Clearly not bothered about customer satisfaction!

Not happy that my order has been cancelled twice now due to a technical error on their end. Customer service did not have the decency to call me and are demanding me via email to call them to make my order instead.

Update:

After seeing the response from unbeatable blinds, I must say they are absolute liars! They can’t take accountability and to conceal their poor customer service they have made claims that they attempted to call me before cancelling both of my orders. They did not and had they done, this would have been mentioned in their emails that “they’ve tried to reach out, please call back”, but it was not. Not once, but twice, on two separate occasions. Would definitely avoid this deceiving business.

No quibble refund!

In awe of my customer service experience at Laura James. I ordered a coffee table that was supposed to be delivered by DHL. DHL left it in the lobby, which they shouldn’t have done and I didn’t find the parcel when I checked. I then opened a chat with Laura James and to my surprise they phoned me to discuss this within less than 5 minutes which made my life so much easier. Not long after I received a confirmation of the refund which came into my PayPal instantly. The colleague exceeded expectations and was very efficient and supportive throughout the whole process. I’m very impressed. I would use again and I’d recommend this business as they are reliable and responsible when facing any issues with your order.

Poor quality, poor shipping, poor customer service, poor in every way!

I would have liked to have been the first to leave a positive review, as this website was created for a good cause. However, I can only leave a negative review based on the experience that I’ve had and the lack of response received by the company. I received only part of my order and not the rest. The shipping is horrendous, the items came from China and are extremely poor quality. It states on their website that the order comes with a returns sheet, which I did not receive. I have been contacting them numerous times via two platforms and still have not received a response. If this continues, I’d have to open a case with PayPal in order to claim my money back as I spent £101.00 for items that aren’t even worth £20 in total. I recommend avoiding this business because if you have any issues you will not receive any response and you’ll struggle to get your money back.

Extremely poor service!

I would have liked to be the first to leave a positive review for Nizali. However, unfortunately due to my experience I’ve had to leave a negative review. I purchased from here due to the fact that I was looking for both a Lebanon and a Palestinian metal flags which are similar. As I couldn’t find these anywhere else, I bought them from Nizali regardless of the price and high shipping costs of £36. I received my order a week late and have requested that they at least refund me the shipping costs. Never received any reply after contacting them 4 times via two platforms. I would not recommend purchasing from here because if you have any issues, you’d receive no response.

Survey is a scam!

I made an order and a while after receiving my order, I received an email asking me to fill out a survey and get a £10 gift card sent to me. This was never sent, therefore I contacted them via WhatsApp with screenshots and they were able to respond with the fact that they are unable to see images and I that I would need to send my enquiry without images. However, when I did that and they realised that they had scammed me and have no response, they continuously sent me an automated message “Our Customer Services team are busier than usual, you will be transferred to an agent as soon as possible. Please expect a delayed response. Rest assured we will reply to you as quick as possible so there is no need to send any further messages as this may cause a further delay in getting back to you. If you haven't already, please provide your order number and the email address on the account used to place the order. Thank you for your patience” and never got back to me. Don’t bother wasting your time.

Beware of this dishonest, unprofessional and irresponsible business!

I made an order and requested to return it back in June. The supplier who was selling the items through BrandAlley never responded to me or to them and BrandAlley could do nothing to take responsibility and help me to get my money back.

My last resort was to open a dispute with my bank, who credited my account with my money in August (2 months later). Once BrandAlley found this out they then started chasing me by themselves, pretending to suddenly be helpful and deceiving me about going ahead and sending me a full refund and arranging to come and collect the items. This was all a sudden “act” so that they can have some evidence to show to the bank after having the nerve to challenge my dispute, whilst knowing that I had been struggling to communicate with their supplier, arrange a return and get my money back for months.

I have sent all of my correspondence and evidence to my bank proving what I said to be true and I know that the bank will see their lies and close the case in my favour. However, I just find it extremely unfair and unjustifiable that this case has to now be prolonged even more than it initially was just because BrandAlley has decided to lie and disagree with my dispute after witnessing the truth, instead of admitting the actions of their supplier.

To BrandAlley: Don’t even bother responding to my review with your fabricated statements, as you have done previously. This review is an additional review after your most recent actions and a warning to my fellow buyers.

Outstanding service!

