Review of Boots Online Doctor

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Disaster experience

I wanted to order tablets for delaying my period. I went through the online doctor consultation questionaire. Then they wanted me to add selfie photo and photo of my ID document, as well as my card details. All of these before they can even approve the tablets. After submiting all of these they wanted me to uoload again my ID photo. I did it again. Then they sent me message saying I have another account with them and their system cant hadle double accounts. I dont even remember registering with them before. So all of these prolong the period. At the end I wanted just to delete the account and the request but you cant even find the button to delete your account. You really need some improvements.

Review of Turtle Bay

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Such a manipulation should be illegal.

We saw the offer for Valentine’s day menu called One Love at Turtle Bay, and booked ourselves for this menu in the Romford restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant the waiter gave us a table. We were waiting for 15 min without any waiter coming and bringing the menu, because the waiter that gave us the table was chatting with the ladies on the table behind us. When my husband decided to go and look for someone to bring us the menu, he suddenly appeared and brought to us the la carta menu. I said we are booked for One Love menu and he said that it does not say in the booking but he will still bring it. This was lie because it was written in the booking confirmation I had from Turtle Bay. Please see photos.
We decided what we want to go for, which was 2 courses and free cocktail for each of us for £25.5 per person. When we were ordering the cocktails, he said to us that actually is one cocktail with this offer. So, I said to my husband alright, we will pay the his cocktail on top of the set menu price even though it was odd that for Valentines they will give free cocktail to one of us but not to the other one. In few min the same waiter is coming and brings 6 cocktails. I am asking why 6 we wanted just one cocktail each of us and he says, it is 2 for 1 and he leaves. We are completely confused and spent the rest of our Valentine's “romantic” dinner discussing what is the deal here, why something feels odd with the whole offer? We look repeatedly at the One Love menu, on one side is the food, on top with pink written about the free cocktail, and on the back side is the One Love list of cocktails, with option to go bottomless which we do not want nor need.
My meal was good, but my husband's meal was disgrace. He went for jerk chicken and rice. There was no sauce with it, very dry and just reheated, you could see pitiful meal.
Then we asked for the bill and another waitress is bringing us the bill which is £84 instead of the £53 what we were supposed to pay according to the Valentine's offer. I asked her to call the manager and the same waiter, the guy who gave us the table, the wrong menu and failed to explain himself with the cocktails comes. So, he is the manager. We are asking him about the bill, he says, he can see the deserts they put them as additional by mistake. I am asking him why the cocktails are listed to be paid separately, when the offer was including cocktail he says I told you that for free is only the One Love cocktail, that was the one looking like a cube. So, at that moment we are realising that actually One Love is a type of a cocktail. We saw later that it is listed as number 16th on the list One Love cocktails, among the other cocktails. We are asking why he did not told us that when we were ordering, he said because “it’s self-explanatory”. Well you know what, its not. Both, my husband and I are people with degrees, we love dining out and have seen many menus before. And this was not at all well communicated. We said to him that we will pay what we feel is right for what we understood in the offer. The amount we needed to pay according to the offer was £53 because my meal showed +2 on the menu. I gave him cash of £55.
He said to us to be aware that if we do that we are going to be blacklisted as customer going in the restaurants.
So, Turtle Bay let me tell you. You are on purpose creating menus that will manipulate people. And you already have other people leaving 1* reviews because of this. This is illegal and I am going to report you to the Trading Standards to investigate this. We are not deserving to be blacklisted because you want manipulate people in order to rip them of. And if this was not intentional on your side, better use user testing to see if your menus are self-explanatory.

Review of Angelsnursingagency

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Our trust in them costed us a lot of money and stress

This is not only to review Sally and Angels Nursing and Babysitting Agency but also to warn others to not trust this agency. Trusting Sally and this agency costed us a lot of money, as well as mental and emotional stress.
We reached to Sally about 7 months ago as we were planning our trip to Pollenca, Palma de Mallorca in order to organise a carer for my husband. Sally was responsive to our messages and she assured us that we are safely in their books until the end. Since the care was organised we moved forward and booked the hotel, flight and equipment we needed and some of them were non refundable.
About 8 weeks before our trip, beginning of April I got in touch with Sally, and again she responded on the same day saying she organised our care with Paula and she will be in touch with us. Since we have not heard back from any Paula for two weeks, I got in touch with Sally and she told us that unfortunately Paula’s mother-in-law is terminally ill and she needed to go and care for her. She also said she have found for us two other “angels”, Diane and Helen and they will get in touch with us. Since again we have not heard back from any Diane or Helen, beginning of May, I wrote to Sally saying that this start to worry us. She called us the same day saying that both Diane and Hellen had emergencies and needed to care for others that are with cancer or terminally ill. These were all carers from Pollenca, so we offered if it was easier to find a carer in the South of Mallorca, we are even willing to change the hotel and location of our trip, just not to lose the non-refundable flight tickets we have bought.
She assured us that if we can do that then yes, it will be easy for her to find us a carer for Playa or Palma Nova. We ended up that call by she saying the first thing next morning she will send us details where to look for a hotel. That was the last time we heard from Sally. Its been three weeks with no contact from Sally.
Of course, we missed this opportunity to travel to Palma de Mallorca, trusting this agency that is completely unreliable. We also lost a lot of money due to flight tickets and a deposit to the equipment company, but in the same time we are grateful that we did not went all the way there and face a now show carer scenario.

