I am fed up now of leaving one star reviews in order to try and get someone to resolve an issue that has been going backwards and forwards for 16 months!!
When you have a problem, Solidor throw their +\-5mm tolerance (and yes you are reading that right ) blame the installer, and then do nothing to help
I have a very expensive door that is utter rubbish, and all I get is a big standard response on Trustpilot so it appears that my issue is being taken seriously when it is not
If I could give a zero I would based upon the product and the aftercare / service you never seem to get
FYI even the installer does not know how to do what Solidor say needs doing so they and I are at a total loss !!!!

No regard for existing loyal customers when it comes to renewal
Means you have to start again to get best deal which in the current competitive climate is really poor
Re the AA reply I did phone them 3 times to ask for a sensible renewal .... didn’t get anywhere

My door was fitted and warped letting rain and wind in - 12 months later Soildor have been to assess, they state it is within the tolerance of 5mm !! ..so won't do anything
The company that fitted the door argue the issue is with the door, so when no one owns up, I end up with a £2.5k door that is useless.
Would I buy one again - NO
Would I recommend - NO
I am expected to live it - YES
Thoroughly fed up with the whole scenario really
UPDATE:
Owen from Solidor has been in touch, Solidor engineer visit along with installer visit required to hopefully investigate the issue further and I’ll hope remedy the problem

An update.....
My issue / compliant has been ongoing for 6 months
All Solidor do is quote they work to a +\- 5mm tolerance and it appears nothing else matters to them
Doesn’t help me when the door is twisted, let’s water in and is generally worse than the cheap UPVC door it replaced - you might see lots of comments from Solidor asking for more info etc, but trust me they don’t get back to you or actually do anything about the problem
My reviews are genuine, I know Solidor read them so ‘SOLIDOR please give customers the service and warranty you promise and make out you rate so highly of’
Let’s see..... when they sort my problem I’ll re rate them !!!!!

Can’t give no stars sadly!!
This firm are involved with Solidor - they apparently receive the bare door slabs and then make them up and supply out to window fitting firms
They have no customer service, they don’t care about a warranty issue and are the biggest bunch of cowboys going - if you want a composite door, firstly check it doesn’t come via this company and secondly don’t buy a Solidor !!

So I did put a review on here with 1 star hoping Solidor themselves would come to the rescue re my front door warping !
Alas it appears not as I am told a tolerance of up to 5mm is acceptable, and the door seal is designed to take up any expansion and contraction ...
That’s all great but my door is about 6mm off my door seal, so it appears you are expected to put up with the wind and rain coming in!!!!!
Really not impressed with the product and definitely currently not impressed with the warranty / customer service !!

Front door never been right from day one
Fitting company been out door is warped and so far neither them or Solidor want to sort a replacement !
The door has been adjusted every which way it’s still terrible and I’m rapidly loosing patience with a front door that cost over £2k because I thought they were the best .....
E mailed Solidor as a last resort fingers crossed they restore some of my faith in them
