Overall a bad experience. My 12 year old palm tree was stolen from my front garden and my young son wanted to replace it for me for Christmas. I found gardening express online. A cordyline for £29.99 & delivery before Christmas seemed ok though wasnt keen on £6.99 delivery so foolishly decided the houseplants Id wanted Id buy from them too.
I had problems on my own part because my email inbox was full so I couldn't confirm subscription and received no updates so I deleted 1000s of emails. Still no emails from gardening express. They were responsive on chat but problem wasn't fixed quickly.
They offered pre Christmas delivery. Every day of holiday is precious & I took a day waiting in for delivery. The live tracker showed that the guy was 2 miles down the road from me. But he never arrived. As soon as my delivery slot time ran out the tracker shut off. I was disappointed to take a day staying in before Christmas for a delivery that didn't arrive when I could have been out doing Christmassy things with my son. Then I had to chase gardening express again to find out what was happening with my delivery.
When the plants were delivered the cordyline was lovely (though looked nothing like the image shown). The elephant ears had 4 leaves with a hole or 2 (not great!) & one already chopped off. One of the 4 has already yellowed and died. I ordered 4 plants and some bulbs and none of the plants looked anything like the images online. Perhaps they could add photos showing what a plant can grow into with photos of what they will actually look like at the time of purchase?
But the biggest disappointment to me was the lemon and lime draceana. It arrived with almost every leaf covered in yellow and brown marks. Big ones. Even on the stem. I've spoken to family and gardeners who confirmed to me the plant is diseased. Looks to be yellow spot disease.
No plant should ever have been sent out in this condition! Whoever packed this plant would have seen the state of it. Really bad. To add insult to injury I checked the site and my honest review with photos has not been added to the site- but they accepted my good reviews. I wrote the review very fairly before talking to anyone about the plant so it basically said I wasnt sure if it had been under watered in transit or something more serious. I made no sweeping accusations against gardening express. So why accept my good reviews but not the one that shows the terrible condition they are happy to send out their plants in? Don't send people sick plants if you want good reviews!!!!
Of course I contacted gardening express with photos of the plant leaves close up. But this wasnt good enough for them?! They said they needed photos of the whole plant. After I sent these they offered a refund. What Id hoped for was some kind of advice on what to do with the plant to revive/heal it or preferably a replacement but nothing was offered. So a purchase that was meant to bring positivity after a plant was stolen has left me miserable with a diseased plant that I don't know what to do to help and sad I think it needs destoying. I've read you can use fungicide but nowhere specified what fungicide. The dracaena is a living thing and I'd love to make it right rather than throw it in a bin & I'm disappointed gardening express offered no advice. For these reasons unfortunately my trust in gardeningexpress is extremely low & I really couldn't possibly recommend the company to anyone.

Also given a 2 hour delivery slot. Stayed in on a precious holiday day for this. Latest time was 4.50pm. Checked tracking and realised there was a live tracker. The delivery driver was showing a mile down the road. He didn't arrive. As soon as the delivery slot time had passed the live tracking disappeared.
No one responds to their live chat. Phone line is automated. Only possible contact is email. They claim to answer within 6 hours. But they're not going to do that at 5pm when they're closing up.
I'm really frustrated and disappointed. The item is LARGE. I dont expect my neighbours to want to take it on my behalf another day. As I write I've got no idea what is happening with my item. They stop delivering at 6pm so hes not coming now. No updates or apologies

EDIT- since my review Ive so far just had an auto reply from my email but odd!- when I try to log back in to jasmine silk- my account is temporarily disabled & Im wondering why? Ive bought from this company repeatedly and if theyve locked me out of my account this is customer service at its worst.
I've had to contact jasminesilk and once they respond I will update this review.
I ordered 3 silk pillowcases, a silk eye mask and silk gloves (not the thermal liners- the overnight beauty gloves) all Christmas presents for others.
I've bought their one side silk one cotton pillowcases on many occasions.
I'm really happy with the pillowcases. The silk eye mask however does not feel like true silk. It arrived with the filling lumpy. Bare in places. This couldn't be a comfortable fit or relaxing experience on anyones watch.
The gloves also don't feel remotely like silk. They have a stretch to them also which shows whatever they are made of- there's something man-made in there- which completely takes from the concept of the silk material being moisturising and good for the skin.
I'm really gutted and hope this to be resolved way before Christmas.

