Great App

Great App - after many years we have a bank that has designed a thoughtful and well tested banking app, mindful of the little things customers might want. Reasonable rates on savings accounts, savings accounts that you can make payments from like a check account does. Being able to rename your accounts, little symbols to recognise them and change the colours too. Cashback on an account. Decent balance transfer rates on credit cards. I have marked down as they need to ensure they look after existing customers in the same way as trying to attract new ones. You should want to retain our custom.

Top named products/companies at discounted prices. Delivery slightly longer but we weren’t desperate for the product and we were more than happy to wait considering the price saving. Would use again without hesitation.

Fraudulent company - no refund processed

After the initial order for Apple AirTags there was no correspondence. I then spent numerous weeks waiting and was advised of various dates when the products would arrive with them - I finally decided that they could not be trusted and requested the order cancelled. I was advised a refund was processed on the 17th March - no monies have been received. And now they are not responding to my emails. I would not use this company again.

No Communication - Order not received. Use with caution.

My initial purchase on the 20th Feb appeared to go as expected and a Royal Mail tracking number was provided. Many days past and after checking Royal Mail it advised no parcel received. After contacting the seller they advised it would be sent out mid week (12th March). No further information from seller so again I followed up and was advised that they have a supplier issue and it wasn’t expected until the end of March 2025 - 5-5 weeks after the initial order.

Review of SeceuroGlide Garage Doors

Seceuroglide Garage Doors and Installation

The doors appear to be well made. Our doors don’t open smoothly - they judder down currently. We were advised to use the doors for a couple of months - the installers are hoping this will improve the motion and make it smoother, I was hoping they would be smooth from the start! IMO, more time should have been spent by the installers to remove the previous installation material to allow the side channels to sit better against the brickwork - I wonder if this oversight has caused the side runners/tracks to out of alignment which is causing the doors to judder down in places. They were using a pry bar to widen the channels which concerned me. One minor issue, the control units are dark grey, the power cable to this unit is black, and for some reason the power cable to the door motors are white - they stand out like a sore thumb - why not have them also in black. We have also notice two paintwork chips on the side channels which seemed to have appeared whilst the installers returned to resolve another issue. The installer also damaged some brickwork whilst removing the old doors with his crow bar - Luckily I was overlooking the instal and stopped him before he caused even more damage. I had to ask to do it from the internal side and slightly more awkward side. Why would you think it’s ok to damage the visible brickwork? Frustrating install in many ways.

We purchased 3 items - All supplied cables did not work

We purchased 3 of the same item between two orders. The supplied cable did not work with any on the 3 units. I had an alternative cable which worked with all three devices. CHARGIT’s online chat does not connect you straight away. They then replied via email asking for a telephone number. They would have had this already from the order number - it was provided again and no one has called me. They is no direct email address to contact them. I emailed SALES and they have not replied. I will now return all three units ASAP. Use with caution.

Lost unusual scooter part

We had lost an unusual scooter piece that’s was not shown on the main website. I spoke to Katy via the online chat who was most helpful and with minutes she had referred the issue and I had received a call from their Head Office and the issue was resolved. This just reinforces why you by from quality companies like Micro-scooters! Thank you.

Good, but it’s the little things that make things great

Due to a last minute failure we required a fridge/freezer asap. The website was easy to use and we were able to book a next day delivery. I was provided delivery confirmation the next day which also enabled me to track the delivery and see where the driver was and roughly how far away they were and the expected eta which updated itself on a regular basis. We paid for a collection of the old unit and also for all rubbish to be removed. I was not at home but my wife said that one of the team was very helpful, and the other just wanted to get in and out. I appreciate that there are different levels of service but It was clear the new unit was rocking around and they didn’t want to spend a couple of minutes dropping the two feet down so she could use it until she asked. For a fridge install, should this not be part of the standard free service.

Incorrect stock lvls on website - Update Included

Further to my initial review. Martin@Penn Elcom contacted me this morning. He kindly explained some of the issues relating to stock levels and also is attempting to resolve the issue and move the lead time forward. The reason there was no response to my emails is that I had 'Replied to all' and even though the email was sent to 'Penn Elcom' in the email history it shows this as a 'No reply' address which wasn’t shown when I replied. This became clear when Martin had mentioned that they had not received my emails and apologised, but was confused why they hadn’t. Thank you Martin for responding so quickly and in the manner you did once you were aware of an issue.


The items ordered were all showing available. I was then advised the network rack was not in stock, I emailed to advise not to dispatch any items from the order as I may want to cancel as I wanted the items asap. No response to two emails, and they delivered two separate shipments despite being advised not to ship any items. Still no response to my emails. And still no actual network rack.

Another inconsiderate speeding DPD driver

Despite previously complaining to DPD we have another budding F1 driver who has no regard for speed limits or driving considerately around our cul-de-sac. There are family’s with young children in our road and it’s clear they have no regard for peoples safety! SLOW DOWN PLEASE! Also, if there’s an internal procedure for drivers to take pictures delivering packages then they should take pictures without the customer being in the pictures. I do not wish for them to take pictures of me personally, and I shouldn’t have to explain this to the driver.

Unreliable seller - Misrepresents Available stock levels.

The item was showing in stock so I ordered it in plenty of time for Xmas. On the 23/12 @ 1500 they have now advised me my order has been cancelled do no stock! No time to replace the present. I would use a reputable company that uses an up to date stock system. I will not use this seller in the future.

Should slow their speed when driving in our culdesac.

As you have asked for a review I would like to take the opportunity to review DHL drivers overall in our area. I find them to be very inconsiderate and drive far to fast. We live in a cul-de-sac location and there is also a small gravel drive which they race along. There are houses either side of this drive with families that have small children that run around. I feel it will be just a matter of time before a DHL van causes an accident. PLEASE SLOW DOWN AND BE MORE CONSIDERATE TO RESIDENTS.

Espares - Please read customers emails...

I have used Espares previously without issue. On this occasion the whole process was very problematic. I found the motor that should have fitted my Dyson, however it had been replaced by a different motor model and the description advised a new motor seal would also be included. On delivery there was no motor seal. I advised Espares of the issue and was offered to return the item for a refund? No apologies for the missing seal, no follow up why the seal wasn’t included as per their website info. I also highlighted that they had the wrong replacement motor reference - again there was no reply. Eventually they agreed to send a replacement motor which they hoped would include the stated seal - again the seal was missing on delivery. On this occasion I took the time to investigate the missing seal. However the correct seal for the new motor they advised should fit the Dyson DC33 Multifloor stated on the website it was not compatible. As the hoover was still in pieces nearly two weeks later I again sent another email, with screen shots of Espares own website to try and assist them - it was clear that the customer service agents at no point took the time to understand the issue, read my email or investigate the issue. After escalating the matter another department got involved - I received a seal, but it was for the old style motor. I asked them again to fully read my email to assist them. Finally they did, the seal that they show as incompatible with my Dyson was received and is now fitted and my hoover is finally working. They admitted there is an issue on their website. I appreciate issue occurs, but I did go out of my way to try and help Espares resolve the issue in a timely manner. They appeared to drag their heals at every turn initially - until I escalated the matter. In the current environment what a waste of time this was for all involved. Totally unnecessary. I then also found a replacement motor - in the old style on a major online retailers website for half the price!

No concern of people’s safety - budding racing car driver

The item was delivered well. The frustrating thing is the speed at which the DPD driver is driving his van around our road. It’s not a motorway, Or a 'B' road, or even an 'A' road it’s a culdesac with families with young children which he appears to want to use as a race track!
