Never again

Pre booked a car to pick me up after a concert on Saturday night.
At the scheduled time I rang to check it would be arriving soon. Was told it was one minute away.
Ten minutes later I rang again and was told they would be dispatching a driver shortly - a half hour wait.
By this time it was midnight.
I’d pre booked the car for 11.30 pm.
I ended up cancelling and having to make my way home alone by public transport- the very thing I’d tried to avoid by pre booking a car.
What makes it worse is that this the 4th time I’ve pre booked a car that wasn’t dispatched until I rang to say it was late.
They don’t care at all either.
Used to be so reliable but definitely won’t be using again, and would recommend you don’t rely on them if you don’t want to be left stranded.

Overall Impression is not good

I wish I’d read the one star reviews before buying a Hotpoint Washing Machine.
I have an almost identical problem to an earlier poster.
My machine is less than 3 months old. The motherboard has completely failed - the machine is now dead, after a few days of randomly turning itself on and off, and shutting down completely mid cycle.
I’m currently waiting for a visit to replace the motherboard, which will be over a week since I reported the fault.
Absolutely no apology from Hotpoint, for a faulty product, and no move by them to present a good customer care image by getting the product repaired or replaced very quickly. It’s very poor for a product to completely break down when it’s relatively new; you’d expect the company concerned would be keen to maintain customer trust.
The overall impression is that they’re not really bothered.
I wouldn’t buy anything else made by Hotpoint.

Quite good on the whole

Delivery is very quick, and I’ve noticed a real improvement in processing returns recently too.
I’ve not given 5 stars because one of the tops I ordered smelt so strongly of perfume when I opened it, that I felt it must have been worn.
Went to try it on yesterday and spotted a big make up stain on it, so it seems I was right; am now having to return it,

Beware when making online returns!

Returned an item to them. Tracking says they received it on 29/1 and are working on a refund.
Almost a month later and still no refund.
Have chased them and they say they are “investigating”
This isn’t the first issue I’ve had when I’ve ordered clothing from them.
Never again!

Delivery Instructions not followed

The parcel has been left with a neighbour several doors down, despite me asking for it to be left in my porch.
I now have to go and carry it back and it will be a struggle as it’s heavy

Great Customer Service

I made a silly mistake and managed to book theatre tickets for the wrong date.
I contacted LOVEtheatre to see if I could change dates, but expected a negative reply since it was my own fault.
However Trish from LOVEtheatre contacted me within 48 hours to confirm that she’d exchanged the tickets for me.
Such a pleasure to receive good, helpful customer service and it deserves to be recognised when you do get it.

I recently bought a Vertuo machine but…

I recently bought a Vertuo machine but am seriously considering returning it.
I knew that pods had to be ordered direct from Nespresso, I was ok with this as I assumed delivery would be fairly quick.
However my order of 9/3 has not been despatched yet, and reading some of the other reviews here it seems I’ll be lucky to receive it at all.
I can’t use my new machine as I’ve no pods and it doesn’t seem I have any other option of getting any.
It seems my best option is to return the machine and replace it with another brand than I can actually use.
And I don’t use social media so can’t contact customer service - I can’t spend ages on the phone waiting to speak to someone either.
So disappointed.

Poor service, poor quality,

I returned an item by courier over two weeks ago. Had an email thanking me for my return but no refund.
On chasing this up I’m told Next have no record of the return being collected and that they have asked the courier to contact me.
In other words, they don’t believe me.
I’ve since sent proof of return to them and am waiting to hear further, but the fact that they are basically leaving me to chase the courier and seem to have no intention of refunding me unless I can track down what happened to the item is so incredibly shoddy of Next that I’m absolutely done with them.
The quality of goods has steadily declined over the past few years and now the level of customer service has left a bad taste in my mouth as I’m stressing over getting my money back.
I always used Next for the convenience of delivery and return as much as anything else. That’s no longer the case, so I’ll shop elsewhere in future.
