Misleading Cashback – Only £15 Tracked Instead of Promised £50

I signed up for a 12-month SIM deal with Talkmobile through Quidco, clearly advertised with £50 cashback. I followed all the terms, paid and was shocked to see only £15 cashback tracked.

This feels like misleading advertising, and Quidco’s support is vague and slow. It’s not the first time cashback has been downgraded after the fact.

If you’re expecting full cashback as advertised, think twice. This platform is starting to feel unreliable.

Over 10 Months and Still No Cashback. Avoid!

It’s been over 10 months since I made a qualifying purchase through Quidco, and I’m still waiting for my cashback. I’ve chased it multiple times with no resolution. The support team keeps giving vague updates or blaming the retailer, but it’s Quidco’s platform that made the promise. Don’t trust this company

BEWARE: SCS Sofas Ignored My Cancellation & Processed an Order I NEVER Confirmed!

TERRIBLE experience with SCS Sofas and want to warn others before they fall into the same trap.

I placed an order, and SCS Sofas emailed me saying they would call to confirm it. On March 3rd, 2025, they called, and I explicitly declined the order because the sofa would not fit. However, instead of respecting my decision, they processed the order anyway, completely ignoring my clear refusal!

When I tried to contact them via phone and email to cancel, they ignored my messages and are now falsely claiming that my order is non-cancellable. This is a clear violation of the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, which protects customers from unfair contract terms.

If you’re considering buying from SCS Sofas, BEWARE! They have a track record of misleading customers and refusing cancellations. There is even a Facebook group called "SCS SOFA & FURNITURE COMPLAINTS" with over 10,500 members dedicated to complaints against them!

I am now fighting for my refund and have had to escalate my case through PayPal, Trading Standards, and I am prepared to take them to Court.

SCS Sofas needs to be held accountable for these unfair business practices! DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY.

Scammers!!

Scam.. raised a claim, 6 months later still shows as processing. Was supposed to received 2 cashbacks from June, now its December and not a single penny to withdraw.. Also there's no way to contact them, no telephone number, when clicking on "Contact Us" you get "Page not found". Absolute joke of a company. Never using them again

Had high hopes before ordering from…

Had high hopes before ordering from them, but the skirting boards I received had lots of dents and dings. Also looked like they been thrown around the warehouse before the primer had a chance to dry. As a result, sawdust was stuck to the paint. I had to sand lots of them before painting over. Based on my experience I cannot recommend them!

Avoid, 11 days later and order still not shipped

Placed an order, 11 days later order still not shipped. . Well, if you put "Free, Fast delivery" on your website, people do expect a fast delivery, you know. Or at least inform/email your customers about any delays! Called them to see why it takes so long, said I just need to wait more ( not explanation whatsoever.. ) Cancelled and requested a refund, will order from someone else who can commit to a fast delivery!

Wish I read the reviews before ordering stuff from them. Be aware that you cant cancel your order after 30 min from placing it.. what kind of policy is that? do you really think this idiotic approach will bring you customers? Cant wait to return the item and never have to deal with you ever again!

Using/selling people's data without…

Using/selling people's data without their consent, you have to submit a form if you want your data removed. When completing that form you have to insert your full address. WHY? why you need my full address for?? I'm 99% sure they sell your data to someone else after that. Seems like they never heard of The UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018

Stay away from them!!

My wife booked 20 lessons in September paying £600+ upfront, it's now January and she finally, was able to book her first lesson, but the instructor tells her she's not booked and rudely hangs up. Customer service is non-existent, they don't answer the phone.. they only answer via Facebook and take forever. They don't provide refunds, also according to their policy if you don't use your lessons within 6 months they're allowed to take all your money. Seems like they purposely drag time so you end up in a situation like this.. now she's crying regretting she got involved with them. Stay away from them and find a school that cares and that answers the dam phone!
