BEWARE: SCS Sofas Ignored My Cancellation & Processed an Order I NEVER Confirmed!
TERRIBLE experience with SCS Sofas and want to warn others before they fall into the same trap.
I placed an order, and SCS Sofas emailed me saying they would call to confirm it. On March 3rd, 2025, they called, and I explicitly declined the order because the sofa would not fit. However, instead of respecting my decision, they processed the order anyway, completely ignoring my clear refusal!
When I tried to contact them via phone and email to cancel, they ignored my messages and are now falsely claiming that my order is non-cancellable. This is a clear violation of the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, which protects customers from unfair contract terms.
If you’re considering buying from SCS Sofas, BEWARE! They have a track record of misleading customers and refusing cancellations. There is even a Facebook group called "SCS SOFA & FURNITURE COMPLAINTS" with over 10,500 members dedicated to complaints against them!
I am now fighting for my refund and have had to escalate my case through PayPal, Trading Standards, and I am prepared to take them to Court.
SCS Sofas needs to be held accountable for these unfair business practices! DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY.