Super impressed with the quick acceptance of my documents and the regular updates via email. I received my plates the day after approval and dispatch without needing to pay for express delivery which was great! I have to say the plates were packed really well and the sticky pads which come with the fixing kit free of charge seem extremely durable, unlike other ones I’ve used before. Because of this I’ve gone ahead and made a second order for my new car’s registration plates within less than a week. Without a doubt you get your moneys worth with Aplates. I’d definitely use again and highly recommend.

The only feedback I’d give to Aplates would be to improve the submission of the documentation on the website, as every time I was submitting my documents it looked like an error message was coming up that you are to upload a maximum of 1 item under each category and I was doing just that. However, it wasn’t clear if the documents were actually being attached or not. The good thing is that Aplates have given two separate methods for the submission of documents, so I attempted both and hope that it reaches them one way or another without any problems.

Totally rubbish experience at BrandAlley!

I ordered two rugs from a supplier on BrandAlley. When I received them, I requested a return the next day due to them not suiting my bedroom. It took over a month for the seller to respond to me requesting my phone number which they already have on the order. Since responding with my contact details, I still have not heard back from the seller about them sending a courier to collect the items in order to issue me my refund.

The policy states you’re eligible to return your items within 28 days. I’ve spent almost a month and a half just requesting a return.

I contacted BrandAlley numerous times who just make false promises of getting back to me on the same day and that they will solve it with the supplier as soon as possible. However, they do not get back to me and the same way the supplier doesn’t respond to me, they don’t respond to the messages from BrandAlley either (messages sent from BrandAlley on behalf of the customer or by the customer can all be seen on the account which is how I’ve been able to notice that the supplier doesn’t respond to either of us).

BrandAlley should have a procedure in place and be able to intervene and process refunds if the suppliers who are selling via their website do not respond like this. It’s totally unacceptable and such a disappointment considering I chose to order from here due to all the good reviews on Trustpilot.

I have now had to go through the trouble of escalating this to my bank, which no one should have to do. I will not be purchasing from here again or recommending BrandAlley to anyone.

Update:

After posting my Trustpilot review, BrandAlley requested more information about my order and has since edited their response to my review saying that they have chased this up with the supplier. However, having a look at my thread as mentioned, no one has sent any additional messages to the supplier and as mentioned before the supplier does not reply to neither me or the BrandAlley team. I have claimed back my refund from the Bank. Avoid the hassle!

Disappointed with the condition of my item and the communication

I ordered from Oak World a couple of months ago and was pleased that my bookcase came fully assembled on delivery which saved me the trouble of putting it together myself. However, a couple of weeks ago I went close up to the bookcase and noticed permanent marker covering some damages and as I started inspecting it, I noticed more and more flaws and damage everywhere.

I contacted the store who advised me to fill out an online form and the following day I received a response requesting for images. I sent these over but have since been ignored for two weeks. I attempted to phone in again and was given excuses that my emails were all received but not the images and that the person who responded to me was on annual leave. That’s when I thought to ask about how the item should have been delivered and found out that the item was supposed to have been flat packed and realised that I had been sent either a returned piece of furniture or one for display.

Since I spoke to the colleague last week I’ve sent out another email this time converting the images into an pdf file and chasing the situation. I’m still awaiting a resolution. My final attempt to reach out to Oak World would be through my Trustpilot review, otherwise I’d then have to escalate it with my bank.

Communication is terrible and the trouble you face if you have a problem really isn’t worth it, so I would not recommend purchasing from here.

THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL COMPANY EVER DEALT WITH!

I had high hopes for this store but I feel so let down. I tried to make an order several amount of times and it wasn’t working. Registering with Bullion Giant and making a payment deemed to be so difficult. In the end, I chose to “pay securely via my bank app” (this meant a bank transfer to bullion giant as a beneficiary). My money was taken out of my bank account and the website stated that the payment had failed. No authorisation or confirmation was sent to my email because an account wasn’t even created. The order didn’t go through although my money was taken. I tried to contact via chat but I was told that the team are closed until Tuesday due to Easter bank holiday. However, I did eventually receive an email from a colleague saying that no order was found. I had to phone my bank to get the payment reversed and luckily in this case I was able to. Had it gone out into pending transactions and not as a faster payment, it would’ve caused me even more trouble. I doubt I’d be using this website going forward.

