Taken over a £100 and not delivered my contact lens. Have called them repeatedly. Requested my money back. Been promised a call back by a senior manager who does not bother calling back. Told to keep waiting. Told again today it would arrive which I did not believe having received no notification. Unsurprisingly my order never arrived again. Nightmare dealing with this company. They still have my money and have not refunded me.

I hope you read the reviews before buying anything from this company. I have today made a report to the Competition and Markets Authority. You will see that the website states: "5 star reviews - shop with peace of mind" That statement is completely misleading for consumers. It provides a link to a couple of reviews from google. The reality is utterly different - most consumers give 1 star and the overall star rating is 2.8. Equally, on Trustpilot, over a third of consumers rate Luxus as poor or bad. My experience, is similar to many - initial delays in delivery, numerous varied excuses and endless poor communication. If you do finally receive the furniture, less than a year later a panel on the table has buckled. After, endless unanswered calls and emails, I have requested my money back so we can buy a new garden set. This has finally resulted in a response that they could take the table away to see if it could be fixed but it may infact be our fault. Unsurprisingly, I have no confidence that responsibility would be accepted and the table would be returned fixed within a reasonable period and without endless further hassle and upset. This has been an exhausting and upsetting experience. Please be aware that if you write a negative review on Luxus they will seek to remove it - 70 poor and/or bad reviews have been removed because Trustpilot did not receive a response - it's important to do so, so your review remains. If there are a further 70 dissatisfied customers who wrote a review initially, it makes me concerned as to how many more there are? It would be a much better use of Luxus's time to seek to resolve complaints.

Ordered Beko freezer = price £500!!! Have now discovered Appliances Direct are charging exorbitant prices (this usually retails at £200 in John Lewis and many other places). The high demand because of the current pandemic has led Appliances Direct to blatantly profit from vulnerable customers. I will never use this company again.