Review of Intellizoom

Disfunctional algorithm that fails the testers and companies using Intellizoom!

I was with Intellizoom for more than a year. The first couple of months it was ok, and then since October 2022, when they joined with UserTesting, it is literally a disaster. I can't believe Usertesting even want to be associated with such a disfunctional platform.
People on Reddit are saying that some of them are receiveing 15-20 screneers per day and some just 2 screeners for the a whole month.
So, Intellizoom let me tell you the problem that such algorithm to spread the tests can cause:
- Those getting 15-20 screeners are exhausting themselves, paying less and less attention just to earn more money, and of course can't give good quality reviews if you are tired. Their quality of work will surely drop.
- Those getting only 2 screeners per month are not motivated with your offer, so again you are not getting eager testers that put their whole attention to it.
- Having demotivated and tired testers results in your clients/companies to pay for low quality feedback.
I dont know who is benefiting from you disfunctional algorithm that can't make sure to spread the amount of tests among the testers so everyone gets work, motivation and of course your clients will get a good quality reviews....and you as a platform a better review on Trustpilot.
Good luck!

Just loosing time

I have been on PlaybookUX for almost a year. If thinking back 5 months ago, there were 1 or max 2 tests per month which was still ok. But in th elast 5 months there were no tests at all. I keep the page open at all times during the working day and no test is poping up. I wrot etwice to the support and I only get generic email saying that it depends on demographics. Its time to close it down.

Review of The House of Bruar

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Delivery and return policy are very bad. The quality of cashmere is not good at all.

I got a cashmere cardigan from The House of Bruar. The cashmere was not soft, but felt itchy on the skin, so I needed to return. In order to return it I needed to pay almost 5 £. So, paying almost 80 £ to buy it, about 8 £ for delivery and then to return 5£ imagine that in order to get the cardigan and just try it, I needed to pay 13 £.
Their delivery and return policy really need adjusting if they want to be competitive.

Review of uTest

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

After being about 8 months on uTest...

After being about 8 months on uTest I think I have a better idea how much I can earn and how it works. The good thing about uTest is that I still managed to earn some money, I am talking about 100$ something for the all 8 months.
The bad things about uTest are:
- Your payout depends on how many bugs you will find. So, sometimes you will find no bugs for which you do not get payment or even 5 bugs.
- Even when you find bugs, the researcher might not find them valuable so you will get paid just 1.75 $ or 2.50 $ for a bug even though you spend hours working on it, writing report etc.
- You need to learn a lot in order to take part in uTest, they have a whole academy and that is not enough. You need really to spend time learning a lot.
- The support is mainly unreachable and useless. You dont really need to whom to turn if you have a problem. I have contacted TE and never heard back, contacted the uTest support and they said its up to the TE. So, its a vicious circle if you need support.
- You need to be very mindfull with your personal data. There are projects that ask for your payment details, or you even need to do payment, ask for your ID or things that are very sensitive and it made me many times to feel unsafe.
All in all, I would not recommend this platform, as there are many other to make more money with much less efford, and less risk towards your data.

Review of Testable Minds

Failed Platform, don't bother loosing your time

I sign up for Testable Minds almost a month ago. Initially was very difficult to verify my account because they were asking picture of my passport or other personal identifying document. It took me to send 3 times proof until they verified my account. I was hoping to start receiving studies after that. However, its been weeks without any single study showing up on my dashboard. I contacted the support asking if my account is alright and why lack of studies and I got exactly the same message as the other reviewer here, Morgan, saying :"We have studies everyday, but the researchers have specific requirements for the participants, based on age, gender, nationality, native language, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc.
Please make sure that the information that you provided are correct so that you will not be automatic disqualified from studies."
I think this is failed platform.

Initially they did not delivered my parcel, with no explantation saying we could not deliver today. After few days they went to a wrong address and left note "we missed you". And at the end they delivered just 1 item, and the second one was never found. Disaster.