Service good- updated on order and delivered in reasonable time. Perfume was an OK price in Black Friday sale but perfume prices in this country are ridiculous at the moment.
It was a blind buy- Ruby Orchid by Viktor & Rolf and not what I was hoping but I've bumped up 1 star because a little 7ml mini of V&R Good Fortune was sent complimentary which is a nice touch- & discovered I prefer it to the perfume I chose!

After delivery I wasnt given an opportunity to review the item or seller as reviews are by invite randomly. I dont agree with this system.
I ordered an expensive drinks flask from America although it wasn't clear to me when I purchased that it was coming ftom USA so that could be made more obvious. The only positive is that delivery was in reasonable time.
The cup is white with a black silhouette of Princess Leia and star wars quotes. I was extremely disappointed that whatever light I look at it in the black isn't true black its greenish. Clearly the printer was low. The seller must also have seen this.
I didn't complain as I didn't want the job of returning to America. it wasn't immediately clear how to feedback either.
For prices and service and poor quality of item- sorry I can't recommend redbubble I'd be in no hurry to purchase from them again. Disappointed customer.

Wanted to write a review as I read reviews before purchasing and there are so few I wasnt sure of the reputation of the company. I would not hesitate to recommend facesilk! 🙂. I ordered an eyemask for my son to give to me for my birthday. It was at a brilliant price in the sale.
I had a query and received a kind & helpful reply from Alyssa. My order arrived promptly in good packaging with a useful zip lock bag.
The eye mask is of gorgeous quality & silk inside too, unlike other eye masks I looked at which were filled with nasty polyester. I look forward to putting it on before bed, feels like luxury. Whether it slows down my crows feet remains to be seen but I'd happily buy from facesilk again. Thank you!

UPDATE- Very asked for my details to sort this out & also to check whether I'm a real customer- like I'd waste my time on this if I wasnt. While I immediately forwarded my account details to them- I'm still waiting for contact back from Very. Not feeling like a valued customer. So my review firmly remains 1 star.
I bought boots and eye cream costing over 100 because I was sent an offer of- spend £100 bnpl and get £30 credit. Without this offer I wouldn't have purchased these items.
Then I received an email saying I wasn't eligible for the £30 credit after Id made the order so I rang Very.The lady was apologetic but unhelpful and after responding to me like she didn't understand me eventually told me the £30 would be credited to my account by October 12th next statement date. This didnt happen. (Phone call was at least 20 minutes long.) I did wonder why she didn't just rectify this mistake there & then.
Consequently I rang Very again where I got a customer service advisor who needs re training. Everything I explained to her she responded with "come again?" As if she didn't understand me. But she certainly did when I said I had a screenshot of the offer. She put me on hold at least 3 times.
Eventually she told me I'd get the credit on my account by 21st October. I requested an email to show this. She gave no apology for me being messed around nor for the inconvenience or stress caused. This phone call was another 30-40 minutes off my life.
I rang Very again yesterday where the woman I spoke to was apologetic and said the £30 would be credited within 30 minutes.
I knew this could be done & I knew the first 2 advisors could have done this. So I can only view my experience as Very being a company who want their advisors not to honour very offers- I spent far too long on each call for there to be any other reason- each woman could have ended the call within a few minutes by just clicking a button but 2 advisors chose not to.
I checked my account and the bnpl still says I owe £107 but balance says £77 so I STILL don't know if the £30 has been credited to me as it should! I've used Very for years because of their pay in installments option. Ive been really discouraged from buying with Very again. Will be taking this up with Resolver as I cant find a way to contact Very in written form. UPDATE- Resolver dont have a process for Very. So its another phone call or an actual letter. In 2022? Where I have no trail of the complaint? Come on Very!

Item sizing or quality can be a bit hit & miss. But also some nice clothes to be had! I rate everything5 for their good customer service. I received a faulty item and they replied with a return code & also a follow up email. Wish they did free returns but recognise £5 an item is unlikely anywhere else.

Firstly- the app on the 20 odd ocassions Ive attempted to use it has NEVER got past the circle whirring around where ever I have been in this country- Ive never got an uber this way.
Secondly my niece advised to instead book through browser. So last Friday in Birmingham city centre I booked an uber for Holiday Inn hotel to the gig we were going to. Immediately arriving in 2 minutes came up. So I immediately informed the driver (Henry Murhabazi) we would be a few minutes leaving the building. And we dashed. I ran so fast down stairs in order not to miss the taxi or the gig. We got outside the hotel where there is ample and dedicated taxi drop off and driver nowhere to be seen. I messaged the driver. I phoned the driver. He ignored all my messages and calls. Then around 10 minutes later decided to finally inform us he was at the back of the Holiday Inn ? Ran back into hotel asked reception where the back actually was (and it was like a back alley) Then received a message the driver had gone and because Id cancelled- Though I clearly hadnt I was being charged £4.35 for the privilege of being completely and utterly messed around by a driver and never receiving the sevice I requested.
I will be contacting uber AGAIN about this as when I did on the evening I received a snotty generic message back saying they can only be contacted by the app- why provide the email then?
Uttterly disgusted by uber taxis. I feel extremely cheated.
Ive tried contacting uber in app and they immediately put £4.35 in my wallet. Ha ha ha- so they have refunded nothing and kept my £4.35 as credit to them. SO now I have requested the money back into my bank account and will update this review if I receive it. A service thats made me sick in my stomach.

