Disincentive to purchase towel softener liquid
I have used the towel softener liquid for many years and find it very effective and would ideally recommend it to others. However, it has been discontinued from stock in the shop where I was accustomed to purchase several bottles at a time. Now it has been increased in price and is only available at an excessive delivery charge.
A very negative experience.
A very negative experience this time. I ordered two items and was informed they would arrive separately - no problem and one item came. Had e-mail to say the second one - a rug, was dispatched to Evri for delivery on July 18th. Tracked it and Evri have never received it. Chased it by e-mail, received one back to say someone would be in touch in 48 hours - they weren't. Then another to say it would be here by July 31st. Rang to see what was happening, was told one would be dispatched on September 1st - so where was the one that was supposedly on it's way? Why lie and say it is on the way in the first place? Just say it's out of stock and be done with! Have now received an e-mail to say my goods have been returned(where from?) and I will be refunded - in a few days? I think my money has been in their account long enough, so why a few days? Bank transfers can be done pretty quickly these days. Not impressed and although I'm not a new customer with Scotts, I won't be buying again - the communication has be terrible. I used to work in retail, so I have given the benefit of the doubt probably much longer than some would!

Garden hose tidy ordered 15th July and paid for. No delivery. Told (23rd July) that they were waiting for fresh supplies by 31st July. Rang then, told that they would check that supply had arrived and ring back to confirm. No subsequent call. Rang 5th August. Told that supply would now be arriving on the 15th. Contrast that with Josef Seibel shoes. Order arrived the day after it was placed….Cancelled the order as there was no guarantee that the latest date would be adhered to….

A very helpful and knowledgable lady called Noms who listened to my queries about my order and was absolutely correct as the tablecloth I decided to order could not be better.
Handbag purchase
After purchasing a bag from Scotts of Stow, and only using the bag once the strap broke off the handbag. I sent it back and the customer services team were extremely rude and unhelpful. Not even offering a replacement or exchange or refund as I hadnt got a receipt for it. I purchased the bag online and as they cant find it on their system cant refund or exchange .
Incorrect order sorted out in no time.
I placed an on-line order for four items this morning. When I received confirmation of the receipt of the order, I saw that three of the ordered items were correct but the fourth was completely different. I telephoned Scotts of Stow and spoke with Lerato, who was exceptionally helpful and sorted out my order completely. She was most helpful indeed, as well as being very pleasant and kind.

ordered a bench seat on April 22nd and no sign of a delivery. Now May 15th and still no delivery. Poor website and even worse customer service. Do not order from this site. Terrible.
No sign of delivery anytime soon
Placed order on 20th April and no sign of a delivery happening any time soon, this seems to be a common theme in this feedback so I've cancelled my order now.
Despatch promise fantasy!
Although a scheduled despatch date of 24th April and a commitment to update by email, nothing since ! As order intended as a birthday gift - disappointed is an understatement !

Appalling customer service I purchased…
Appalling customer service I purchased a plant stand it was delivered damaged, I telephoned and what sounded like an old lady answered the phone and said she would pass the message on, I complained to customer service twice sending photos of the damage and packaging and then still writing and asking for photos and description, I asked for a replacement but now it is out of stock!!! So was told a refund and havn’t received that either, I am disgusted with how this has been handled, if they had acted immediately I probably could have had a replacement, now not even a refund. Have since received a refund and replacement on order with a discount so closed in the end just took too long.