Update:

Bullion Giant violated Trustpilot guidelines by requesting me to remove my negative review. Following my refusal, the company wrote a response to my review that was illegal and harmful and threatened me that they would go to Trustpilot (which they didn’t do). I was then the one who decided to open a case with Trustpilot to defend myself and my reputation following their slander. Trustpilot conducted an investigation using all the evidence provided to them and temporarily hid my review, along with the companies response. Trustpilot concluded the investigation with:

“Following our previous communication and a thorough investigation into the company’s reply to your review, we would like to inform you that their response has now been removed as it was found to contravene our guidelines on defamation. The reply is no longer visible to the public.

Additionally, we’re pleased to confirm that your review has been reinstated and is now shared on the platform once again. Your experience is one that resonates with many others, and we truly appreciate your contribution in helping others make informed decisions.”

The business has since posted a second response after the first one was removed by Trustpilot. Everything they have responded with is a contradiction to their initial response and how they dealt with the situation. They are dishonest and fake, I would recommend avoiding them at all costs.

We understand you were expecting contact on Tuesday, and we're sorry if this caused any confusion. We genuinely thought reaching out earlier would have been helpful and appreciated.

Long wait times and horrible customer service!

Disgusted by the lack of support and empathy by the customer service assistant whom I spoke with today. I ordered two items, one which said it would be ready for delivery within 1-3 days and one which would be ready for delivery within 12-14 weeks. It’s been almost a week since my order and I hadn’t received an update for the item which was supposed to arrive first, therefore I rang in and was told that even though there is a timeframe when adding items to your basket, the terms and conditions mention that even if one item had less waiting time you’d have to wait for the full order to be ready before you receive your items (which I was unaware of). This is such a ridiculous condition for a big company like this and if customer service cared about customer loyalty and had some compassion, they would have arranged for delivery or done something, considering I paid almost £1000 for both items. All of this to save shipping costs, which by the way you pay for. I am now considering cancelling my order, mainly because of the rudeness which I received. I would not recommend or purchase from here again, especially if you are in a hurry for one or any of your items.

When placing the order online, our website does state in the Terms and Conditions that if more than one item of furniture is purchased, they will be grouped into one delivery. This is designed to minimize disruption to our customers as well as reduce environmental impact.

However, we do understand in some cases customers may prefer items to be delivered separately. We are more than happy to arrange this, however, an additional delivery charge would apply to cover the extra cost.

We always do everything we can to keep our delivery charges as fair as possible and in fact only pass on a small portion of the actual cost to our customers. We understand this may be frustrating and do value your feedback as it helps us to continue to improve.

Very competitive prices. I purchased black and colour canon cartridges for about £20 cheaper than what you’d get elsewhere and received 50 pieces of photo paper with the package. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE!

Elbec has sent me a shed that I wouldn’t even pay £10 for. The shed was all dented, scratched and damaged, as if it had been used and returned. I paid £350, almost double the cost of the shed for the installation, not knowing that this would be the case. When I reached out to them for a full refund, they were expecting me to take it apart and send it back or for them to send “parts” when the whole shed was absolutely destroyed and I had sent them the proof of it. I have now had to open a case with PayPal to get my money back because this is absolutely appalling. I don’t recommend this website at all if you want good quality, your moneys worth and good customer service.

Worst courier!

I absolutely hate the disrespect of Evri drivers and Evri itself. They have no respect for people’s parcels and they are too lazy to deliver your parcel to your door or follow instructions. One day, I waited for the driver to confront him and I caught him as he threw my parcel aggressively onto the ground. He had no reason as to why he never delivered it to my door or why he was throwing it in that way and literally had nothing to say about his actions. I requested for him not to do that anymore and to bring the parcel up to me when I open the buzzer for him or put the parcel outside my door on the first floor when I am not in, as anyone could take my parcel from the area he was throwing it at. He ignored me and continues to do the same up until now.

Evri sends me an email every time to rate my delivery and every single time I give them a one star and make a comment about this and they have not and probably will never acknowledge this and feed it back to their drivers, so it’s just useless.

I would personally never use them as a courier service and would never recommend anyone to use them, but sometimes it’s out of your control as it’s the business you purchase from who have partnered with Evri.

Incompetence at its finest…

Otto Car doesn’t even deserve a one star. I’ve been having issues since the start of my rental, constantly having to call in and send emails and I’m now at the point where I’ve made a complaint and still they don’t have the courtesy to communicate the outcome with me. The customer service is absolutely disgusting. Returning my vehicle to them as soon as my notice period is over and also escalating my complaint until I get the right resolution.
