Left Elefriends due to some extremely…

Left Elefriends due to some ignorant and insensitive members, and over zealous moderation who failed to address specific issues I was having with the way several members had responded to me.

This ultimately resulted in me leaving the site for good, feeling hurt and frustrated that my concerns had not been listened to.

Also, felt ganged up on by some members who I would consider toxic and insensitive. The type of people I would absolutely go out of my way to avoid were they in my family, circle of friends, workplace and so on.

My advice to you? If you're the type of person that does not like to assert yourself when someone crosses the line with you, then you will probably be fine. However, if you're the type of person that needs to assert themselves when someone crosses the line with you (like me), I strongly recommend avoiding this site. Members may argue with you even when they have crossed the line with you and when you report them to moderation you will likely receive a canned response that does not fully address your concerns.

Although there ARE some lovely, kind and supportive people on this site, on several occasions I did feel bullied and belittled. For the latter two reasons alone, I had no option but to leave this site. I would not consider returning to this site because of what happened to me during my time as a member.

A Number of Bad Experiences With MyHermes

Courier called me an inappropriate name while delivering my parcel. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional and I was offended by their over-familiarity!

Another courier BLAMED me for their mistake and was extremely rude and aggressive towards me. I had never met this courier before and felt they were a really nasty individual who needed to go to a school of deportment.

And finally, another courier came to collect parcels over 1 week late and had the cheek to no acknowledge how late they were upfront!

Totally unacceptable people employed in this company who really need to learn the basics of customer service. However, there are one of two good employees I have encountered over the course of the last few years.

Hermes if you are reading this I strongly advise you to start making customer service a top priority.Also, don't just hire anybody without making sure they pass stringent tests!

You are currently hiring some highly obnoxious individuals who don't think twice about offending their customers. You would be well advised to be more selective in your hiring processes.

All in all I feel Hermes are an amateur company with a bad management team - well at least in my area of the country!

VERY DISORGANISED COMPANY WHO COULD NOT…

VERY DISORGANISED COMPANY WHO ARE NOT ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE ERRORS THEY MAKE!!

Had problems with broadband. First live chat agent ran a test and said everything was 'fine', even though I told them I was experiencing connections issues.

Second chat agent was very unapologetic and very rude and ignorant and lacked understanding of the correct manner in which to address a customer. They ran an 8 minute test and determined there were issues with my line. The told me an engineer was coming the next day, however no engineer visited. This made me late for work and caused all sorts of problems with my boss.

Next, I rang up customer services to complain. They were very apologetic. However, when running a test on my broadband they said there were no faults!!! However, they are supposedly sending out an engineer to check everything but the email to confirm this never arrived - inspite of being promised one would be sent!!

Have to say if I could I would be leaving zero stars. This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE service and I would recommend that you avoid BT if good customer service is a high priority for you!

Glen from customer support was arrogant.

Really, really poor customer service. The guy there... Glen I think, came across as egotistical and arrogant and very keen to get into an argument even though he knew I have a legimiate complaint. He was wanting to deflect my problems and suggested I was being difficult. As a paying customer, I did expect to be treated with respect and for and issues to be dealt with in a wholly professional manner. Good products, but Glen needs to humble himself and listen to his customers more. I unsubscribed from Pillow Profits as a result of the negative interactions I had with him via email.

I decided to never shop at Tesco again …

I decided to never shop at Tesco again some time ago because the home delivery driver was over an hour late, and I never received a phone call to notify me of this. Yes, you read that right!! The driver in question was also extremely rude and ignorant - by that I mean he never apologised for being so late and showed zero concern about it. What if I had a doctors appointment or I had to pick up my niece from school that day?? What is the protocol for a driver when they are so late?

The staff need to be trained much more thoroughly so there's greater consistency in the standard of service they deliver.

Good range of products

Sent multiple emails, but most I do not get a reply to! This company seems only concerned with making money and not keeping their customers happy. I had one order with not 1, but 2 items missing!! I was not told about this and was left to chase them up about this.

***EDIT*** Just looking back at the reviews there seems to be an unusual pattern for the good reviews.

Yes, the products are authentic and genuine, but customer service seems way down on the list of priorities.

All in all a poorly run outfit with a management team that does not really respect their customers.

Reasonable products, substandard customer service!

Reasonable products, substandard customer service!

The products seem pretty good, but the customer service is substandard. Why? Because you can ask a specific question and do not get a specific answer.

Also, you can email them and it can take 8 hours or more to get a response - that's if you do get a response at all! I emailed them a few days ago and they didn't reply. It was a really important question, and I am now faced with having to email them back again to ask the same question.

I have noticed their responses are often lazy. The often do not take the due care and attention to put together a personalised response to what you're asking them, and what you need to know in order to move forward with your sales.

They do not have 24/7 hour customer support. There is no excuse for this seeing as how cost effective it is to hire a VA! This shows a real lack of care for their business customers. They have obviously invested a huge amount in their app... now go and do the same for customer service and training as it sucks!

Also, you can be really friendly to THEM in your emails, but oftentimes they do not reciprocate and can sound robotic! I mean, if someone asks how you are and you just ignore that, it makes you come across that you do not care about your customers. I am not asking you to be my BFF Teelaunch, I am just asking for some better manners. I am a good customer of yours who has sold more than a few of your products! So, spread the love and generosity and it will be reflected back to you and make your day so much better.

When I was charged hidden custom fees for an item and told them about this, the first response was kind of along the lines of "It's not our problem, that is down to you to find out".

They need to be way more transparent! I basically received a $10 fee just for some cheap samples!!! Not once during the order process did it mention that I should be expecting these charges. I have never once been charged custom fees even when ordering from abroad! HUGE oversight Teelaunch... you can do so much better! The beauty is in the detail, I hope you will look much closer.

So, virtually every other company I deal with has better customer service (apart from MyHemes). Teelaunch REALLY need to invest time and money in this area of their business immediately, and it is a big oversight on their part. Good customer service will make them much more profitable.

I am still in two minds as to keep using Teelaunch. I see there are some new major players in the market. So, if Teelaunch do not pull their socks up on their customer service and start to describe the products they are selling much better, I will have no choice but to jump ship.

Teelaunch,if you are reading this PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE improve your customer service and include more information on your products! It is a frustrating experience dealing with you some of the time. I hope you will take on board what I have said, and implement some of the changes.

This is not just me having a rant, these are genuine issues that you need to address in order to be much more successful and retain your customers. :)
