Must do better!!!

Took out contract in july 2020, store staff good, got the phone I wanted, but customer services are a nightmare, cant get through to change dd collection date.

2 hrs on hold, gave up in the end....They cant blame covid now... just bad service and considering the amounts we pay.....

Appalling in every way

Purchased the shark pet hoover in July, only used a few times as ive not been here. I have hard floors downstairs with rugs. And carpets upstairs.

Its rubbish. Pet hair all over the wood floor despite using boost function, and attachments, chews up rugs, so you have to turn it all off and start again. Makes a loud sound like a tractor, for a 400 quid hoover its pretty poor.

Called customer service. Who advised cant return as out of 30 day cooling off period, guy on the phone not really interested, asked my options. Apparently have none!! So I am stuck paying £60 a month for a piece of junk that does sod all!!

Avoid shark at all costs!

Not great

I ordered a watch strap on the website, I assumed it was an American company and it would be coming from there. First strap sent didn’t fit my watch, and had to send a video and pictures to prove it, then a second one was promised to be sent but never arrived.

In the end requested a refund, which was not forthcoming, so had to send a forceful email, which did get me a refund.

I do not recommend this company, seems to be a bit deceptive.

Satisfactory, some delivery issues

Ordered a dishwasher. Product is okay, delivery is lacking. 2 gents turned up and when I asked if they had face masks to put on before entering they said no.
I didn’t let them into the house, they delivered to my doorstep.

Considering we are in a pandemic why are delivery drivers not wearing masks?! Not good at all, I even had the decency to put on a mask before opening the door!!
All other delivery drivers I’ve had have worn masks. Very disappointing.

Update: I have been contacted by the manager Jason Clark, who was just as disappointed as me regarding my comments around delivery of my item. He expressed his deep regret and explained that the company had invested a lot of money into PPE and assured me that this was a one of issue. I was told the delivery drivers will be spoken too. And as a gesture of goodwill Jason has refunded my delivery fee. I am satisfied, and will give them a second chance.
Therefore my original star rating was two I have increased to three.

Cheap / tacky and ugly

Ordered a coffee table and rug.

Coffee Table - arrives a day early, however instructions sent to construct confusing and complicated, and glass not secure as the little suckers sent are not capable of keeping weight of glass in place. Very dangerous.


Rug - Arrived a day late, paid quite a lot for the round rug, it arrived poorly packaged, and upon unrolling it is nothing like its picture, it’s a cheap awful looking thing, made of what looks to be cheap crap material, very disappointed since I payed close to £80 for a small 60cm rug.

I won’t be returning to wayfair again.
Products are inferior and I am very unimpressed, dreading to try and arrange returns....

Terrible!

Terrible!

I ordered a coffee table Sunday via the website, not heard anything since, so emailed to enquire where they were up to, get an email back today it’s out of stock and not due into the warehouse until mid August.... (maybe) very vague !

They really need to put a note on the website if something is not in stock! What a waste of bloody time! Have requested a refund but doubt I’ll get that, glad I paid on credit card and protected under section 75.

I would double check your item is in stock before ordering!

I wish I had read the reviews on here prior to ordering, company seems very slap dash, and the email that I had was the worst composed email I have ever had from a customer service department, the use of English was appalling and it was full of spelling mistakes, which says it all really 🤦🏻‍♀️

** I would like to add, I read a handful of the five star reviews, and if you read them they are promoting reviews, words like fits in well / quick delivery / wide range on website**

That leads me to believe they are all fake.... as every positive review poster has only ever left one review which is for them!!

I have reported to trust pilot for review!!! Disgraceful

Totally fed up with begging adverts in…

Totally fed up with begging adverts in every commercial break, yes I understand people suffer all round the world, but shoving it down our throats is not going to want me make a donation, starts at £3 a month next ad is £5 when ad I saw was £15 a month!!! Really? We need this rubbish every break time.

The standard of programming on all itv channels has dropped, and repeats are up.

Shame itv used be be my go to channel!

Smart shop app of wonderful!

I downloaded that new app SmartShop, and used it for the first time today, made the shop so much quicker, grabbing items, putting them into the bag as I went. Go to the till scanned QR code, paid and off I went. I was very impressed. Made life so much easier. Well done Sainsburys!

Easy Ordering, competitive prices

Just ordered a medical bracelet, went for the heavyweight one. Ordering process was straightforward, like the idea that medical personnel can call for your medical conditions, unfortunately I have to many to list on the bracelet. Today is Sunday; so I’m hoping to get it mid week.

The years membership to the phone line was £12.95 what a bargain, and the heavyweight bracelet was a good price too, was able to select my size.

Really looking forward to it arriving, should have ordered one long ago.

Will update when it arrives!!

Just joined SSE, and had a Lovely conversation with a really helpful lady. She took my opening meter readings, sorted out a few other things, didn’t feel rushed, and she was pleasant and very efficient.

I waited about 3 mins to get my call picked up, I’m very happy with SSE. Long may it continue.

Online shopping experience

Been waiting for what seems ages for three items, for some reason my order was split into two deliveries, one item with DHL and the other two items with Hermes. ( both carriers have terrible reviews and Hermes is just awful)
surprised they use such shocking couriers!

Today the dhl order arrived, but worse for wear, but product in tact and not damaged, then I also had 1 item of 2 delivered by Hermes, even though order shows two items should have been delivered.

Tried to call help line, guess what it’s closed!
So sent an email to them, got a response saying it could be a considerable amount of time to get a response! So I guess I’ll
Have to do a charge back on my credit card, since they clearly screwed up.

I won’t be ordering from dunelm again, I’ll just go to store, they clearly can’t organise a session in a brewery. Very bad for such a big company, but I’m sure they will blame covid, companies usually do.


Edit: had a telephone call from a nice lady called Gina, she explained what had happened, and now my last item has arrived, so have changed review from 1 to 3 star. Gina did say only a handful of people in the office so might take a while to get back to you, if you email in, but they seem to be getting back to people.

RIP off merchants!

Recently applied to swap to British has, then got a letter asking for a deposit before they will provide service!
Bit of a panic so checked credit scores with all the credit reference agencies and I have a very good score!
So British Gas, is it because you won’t make any money out of me through late charges!
Well you can stuff your service, I’ll go elsewhere. Plenty more gas and electric suppliers!!
