They are one of my favourite companies…

They are one of my favourite companies to help me with my needs. I have some difficulties with my condition, and they make my life easier. Everyone knows how that can be sometimes hard to find the right place. So I'm surely seeking to write them once again. They work very professionally and responsible from A to Z. Very serious company and I have been across many. Definitelly recomending.

Max was very professional from start to end. Respected my opinion and my property. Respect to him. Whish all do so well like he did. And he did superb great job. Clear, fast, clean, no time or words wasted. Best engineer visited my house yet so far.

The dodgy company I hooked up.

To good to be truth. As it isn't!

I’m disappointed with Rebel Internet's **24/7 customer support** claim. While the connection might be reliable, the support team has been unhelpful when I needed assistance. I’ve called twice and both times, the representatives couldn’t provide any answers or specifics. Instead, they passed my details to tech support, with no clarity on when I would hear back—not even a rough estimate of the day or time.

It seems dodgy, as if they don’t actually offer true **24/7 support**, but rather play games with vague promises to customers. This lack of transparency and responsiveness has left me unable to plan my time or get the rest I need, and it feels misleading compared to their advertised "always people, no bots" promise.

Additionally, I discovered that you **cannot set up Rebel Internet without using the “HomePass” app**, which wasn’t clearly mentioned upfront. You are forced to create another account with “Plume,” which works only on Android or iPhone. Essentially, you **must have a smartphone** to get online. Even when you log into the router, everything is **locked, blocked, and tightly restricted**, leaving no freedom for personal configuration. It seems as though they’re **monitoring, analysing, and controlling data**—and also **using it for marketing purposes**.

On top of that, they **charge you upfront**, a **week or two before they even send the router** or the official internet start date. This kind of practice feels unfair, as customers are paying for a service they haven’t even received yet.

Called 3rd time to ask about cancellation, and they could not provide any info about that either. Neither tech support nor whoever can answer my questions will work tomorrow over the bank holiday.
Looks like these new "We will take care of you" companies are appearing every 2-3 years and working with "Plume". Not sure if they all are still ON the market as IP. Less than 500 reviews yet mostly positive YET.

Regarding HomePass, as our Technical Support team confirmed with you yesterday, you are 100% able to set-up your Internet without using the App. Many of our customers do not have smart phones or use apps, so we have ensured everyone can set-up without having to use the app. As you requested to use your own Router, the team immediately sent you your PPPoE credentials to authenticate on the network.

Not Europe for sure. Feels Russia yet.

That is a very primitive post. Still Russia there. And they charge you anyways, you fill out the declaration by yourself or they do you still pay them, also you have to fill and pay in any way for anything. anything..... absolutely time and money wasters. Also after you fill in and pay you still have to go to the post to collect it. for any worth of parcel.

purchased game as deluxe pack but it is DLC alone

I purchased the game as a deluxe pack but after 2 days of waiting for the order to be processed, I finally found out that it was a gift which wasn't said at first and then even better, when I started following instructions looked like it was only DLC without the base game. so what deluxe pack is it? It's just DLC alone.!!!!

From 5 star to 1 dodgy sellers

I'm loyal to Dell love it's products, when receiving not faulty ones :D I have a big history with dell and mostly not positive, very negative. Dell made over 3 milions deb in my credit acc. Have to call many times until those useless on the phone do something right. Had to cross a hell. But finally I received amaizing service a person who helped me to enjoy dell overally is Sravanthi T. She is easy to co-operate for personal or even business purchases, not only sales questions got filled up. (until I left possitive review and then ended her kindness) Thanks for her firsts 2orders I received fair discounts, but also both orders were with faulty products. So not sure how happy Im about it. Definitely not happy for the faulty laptops, not happy that after positive 5* she became different person. She made discount upto 5£ only for 2 laptops few pounds! and 2 cases order. A week or so on web page were an offer with -150£ on each one. And after few weeks again offer on dell's page appeared with a -100£ on that laptop. She called me to make an offer for me, send email and asked to confirm the order. So basically she wanted to sell me that previaus order I asked, without any extra discount on her name. Cuz she didn't send me new order and never answered me back. So I guess her name and 5* all she needed at that time. Maybe even
helped her to get a better position. And now she is a cloud rider. Intresting if those "special" discounts made over phone and email make impact onto from which sheves you get products. I mean. All orders are faulty. Did work a lot in manafacturing business. And I know that some not very well batch is always good for some sort of cliants or customers. Even if some will be returned for refund or replace. Dell is massive and I guess mess is in factories and they have system to push products. And seems that all support is in india. They speak while animals around like in farm or like in internet shop with lots people in a queue to the same pc. Looks like dell have good system on it's phone supporters too :D