Ive never been treated so badly by a company. Customer service will send your call to South Africa when you're in England. English customer services will promise you a manager call back that doesn't happen. South Africa will tell you there are no managers for you to be put through to when you know this is possible because you did speak to one yesterday but got cut off. Despite giving your phone number umpteen times that manager won't call you back. They won't understand your name number or postcode let alone the issue or your valid complaint. South Africa will promise you can keep a laptop that was to be returned and they will refund one which was out of stock and switch payments to your PayPal credit. England will tell you thats not going to happen when South Africa have authorised this. England will tell you dont worry about paypal thats all been cancelled- more lies paypal still claim I owe them hundreds of pounds.
I have been blatantly lied to by at least 3 different currys advisors so I'm legitimately furious. This isnt the full story please trust me I'm not writing this for fun!
I have spoken to 10 different currys advisors in 5 days all while Im off work sick with covid and still nowhere near a resolve. Ive paid for 2 laptops but have 1. Beware they will rinse any joy out of your purchase. Categorically never again. Was going to buy a TV from them too- will never happen now. Basically currys do not care about their customers. No purchasable item in the world is worth the stress you lot have caused me while I'm already ill.

To confirm- though promised a week agoand after all this trouble- Currys have not cancelled the order with paypal and any day now I will be charged an installment by paypal for goods I never received in the first place. An utter shambles of an excuse for customer service.

Team knowhow didnt respond to the email they asked me to send here. Currys did not have the decency to refund the laptop I never had and PayPal were forced to step in and obviously ruled in my favour. A big headache for nothing. I hope this is read by other potential customers for their sake.

Harvey at Griggs picked up on the issues going on and was absolutely 5 star in trying to resolve the issues in delivery and quality. He really couldn't have done more and I would be happy to recommend this company and buy from them again. I was initially given a refund for delivery costs but not only that after multiple problems Griggs had the honesty and understanding to admit mistakes and I was amazed and extremely grateful to be reimbursed on the full cost of the order- now that's integrity! And would never happen if I'd used the big Wickes' and Homebases of this world. 😊 Thank you very much Harvey at Griggs.

It's great to be helped in this way but too often since this scheme began I'm sorry to report there are weeks the voucher is not received and the times it is received too often the page says an invalid code is being entered when it's definitely valid.
Contacting Edenred returns no response or when they do reply a generic response about clearing cookies is sent which doesn't work or is nothing to do with the problem experienced.
The scheme has been running too long now to claim teething troubles but I live in hope the system will work better this time around.

I've used Funky Pigeon for 10 years since my son was born. If cards have arrived late they have refunded me. They usually always have voucher codes so their prices are definitely better than their rival. I also prefer the card designs. Only 1 gripe Ive had a couple of cards sent in a different font to the lettering I chose but overall I think their service is brilliant! I've made lots of personalised photo cards for family & they've always raised a massive smile 😃

I purchased a men's Lyle & Scott watch for my partner from House of Fraser & have just received from House of Fraser, in a Lyle & Scott watch box, a women's Pierre Cardin watch they dont even stock so no possibility of a mix up in warehouse. I have been conned. Yes this review might sound unbelievable Im certainly increduous. Feel sick.Little did I know until now that the company is owned by Sports Direct Mike Ashley & anyone in UK must be aware by now of his poor standing regarding staff treatment.
HOWEVER no staff treatment gives someone in their warehouse the right to take the watch I paid for and replace it with their own!!!!! Im absolutely gutted, dumbfounded and disgusted.
Please note there is no phone line to call, no webchat currently so their only means of contact is their online web form which- yes you might have guessed this told me "error message not sent" after I spent a long time typing up a complaint. Covid or not I will not let this outrageous issue go until resolved. And their zero customer service indicates to me this coud take a long time. Meanwhile my partners birthday present is ruined.
