Very good communication about day and time of delivery. Good updates. Easy to track vehicle location. Arrived on time. Guys were friendly and carried three heavy packages onto my caravan decking.

Great Quality and Excellent Work

Chose this company to put in full decking on our static van, including skirting and steps based on a friends recommendation. Reall glad I did as they have done a first rate job from start to finish. The materials were very good and the vertical posts were solid construction not hollow and so felt very sturdy. A special thanks to the two fitters, David Thompson and Kyle Williams. They worked almost non stop to get the project finished on time. Very professional,and friendly. Our neighbouring caravan owner also commented on their work ethic and friendliness. The price quoted was very competitive especially as the materials were of such good quality. Would highly recommend this company to others.

Wonderful Checkout Lady

Was dragged into the Handforth Dean store by my wife this morning, (I am not a keen shopper!). Went to the checkout and there was a wonderful lady to help me. Beaming smile, great attitude with the customer, really good interaction. I couldnt see her name tag but did report her to customer services in the store. In case they have not passed my thanks on, the details are as follows. 25th June 0958hrs. Store 2629. Checkout 028. Give her a pay rise!!!!

Who Has Had My Parcel part 1 and 2 and now 3

Ordered some quite expensive goods from QVC and they informed me on the 12th Feb that goods were being despatched. Evri contacted me to say they had the parcel. They then said package had been delivered 14th Feb at 1532hrs. They sent me a position report of vehicle and photo of package. The package took up all the photo space so that nothing else was visible. That is not proof of delivery. I managed to get two videos from an adjacent building which shows a white van pulling up at the exact time and date. Nobody exits the vehicle, and one minute later vehicle departs. QVC have been very good and have sent out a repacement package and Evri should have delivered it on the 27th Feb. Gave an update time and then 2 minutes later said there was a problem, and they would be in touch on the 28th. Guess what? No contact from Evri. I will wait for you to contact me before deciding on where to take this

UPDATE ON ABOVE REVIEW. 01 MARCH.
At first i thought that Evri were taking my review seriously as they sent their reply very quickly. Should have known better as its an automated response. The 0330 number does not let you make a complaint, leave an email or speak to a representative. The chat option is with a chatbot that takes you round and round in circles. QVC have asked me to leave it with them for 48 hours, but if they cant give me answers then I will be informing a higher authority!. Update on the replacement package, Evri have lost it!!!!!! Not had the decency to update me with information for the last 3 days. Chatbot suggests I contact seller for a replacement. Once this update is posted I bet I get another pointless automated response. Its like something out of a Monty Python sketch!!!!!.
Part 3 update 15th March. Still no contact from EVRI. QVC have sent out another parcel via DPD and it arrived safely within 48 hours. However, ordered another product this time from Ebay and EVRI have lost that as well. If possible, before buying another thing online I will try and find out if EVRI are the carrier. If they are then I will cancel the order.

This is a review in two parts

This is a review in two parts. 1 star for NS&I and 5 stars for customer services.
First the 1 star.Opened an account last night and went through what I thought was all the questions. They asked me to put in my bank details and amount to invest. This went through smoothly and my bank confirmed the transfer. THEN NS &I requested upload of passport and driving licence. Before I could scan them in I was timed out. Took ages to get back in and finally download. I was then given my account number. I checked the NS&I account 23 hours later and to my horror I saw that my balance was zero. I phoned up and then had a battle with the virtual assistant to tell him I wanted to speak with a human being. Was on hold for 20 minutes until a representative answered.
5 Star Part. Explained the situation and was given precise information. She explained that security checks were taking longer than normal (4 days). I told her I was concerned as to the wherabouts of my transferred money, and by taking a few details she confirmed that my monies had been received, and asked me to check into my account in the next few days. I see that customer services have been given bad press on the reviews but my experience was good. Her name was Ellie (from N E England?) and the time of my call was 1658. I doubt senior management will read this but if they do then pull the recording and listen to it.