I would give a 0 if could

I would give a 0 if could. This is my last contract. I did tried to cancel, but they do everything to not to let me out without paying for all 18 months left. They not providing stable internet. Speed dropping, signal disappearing, line crashing. Horrible. 250 plan. Speed 30-60 when need most. Crashing. Throttle up to 260 then again around 60. Connection lost in very wrong times. No more April price rise calculation change. To avoid fees, what I should, because they don't provide internet they promised me. So to do that they want do a 24h test, and then send an engineer. They did, they for issue, they sent engineer changed router from hub3 to hub5 (even worsen) issues wasn't solved, asked them to cancel, the problems still there. So they did another 24h test, again? How many times this could carry on? Until they say look, it's good now. An guess. I were out that was from Friday to Saturday so no stress to the internet no loads. And I noticed while they do test they network stretch dramatically increasing and couple days after decrise again. It might be for the test reasons or to achieve positive results. Any way, this looks very dodgy and very again customer, I asked to swap back to hub 4 for a better chip inside, and will do this contract and will never back to virgin ever!!!!!!. I was 7 years at least customer, it's is getting worse and they changed policy so after you sign a contract they can pisz on you how ever when ever and you can just try to waste your time. Like now, I'm waiting an engineer to bring hub4 time slot 12-4. No exact time. Have to sit and wait, have lots of things to do but can't. Absolutely ridiculous company. I rather have 60mbs real speed with brilliant service like EE and stability, than a fake speed crap crashy unstable, most of the time slow even shows high speed, but in reality numbers are different. Most of the time you get 35mbs with m250. 20x times slover and 5x times more expensive then in Europe. They charge as think they can. Speeds are fake, policy is against consumers. After you sign they change a lot and you trapped in. Avoid.

We do not throttle our broadband speeds, so if this is due to a service outage then it would be listed here for you on https://virg.in/servicechecker.

In terms of the speeds that you receive, this is only valid on a wired connection and not on WiFi so this may explain the speeds you're experiencing too.

We would advise however, speaking to us on 150 / 0345 454 1111 if you still need further support.

Doorbell is absolutely pain, all devices rubish

Doorbell is absolutely pain. Rubish. Have active zones just for motion. So if have street at front it will turn on every time anything moves, it captures if movement is in a zone, mostly. And that movement can be anything, reflection Of the light, a shadow, any change of light or color or any movement. The start of capturing is very delayed and cuts off even when there still is a clearly big plan moving person, by the door few seconds before person gets to the house even stings are 9secs continues after last movement. There is other options to choose what camera reacts to in addition of motion. A person, a pet, a package, a car. But even if you set the zones like, only your driveway, it will catch any of that in any part of the view. So the active zone is just. For motion. But it won't work well anyway. It catches ** knows what. Tried many possible combinations. Same **.
Router axe5400: playing nerves too with stability and ranges, on sale offered lots of features, after purchased all features are only with expensive plan. So you left with a very basic functionality. There isn't even free public VPN option. Very dodgy brand. I got few outdoor cameras for Christmas costed 400pounds, can't return. Didn't even tried, as this brand rubish. Will have to sell on eBay, Christmas gift a hole in a pocket. Super.
I gifted tapo robot cleaner to my miss, guess, rubish too. So not clever, not learning track. Picking strange decisions of cleaning everytime, missing spots near the same spot where passing few times. But when going to the kitchen always hit the same wall corners everytime. So no sense of operation. Both doorbell and robot failed without a reason, and needed to be connected and installed in app twice already. Doorbell battery last 2-3weeks

stolen off me 75 pounds off me

The radio signal was crap, bought for 4g wifi router, topped up maxed plan for unlimited data, and received only 1.5ish Mb/s :D so joke. So instantly wrote to support and told them I was not gonna use it as it is useless in my house even says on the coverage map should be good but it clearly wasn't so wanted a refund and I could even send or take it back to shop that sim card and they agreed. But..
Support was useless too, they didn't refund me, and even worse, they charged me again the next month twice. useless bustards, 75 pounds for wasted time and energy. Could say they have stolen my money cuz they said they will refund and pop out me. Absolutely rubbish service.
