Review of Bandai Namco Entertainment
Big fan of their games, but the support team were useless. I was missing a limited edition item from a vinyl order, and they made me unseal the record (ruining its value) to “prove” it was missing. After weeks of delays, they admitted the mistake and offered a measly 1,000 Club! points – which turned out to be worth pennies. When I asked for a fairer resolution, they refused, saying the case was closed.
Review of eBay
EBay don’t disclose import fees so Be so careful buying internationally. It depends what country you’re buying from apparently. They don’t disclose or warn during the check out. You may get stung by hefty additional import fees. There is naff all they’ll do about so you’ll stick with the fees. Not covered by their stupid buyer fees program (which is joke anyway). One more reason to ditch eBay in favour of Vinted.
Review of Camsure Home Surveys
Booked in with Katie Darnley and it was probably the most pleasant/painless sales call I've had in my life. The fees were more accommodating than I was expecting and so was able to commit to the survey there and then. Good stuff.

Review of Discogs
Beyond disappointed with Discogs customer service; it took 30 days of hounding and complaining on social media before I got a response to a dispute.
The response? The same generic email/reply they sent me 30 days earlier which I'd responded to and was ignored.
Because the platform is so poorly run, your customers are left vulnerable to scammers. In my case, to do with international sellers not paying customs. I'm not going into detail, but it is disgusting and it's allowed to continue.
You guys have got to take better care of your customers. This is unacceptable.

Review of Mister Spex
When using the home trial, I was charged for 4x designer frames despite successfully returning the items. Mister Spex held on to around £500 of my money for 2 weeks which was inconvenient to say the least. No money at all was supposed to leave my account at all.
I raised the matter with customers services and found myself having to chase them for updates as their communications did not inspire confidence. I found the process uncomfortable enough to ask my bank whether I could pursue the matter through them if it came to it (the answer was “yes”).
I have now received my money back, however, no compensation was offered. In fact, they said they would cancel my actual glasses order, but ended up processing it anyway.
Given the amount of money at stake, I would advise against using the home trial service.
Review of Beer52
One of those annoying subscription services that gets you on a deal price, then insist you phone to cancel and keep you on hold for hours making it hard (so far impossible) to do so. You'll get better / cheaper beers from Tesco.
I couldn't find a Google My Business account for them to leave a review. I imagine they don't want REAL reviews to appear in search engines ;)
PS I write this while on sitting on hold after 45 mins.
Review of Bishopsgate Law
Really pleased with the conveyancing services received from the Bishopsgate team. They've been super-helpful at every stage of the process: great comms, minimal jargon and ultra-responsive. Some solicitors I have employed in the past could learn a thing or two from them. I'll be coming back to them on my next purchase, for sure.
