so I can pay that to my neighbor for helping me?
When I finally managed to bring it up, I realized all the styrofoams were already broken and the bottom of the box was torn off and only attached by a packaging band. So I assume the product must be damaged already. I will update my review after using the product. What a waste of money.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

good service, but not delivered on the next day as advertised

I bought a fridge, washing machine, coffee maker, and food processor from Coolblue and never experienced any difficulties. However, I always hear them advertising"buy today, use tomorrow", yet it never was the case for me. On my two orders, I never received my products the next day.

what goes for after-sale service, I haven't experienced anything yet, but if I do need services in that area, I will come and give feedback on how they handled my issue.

I ordered a set of chairs (one selling item) for which I received two emails containing two different order numbers:
YQYNPJXOR#1
XQQJEUZNU#5
But I received no tracking code or possible delivery date. On the website under my order, it says delivery between 48-72h! But it has been 5 days and I don’t even have a tracking code.
I sent them a message via the website but no reply. I only ordered because of the delivery date, but apparently, that was just a trap.
I’m from the Netherlands.

After my complaint here, they responded and after a few days I received an email with a tracking link which was not very helpful, but at least I knew my package was on the way. Finally today I received it via PostNL. Haven’t opened yet to see everything is included. I will do an update on that later. Thanks Sklum for taking action and thanks Trustpilot for providing this opportunity.

Update after opening the package:
Fortunately nothing was missing from the package. Assembly was medium/easy. And the chairs look exactly like their picture and the quality is also as expected. So despite the complications with the delivery, I’m happy with the end result.
