The driving experience was such a letdown

The driving experience was such a let down. Booked it for my two children, we were left waiting over 45 minutes as the previous adults session had overran. Stood in the wind and the rain, with no word of how long we had to wait. On asking the ladies with the clip boards how much longer we would be waiting we all got short sharp shrift, of "we are still doing the adult session". At one point a clipboard wielding lady shouted if anyone is booked to drive the Ferrari come forward, my son excitedly waving his pink ticket from behind the barrier got shouted at they are still doing the adult session. This was 30 minutes after our starting time, so had presumed it was our session. Found them to be curt and quite rude. Seemed like they were really badly organised with not much of a clue. At the end of the adult session one of the ladies threw her clipboard on the floor with one hand and papers with the other. Summed it all up really.
So we paid for 10 laps, to be told on the day it would only be 6. We paid for the insurance and we paid for an additional drive round the track by a professional. On arrival the extras you could pay for never stopped. We paid for photos, which Everyman have processed the refund for. The computers for the photos broke, seemingly whilst we were in the queue to collect them. We were not told the computers had broken, or indeed that there was any problem, so stood in the queue for 10 minutes when we overheard 2 members of the Everyman team discussing "what a sh t show" the day was and now the computers have broken. Regarding the additional drive around the track, whilst in the queue for that, we were yet again upsold. So the drive by a professional was in a very battered BMW, that said, it looked fun and 2 laps round the track, the upsell was to pay extra again to go around in their Atom. The Atom looked great too, but what we were not told is that the Atom only goes around the track once, so the lap was over in about 20 seconds. Wish we were told we were paying more for a lap less as we would not have bothered. Having read the reviews online we were prepared for all the upselling and extras on the day, and again we were happy to go ahead with some of it. But we actually came away feeling ripped off. If we were told to pay extra for the Atom, but its only 1 lap - we would have stuck to the old BMW. If we were told there was a problem with the computers, instead of being left stood in the rain, that wouldn't have been so annoying. If we were informed that the kids session was going to be a late start we could have sat in the cafe for an hour and not the rain. Communication from Everyman would have significantly improved our day.

Several phone calls to get through to…

Several phone calls to get through to speak to someone about a faulty public charger. Calls were never answered. In trying to close my account and refunded loaded funds took 3 more attempted calls before finally getting through to someone. I will not be using BP chargers, absolute waste of time.

Absolutely abysmal customer service

Absolutely abysmal customer service. Order not received, tried calling and the phone line is either busy or when it does ring the call is hung up on. Wish I had read the reviews on here before we ordered with Decorative Aggregates. Looks like we are in for a a recall with the credit card company. So frustrating that companies like this are allowed to trade. Even more annoying that we were duped with their slogan "buy online with confidence".
EDIT: I spoke to Nia who sounds amazingly helpful - she assured me the delivery would be made by the end of the day. However as we got to the end of the day I called again and was assured that deliveries are made up to 6pm. However she would check with the delivery company and come back to me. This she did, and advised that the order would not be delivered until tomorrow. She assured me that the delivery would be an am delivery and she would call me at 9.30 am to confirm. I asked for absolute certainty as having spent one day off work, I stated that I did not want to take any more time off unnecessarily and was assured that the delivery would be received by 12 noon.
12 noon and no delivery received - and low and behold the phone lines are not answered or my call is back to being picked up and hung up on. I was so hoping to change this review to a better rating. Cannot express how disappointing dealing with this company is. If only they were forthright and honest, disgusting company with absolutely no integrity.
EDIT NO. 2: Spoke with another lady who said she would call the haulage company whilst I was on hold. I was on hold and then low and behold my call was disconnected. Now the phone line just calls out with no answer.

I paid for next day delivery, but slow to receive

I paid for next day delivery. My order was spilt up and part of it was received 2 days later and the other part on the third day. The goods were not required at this point as they were sent too late.
So I have to pay to send the goods back and I’m having a battle to get the next day delivery cost refunded to me ! Never ever will I order from House of Fraser again, very disappointing. The customer service are very unhelpful and super slow to respond.

