Just what I wanted

Just what I wanted and hard to find (very thin, strong black cord) - a useful contact to have made for the future. Delivery took a little longer than I'd hoped is my only reason for dropping one star, we're spoilt by Amazon so perhaps that's unfair.

I am very pleased we signed up for this reliable service

Just as I am beginning to think I may need to contact Lloyds about my prescription I get an email from them listing those that are running low. In terms of deliveries and suggestions they are always spot on, and respond to queries promptly. I am very pleased we signed up for this reliable service.

Difficult to remember details for past…

Difficult to remember details for past deliveries, you would need to list them if you want a comprehensive report, but I think I would probably give you 5 stars overall.

I've dropped it to 4 for the last delivery (from Lakeland) because there was a sizeable hole in the box - no serious harm however as contents were plastics glass and moth spray bottles, all undamaged, but whatever made the hole exerted pressure (despite individual bubble wrapping) on the glass-spray trigger which had caused a harmless leak.

Review of BLOOM - Faux Flowers and Plants

A good option and delivery excellent.

A modest little plant (Calathea) but a believable option in a rather dark passage where nothing much else would grow. Delivery prompt and packing clever so leaves emerged beautifully from box.

I continue to be pleased

I continue to be pleased with the service given Lloyds Direct (despite the change of name!). I am regularly reminded when my prescriptions need renewal, the ordering process works well, and operatives are invariably helpful and polite.
A word of advice: you need to say somewhere that additional items that may have been prescribed but due to lapse of time or because they are new, need to have a current prescription from doctor to qualify - it took me a little while to establish this with staff.

Energy Helpline experience

For a number of years I used Energy Helpline and their very helpful advisers to guide my decisions about switching provider with very satisfactory results. Being cautious about this partially tied service I checked their advice with WhichSwitch who gave very similar recommendations. I was always reminded by Energy Helpline at the critical point of my current tariff ending. This stopped a few years ago, and in any case I was having long drawn out problems with SP about serious admin failures on their part - even they recommended I go to the Ombudsman! Having recently moved house I thought I would contact the helpline again but was a little put off by the online process (there are always questions to be asked I find), but having made a preliminary online assessment I rang and received the same patient personal advice as previously, and having made my decision, they handled the switch as smoothly as before.

An excellent and reasonably priced present

Not of course actually cut-glass, but a very sophisticated contemporary look-alike design which went down very well indeed as a 21st birthday present - not only with the recipient but his family, and were good to drink out of I discovered!

Help with the choice on your phone was also much appreciated and the delivery was efficient. Never having heard of Urban Bar before, I was led to you by the six glass box, most others were only four.

I can't review a particular item…

I can't review a particular item because I've made a number of separate orders over the past few months, but I have generally been very satisfied with both the item and the delivery period. Only two have been very poor delivery (Timex ladies watch and Start Genie for charge boost for flat car battery) - 2 months overdue or more - presumably due to failure by suppliers.

The arrival (on time) of the mattress…

The arrival (on time) of the mattress in a box no bigger than a wheelie bin is amazing, but don't forget it's still the weight of a double mattress because it's only air that's missing. I couldn't wait to open it, and the next miracle is watching this very large jam roll turn itself into a mattress. We've slept on it now for ten days and it's been a real antidote for the mental stresses and physical pains of moving house - never been so comfortable or slept so well.