Little Gem of a Company

My wife had been trying to find Mally Beauty Sticks for ages, and this was the only site that currently had them. Hadn't heard of the company before but saw a couple of good reviews so went ahead with the purchase. Excellent price and free delivery. Product arrived in 48 hours. Very impressed and will certainly be using this company again

Thank You Passport Office

Heard about long delays with passport renewal so sent mine back early with 6 months remaining. Applied online Thursday morning. Posted old passport first thing Friday morning. (signed for option £6.85 for peace of mind). Text from passport office Monday morning to say they had received it. Text Tuesday morning to say new passport had been approved. Courier knocked on my door today, Wednesday morning with new passport. I know that some other people have been having problems but credit where credit is due, this was excellent service

Review of The AA Insurance

Great Price But Bad Admin

Last month we received motor insurance rewewal quote, which was excellent. To get that price we had to renew online, but when I opened my AA app I was told that I had no active motor insurance policy. Scared the heck out of me as we had just driven round France, Italy and Switzerland potentially with no insurance. Phoned the AA and was told it was a computer glitch. Renewed insurance over the phone at the reduced price and confirmed we were paperless and the policy was e-mailed to me. Yesterday a letter arrived with 8 pages of paperwork asking if I would like to renew my insurance and gave me a quote, which was more than I had paid. Today, another pile of paperwork has arrived with my insurance renewal documents and the amount paid, which was yet again another figure. Thought we were meant to be trying to save the planet by going paperless, so I dont expect to be inundated with reams of paper. Great price but awful admin.

The Case Of The Disappearing Paint

Ordered paint from a company in Birmingham on 8th May and it was sent to Hermes on 10th. Hermes contacted me via Amazon to say parcel would arrive on 21st. 11 days to deliver a parcel 95 miles!!!! I received an update stating parcel would be delivered up to 8pm that night. As our shop was closed I sat out in my vehicle waiting for them to arrive until 9pm but surprise surprise, no delivery. Update on 22nd from Hermes saying they are running late but no info on when the parcel will finally be delivered. Its now 23rd and still no update. Will I ever see my paint?? I doubt it!!

Excellent Shopping Experience At Aldi Poynton Cheshire

Visited Aldi in Poynton last thursday and today to do the weekly shop. Yes, people were waiting outside 2m apart and it was quite a long queue. However, after about 10 minutes I was in the store. I dont think that is a long time when safety is concerned. Inside, the vast majority of shelves were stocked (even pasta and loo rolls!!!!). the staff putting out stock were really helpful when I asked for directions for a couple of items. At the checkout there was excellent signage and 2m labels on the floor.very good screening between operators and customers. One member of staff was directing people to the aisle with the least number of people waiting. Checkout staff were friendly and professional, even though they must have some concerns regarding their own safety. the whole shop probably took 15 minutes longer than normal but also a heck of a lot more relaxing as most customers were very courteous and not rushing around. i hope that if Aldi management read this review they will pass on my thanks to ALL the staff.

Excellent service. Ordered product in the afternoon and delivery arrived next day as promised. The product (heel lifts to help achilles tendon problems) seem to be working well and the pain has reduced. Will certainly use this company again.

I work on my own in a remote location…

I work on my own in a remote location and internet connection is essential. Had router problems and contacted XLN at 0900 monday morning. The technician was really helpful and went through the issues step by step in a way that was understandable to me. (I am not very computer/router/internet literate!!!!) The issues couldnt be resolved simply so he showed a lot of patience and professionalism in looking for different ways to get the problems sorted out. After about 45 minutes all issues were resolved. . Thanks very much. For XLN info the incident number is 60415518

excellent customer service

went into the Macclesfield branch this morning (14/12) to purchase a pair of boots. The assistant was busy with another customer but acknowledged me, which is always a good sign!! After a couple of minutes he tried to assist me but after running upstairs to see if they had boots in my size he had to admit defeat. The shop was busy and he could have just left it there, but did a quick check on the computer and said he could get them in by Sunday. Took my details and said he would email when the product was in store. Got an email an hour later confirming all the details. The assistant is called Alan and my wife and I were really pleased with the service, and will definately go back again.

Good Customer Service

We bought a bathroom suite from Wickes 18 months ago. Unfortunately one of the fittings on the glass shower screen broke 10 days ago. The Macclesfield store where we bought the suite didnt carry any spares but I was given a phone number to order direct. My phone request was handled very efficiently and a large bag of spares for the screen arrived by courier today. Even better was the fact that I didnt have to pay a penny towards the cost. Well done Wickes!

FOLLOW UP TO MY COMPLAINT

I had a really bad experience at the Poynton branch last Sunday and filled in the online complaints form from their customer services dept. Within an hour I received a computer generated e-mail informing me that somebody would contact me within 48 hours. On Monday morning another e-mail was sent to say that somebody from the company would be phoning to try and resolve my complaint, and sure enough within an hour I was speaking to an advisor who took my complaints seriously. I was very impressed with their attitude and withdrew my threat of not going in the store again. Went in this morning and the treatment I received could not have been better. Well done Morrisons lets hope it continues.