Placed an order but cancelled due to long lead time

Placed an order, then on querying the delivery date to be told it would be another week. To be fair they cancelled the order immediately and have confirmed they will refund. I find it bizarre a company would have such long lead times, particularly when most companies deliver much quicker.

This can result in longer wait times for some products than others. We always send any orders as soon as we possibly can, but natural factors outside of our control can also dictate when they are of a suitable standard to leave us.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

Absolutely gutted i did not read the reviews on here before i used this company. I booked a wheelchair and it did not arrive as promised. They also told me I has to relinquish my consumer rights, very unethical, but in the desperation of needing a chair I accepted these terms. However with the wheelchair not arriving, I cannot get a refund from this company. I emailed and called twice and I am told that they have 14 days to respond to my email!! In the meantime I am considerably out of pocket and they are too reluctant to resolve this. In order to process a refund would take minutes, and I am staggered at how this company is treating customers, particularly when they know they are vulnerable.

Debenhams sent the wrong item. So frustrating. There’s no way to communicate this on their website - it simply states to return the item for a refund. Not risking ordering it again incase they send out the same item again.

Beyond disappointed with Explore…

Beyond disappointed with Explore Learning. During Covid both my children were offered one session per week each. After a couple of weeks I decided to cancel - as one session a week is very bad value for money. On explaining this to Explore Learning I was then informed that both boys would be able to take part in a group session. I was annoyed as we had missed so many weeks and if we had been offered this in the first place I would have been happy. Anyhow we have continued, until more recently the tutors have not been online at the set time, we were promised the missed sessions would be rescheduled, despite chasing the missed session never materialised. Explore Learning are happy to keep taking the same payments for much less sessions. Very unhappy at how much money we have wasted.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Website down, cannot access any policy information. Call customer service and kept on hold for 20 mins by Belinda Abrahams who purports to be a customer manager. Do not recommend.

The first two times I took my car here I wasn't overly impressed. However third visit my car was cleaned to a high standard. My car was absolutely disgusting and I was desperate, with low expectations I dropped the car here as it was convenient. However, very impressed with my third visit.

Terrible customer service for a premium product

I would absolutely not recommend this company due to their poor customer service and being sold to on terms that they cannot fulfil. We placed the order with them based on their promises, but they have reneged - and all this is in the terms and conditions according to an email we have received from them, so there is nothing that we can about it. Communication is appalling.
For a company that prides itself on sleep, they do not care about making life additionally stressful.

Appalling communication and best part of month for delivery!!!!

Having waited a week for an order, I telephoned to enquire where the order is. Told it would be another 18 working days!!!! Absolutely insane! Money taken straight away!
Having tried to cancel the order, I am told that this is not possible, as per the terms and conditions. Despite the fact they have not yet even picked the order!!
I am so angry that they are so dismissive and the time scales are unacceptable. Get the impression they think they can hold me to ransom as they are the only supplier of the club kit.

Following on from leaving this review (both here and on their Facebook page - as a comment on the first post I came to) I received a call from Adrian. He apologised for the bad communication and assured me the order would be sent out and I would receive it the following day. I passed on much gratitude and was extremely grateful he had stepped in and sorted this out. I told him that as soon as I was in receipt of my order I would edit my review. And here is where it should all have ended, I was happy and Allrounder Cricket were fulfilling their order - I was anticipating changing the rating from a 1 star to a 4 star. BUT following my conversation, my elation soon turned to shock as I received, what at the time, I thought to be very scary and intimidating responses to my review on Allrounder Crickets Facebook page, which I have copy and pasted below. The final insult to all of this being that the sponsorships letters ironed on to the front on the shirt are very wonky and the club logo ironed onto the trousers have a small crease in. I have sent Allrounder Cricket the photos but do not want any more dealings with them, so my son will have to wear his club cricket kit as it is.
So with a copy and paste here is the dialogue I endured on All Rounder Crickets Facebook page (incidentally I did not nor have I ever had a single email from AllRounder Cricket). No more words required to sum up this company:

