great service.. but slow

Lovely small genuine company

I was nervous about dealing with Tech-shack, as wondered if they were a company in cyber space. Firstly they did what they said, and they were available on the phone as well as by email. I had a faulty set of headphones, they refunded me. I think the customer service is excellent.

Poor service process, and shockingly bad car

Although the lady serving us was very polite, the process took a long time, at least double the time than it’s taken for any of the other providers we have used at Trieste Airport - so over half hour and there was no queues. She even asked us for the date we passed out driving tests - we are in our 50’s.. so don’t suffer young drivers fee! She then advised that we both needed to receive a code text to us to validate the contract- neither of these were experienced with any other provider.

So now to the car.. what a pile of rubbish. The car is like a tin can, no digital display, dents and scratched all over , thermostat for engine heat does not work. We are various about actually making it beck to the airport. By far the worse car we have hired in over 30 years.

Just in case they try to give you this car, the registration is GM379ET - Crossland - don’t take it! We took a video of it before we left the airport and will take one when we return it.

So both the service and the car are not worth pursuing. Use one of the other providers. You will get a better service and car.

Great customer service …

I have spoken with Phoebe on a couple of occasions after placing my order of outside rattan table and 8 chairs. Phoebe was able to answer all questions I asked, and the outdoor set is lovely.

As there is a delay in the outdoor cover (not received as yet), Phoebe agreed to send the furniture set first , with the cover to follow later. This was very appreciated.

My experience talking with Phoebe, and with the company Maze is a good one.

I ordered about 10 different products. All great.

The best was the cleansing cream, massive results without too much rubbing. I’ve since ordered a second one to take to my holiday home. You only need a very small amount, so will last for months if using daily.

The rich moisturiser for dry and sensitive skin is fabulous too.

I’ve used the face wash a few times, and that makes your face feel really fresh, a really light face wash which you hardly k ow you are putting on the skin.

And the bath oil… well that makes my skin feel silky in and out of the bath. Highly recommend this too.

My least favourite, although that might be because I use the light touch moisturiser first, is the makeup primer. I’m not sure you need both moisturiser and primer on before you add foundation.

Great 806 bike, fantastic, but let down by faulty battery chargers

I have the 806 folding e-bike. It is really lovely to ride, seems very sturdy, lights are good, and there is nothing I would improve.

However, the battery situation is very different, and the reason I have not given 5*. I did not buy directly from Wisper, but from a supplier, but yet again as I have already read, there has been delays in the battery - not by a few days, but weeks.

I have the 575 battery, and the super 3amp charger that as supplied did not work at all. We were sent another one, and the charge is a trickle charge, and after 5 hours, it still has not finished charging 40% of the battery (the battery already had 60% in it), the battery charger green light does not come on when completely charged, but above all the battery charger itself gets so hot, you cannot actually hold it in your hands, you have to put it down. I am giving this review in case anyone else has the supercharger and needs to be careful, incase there is a faulty batch, and the battery charger melts or sets a light.

I am sure this will be resolved, but this is the 2nd 3amp battery charger, and the bike has only done 80 miles.

I am prepared to think I have just been unlucky (or maybe lucky that I touched the battery charger to know is it over heating)...

Excellent service @ Locauto car rent Trieste Airport…

We use Locauto at Trieste airport around 10 times a year.

They are fair, honest, and therefore present good value (like others, who charge you for scratches you did not do..)

Once I left my attack alarm in the car, and they kept it safe until I returned.

Staff very friendly.

Today I was expecting a delivery from…

Today I was expecting a delivery from DPD with an one hour time slot this morning. We are all in and up. I got an email from DPD saying "sorry we missed you" and they will attempt it again on Tuesday.

We have CCTV, so I just checked it, as no one knocked, or the ring door bell was not pressed. Surprise...DPD did not actually attempt to delivery my parcel today - total dishonesty. No card left...Of course I am reporting it to IKEA (as they were delivering on their behalf). We cannot function in a world of dishonesty.

Attempted two visits

Attempted two visits, never heard door knock and CCTV ring bell did not make a noise.

Second visit left parcel outside with address clearly o. It to where it was to be delivered. They left a note next to it and did not take the parcel.

Really cannot imagine why someone would leave a note next to parcel they were due to collect.

On this basis the service has not been delivered.
