Are British Gas merely incompetent or…

Are British Gas merely incompetent or dishonest?

I have been with them about 9 months and have lost count of how many bills, corrections, changes I have had. It is fairly obvious that their computer system isn't able to perform a simple task - calculate customers bills accurately. What is very strange though is the mistakes are always in their favour.
Do not trust British Gas.

Which review said thry were pretty rubbish too.

The fact is we are all paying the same, might as well use a decent company ie not British Gas.

Always waiting on other meds despite them being freely available at local pharmacies. Very poor service.

Getting worse.....

After loads of bills, which have then been deleted, they have now sent me a bill with £300 for gas and zero for electricity. This is not estimated bills. I think they have a computer system which generates random bills.

Absolutely off the scale terrible…

Absolutely off the scale terrible company. I have received at least 8 bills in 3 months, all of which are corrections and bare no semblance to reality. I think thry have no idea at all what's going on. Bills are just invented.

Absolute scammer. They advertise good deals and never supply. All the good reviews are false. The guys running it are fraudsters, pure and simple.

Do they actually have customer service?

Do they actually have customer service? Some companies have customer service in the UK, some in Europe and some in Asia, Africa or the Philippines. British Gas appear to have none. Spent a month trying to contact them online, by phone, may resort to snail mail. All our agents are busy should be their motto.
On the positive side, their gas seems to burn well.

P30pro. Don't trust Huawei's warrenty.

The P30 pro phone is guaranteed for 30 minutes for a depth of 1.3 metres. I put the phone under water for a couple of minutes to a depth of a few centimetres to take a few pics. Pics great. All OK. 5 hours later the screen goes.
This phone is 6 months old so contacted Huawei.
They say the phone is good to take images under water. But, if water gets in, it is proof that I did something wrong or the water wouldn't have got in.
When I said this assumes zero manufacturering defects, they said, "well, yes"
Huawei cannot be trusted on this. It makes me wonder whether I should ever have trusted their guarantees that the CCP cannot have access to my data.
Update.
Phone fixed and returned by DHL. However, the parcel was very light. I videoed the opening. They sent the box and no phone. Will update, but if I hadn't videoed they'd have no doubt denied all knowledge.

ANYONE BUT SPARK ENERGY

NEVER NEVER NEVER use Spark Energy or Oppo or any company associated with them.
I have paid off the bill, I have the proof on my bank account, you can send them emails, they will never answer, you can phone them, it will have no effect. Now they have referred me to a debt collector for a debt I can prove is paid. NEVER NEVER NEVER USE thEM.

I was dealing with them during covid

I was dealing with them during covid. Unlike Scottish Power (who just seemed to close up shop and turned the lights off as they went), they'd transferred their customer service to Bosnia. I spoke to several agents all of whom spoke very good to excellent English, and seemed to know what they were doing.
Their prices are excellent, and the only energy company I know who have sent me an email after I joined to say they've cut the prices I'd already agreed to!
Thus far excellent.