All Rounder Cricket I rung on Monday 3 June as I was concerned I had not received my order (placed in 28 May) and I was told another 18 working days. By my reckoning I would be receiving the order in 27 June. This is an inordinate period of time. During the same call Monday I requested my order be cancelled, I thought this to be a reasonable request owing to the fact I was told the order had not been picked yet - this request was refused, due to your T &Cs. Subsequent to the review I left, I received a phone call and yesterday I was told the order will be here today. I graciously thanked the chap that called - I had expected to battle for a refund through PayPal. However yesterday (before your responses on this platform) I was delighted the order was in its way. I am unsure why you adopted such an aggressive attitude towards me. As I have previously stated, as soon as I am in receipt of the goods I will edit my review accordingly. I am very shocked and upset by the tone of your comments. I have stated nothing but the facts.

Terrible company

Terrible company. Took a policy out a week ago. No documents received, spent an age on the phone to be told there is a fault with the system and my call has prompted the documents to be sent out. I cannot access the online portal as this is not working either. They cannot offer anything in writing confirming I am insured. They can escalate to another department who will respond in 24-48 hours!

James from UK Power Networks cold…

EDIT: I posted the review below and contacted UK Power Networks. They promptly contacted me and I now know I was contacted by a scammer purporting to be UK Power Networks. Appreciate how quickly they responded


James from UK Power Networks cold called me today. I did not understand what he was asking of me or telling me - so asked him to pop an email over to me. His response was to shout at me "IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE EVASIVE - ENJOY THE PHONECALLS" then hang up. I am unclear as to requesting an email is being evasive, but having now received an inordinate number of phone calls from Electricity companies, I can only presume he has passed my number onto some sort of database.

Should be 5 star but the customer service is severely lacking

Our Vi-Spring bed arrived and after a first nights sleep we knew something was wrong with it. The bed was much softer on one side than the other - we ordered a medium tension on both sides. On calling the store we bought it from we were told we had to sleep on it for two weeks before they would instruct an independent company to come and inspect the bed. I emailed the head office, as at this point I felt a little fobbed off. Having emailed head office customer services I received no acknowledgement or response. So I telephoned but did not get anywhere. So I ended up emailing the MD - 4 days after sending my initial email. At this point I was actually at my wits end. Having spent so much money on a bed, which is faulty, and then to get no response was hugely stressful. The MD was very responsive, but forwarded me onto the customer service manager, who was not. Finally a company called FIRA inspected the bed and immediately confirmed the fault is with the base. Again, no response from And So To Bed, so chased them again. FIRA had confirmed they had sent the report, yet And So To Bed hadn't received it. On asking the customer service manager how they will rectify the problem, I felt he was very evasive and would pass no comment until he had seen the report from FIRA. I took no comfort at this point, even though FIRA had confirmed a fault, that And So To Bed would do anything to rectify the situation. However, after more stress, on top of terrible nights sleep owing to the bed being so uncomfortable, we finally were told that the bed would be replaced. We were so relieved, but given the standard of service, did not quite believe the replacement bed would be forthcoming. I have to say that the MD was very responsive and I believe it is his involvement that meant that anything was done at all. we did receive a new base and mattress yesterday.. it is a different bed and we had a great nights sleep.. deserving of a five star. The delivery team are impeccable, shoes on and off every time they came in and out, and even came to replace our bed after having been stuck on the motorway for hours - couldn't praise them highly enough. Indeed even if we had a faulty bed to start, but the customer service experience had been up to par, we would still have given And So To Bed a five star review. However the customer service is well below standard and it was a very stressful period not knowing if we had chucked our hard earned money away. Indeed I would have expected a call today to make sure we are happy with the bed... but we have not had one yet. In short, I would recommend the Vi-Spring bed, just be prepared for a hard slog if there is anything wrong with it.