Works great

I have been with Usretesting since April and it works very well. I wish I would have more tests as a tester with them, but the ones that are available on the platform are working great. I would encourage businesses to use user testing as a platform because it just has the capacity and capability to provide the software needed and support. Unlikely many other platforms that have technical problems all the time and no support, this one works great. Very pleased with them. Thanks, userstesting!

Review of conversioncrimes.com

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Very unprofessional testing platform. Just avoid it!

I joined Conversion Crimes some time ago. I have opened an account with them and took all three unpaid tests in order to enroll. I pass the first two with the moderator stating "Overall, you did a great job at providing feedback and honestly experimenting with the website!"
I also got the message "You are officially a Conversion Crimes tester and can now start taking on customer tests from your Dashboard."
After taking the third test, which was supposed to be taken on the mobile device, I got the message that my test has been rejected, without any feedback. This test was not actually a test, but it was advertised as a setup for taking tests on a mobile device. So, even though it wasn't a test, it was rejected. I can see the recording of the test and all seems right. By the way, I am 5* tester on Usertesting and a bunch of other platforms.
After I got the rejection email, I got a second message saying "Our team has reviewed your application and at this time we are unable to approve your account based on our current client requirements and their tester needs. As we grow the company and bring on additional clients, the opportunity for you to participate in the future may arise. We have your information on file and will reach out to you if new opportunities become available."
So do you need testers or not? Do you have clients or not? Am I already tester with you or not? Please make up your mind, like this is very annoying.
Since you are stating you are trying to "help" other companies do better business let me give you honest, free feedback. First of all, maybe you start with improving your own business first. Believe me, you can improve it because for now, you are doing very badly. There is a lot you can do. For example:
- Give guidance to testers in the training video on how to take a test on their mobile device.
- Have your own recorder for mobile device tests, it will look much more professional. Don't ask testers to use whatever they have. Businesses are paying you, they don't need to lose time with your jokes.
- Stop answering every post on Reddit when Conversion Crimes is mentioned under the name "ConversionCrimes Owner" stating that you are just starting and that you can't have engineers as User Testing has. It gives the impression that you can't do the job you are actually saying you can.
- Be more serious. If you are open to new testers accept them, don't play with them. Otherwise, you are giving such a bad impression and you won't reach far. Businesses need serious platforms, not like yours.
And at the end, why did you call the platform Conversion Crimes...do you think serious businesses would like to collaborate with a platform with such a name?

Review of TestingTime

For me this platform has been of no use at all

I joined this platform in May 2022, so it's been quite a few months and I have not gotten any tests so far. I got a few invitations but was screenout for things that I already have written down on my profile. For example, after waiting for 2 months for an invitation, I got an invitation for a test that asked how many children I have. I was screened out after clicking no children. So, why you are sending me invitations for testing that has nothing to do with my profile?
A month ago I got an email from Testing time to join another platform, Norstat in order to get more invitations. Guess what? It did not work. I sign up for that one and there are no tests at all.
I wonder how they got all these positive reviews but for me, this platform has been of no use. I live in the UK, middle age so my demographic cant is that of a problem for what they look for.

Hi Risina

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that it hasn't worked out yet! Unfortunately, it does often take a few attempts until an application for a test also leads to participation.

We'd like to elaborate why; our clients are often looking for people with very specific profiles for their user tests:

Example 1: A webshop for baby cloth would like to receive feedback on the process of returning their products.

👉 Example 1: Participation criteria: "Must have a baby and returned baby cloth from this webshop in the last month."

Example 2: A mobile service provider wants to ask potential customers about a new family subscription.
👉 Participation criteria: „Must live in a household that includes at least three people and two generations.”

Thus, unfortunately it is normal that your profile isn’t a fit for every test, please be patient! We promise it will be worth it.

TestingTime has been acquired by Norstat, the leader in Market Research in Europe. In order to give you the opportunity to participate in more studies, you could sign up as a tester at Norstat as well. As mentioned before, it takes a while until you can participate in a test.

Best regards,
Your TestingTime Team

Spending your money or time in vain for a broken platform

I sign up for this platform in May and since then only had problems. The tests are coming rarely and when they come I was working for 30 min for nothing, or the recorder would not record, so you won't be paid for it even though you were working 30 min or the recording can't be uploaded, just like yesterday got stuck on 18% which means again you can't get paid.
I can't understand such platforms. You are spending in vain the money from the researchers and the time of the testers because you can't make a decent recorder and application. Simply do not launch your platform until you are ready.
When you reach the support its just useless.
