I’m really not happy with Explore Learning. The tutors keep changing all the time, and my child is often left on screen without being observed or properly attended to. My daughter has said several times, “They don’t explain things like you do, Mama, they just tell the answer” which is worrying since the whole point was for her to get proper teaching support.
My son hasn’t said much, but I’ve noticed that when he’s introduced to new topics in class, he often doesn’t seem to understand key concepts. When we do the activities at home, I end up having to teach him before he can continue, which defeats the purpose of paying for tutoring.
On top of that, the learning portal at home hasn’t been working properly for the past few days. I can’t access their progress or see what they’ve been working on. I’ve tried calling the Watford branch, but no one answers the phone.
From the very first meeting, I had reservations. They said the session was about assessing where my children were academically, but it felt more like a sales tactic to get us in, sit us down, and make it easier to sign us up. Still, because my kids are home-schooled, I decided to give it a try, but we’ve been really disappointed with the teaching overall.
I raised my concerns after the first month, especially about my daughter not getting proper explanations. They assured me that they would assign a consistent tutor, but that hasn’t happened. Many of the “teachers” also seem quite young, more like students themselves, and I’m not confident they have the experience to manage or teach younger children effectively.
My children previously attended Kumon, and I noticed a big difference there. At Kumon, they learned a lot more and had plenty of practice to build confidence and move toward excellence. I expected a similar standard from Explore Learning, but unfortunately, it hasn’t met our expectations at all.
We have been with Explore Learning for only two months, and both my children will be coming out of it. Overall, I don’t feel that Explore Learning provides the quality of teaching, consistency, or support that they promise, and I would not recommend them based on our experience.

There are not enough words to describe the supporting and nurturing environment that Habeedah and the team have provided for my daughter. Setting the right environment for your child to succeed is not an easy one especially when each child has their own challenges to contend with. However Explore learning have done an absolute amazing job in supporting my daughter in each step towards the 11+ exams.

BRO I HATE THIS SOOOOOO MUCH IF UR A PARENT DO NOT GET THIS FOR UR CHILD ITS SOO BORING THAT I CANT EVEN CONCENTRATE AND THE TUTORS DON'T TAKE THEIR JOBS SERIOUSLY BECAUSE THEY DON'T EVEN EXPLAIN THE TOPIC THINGALING WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER! IT HAS NOT HELPED ME AT ALL AND I RECOMMEND USING CENTURY INSTEAD AS IT IS A FUN WAY FOR LEARNING AND ALSO IT DOESN'T HAVE A FRICKING TUTOR ON YOUR WAY AND JUST DON'T GET IT OK? IF I COULD I WOULD RATE THIS -999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999/999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999

We are extremely happy with the 11 Plus course and have been meaning to leave this review for over a year. With their guidance and support, my child achieved an outstanding result and secured a place at one of the top grammar schools in the area.
A special thanks to tutors Hamza, Leanne, and Adjola – their dedication and encouragement made a real difference. We truly appreciate all the effort that went into helping our child succeed!

I am very disappointed with my experience with Explore Learning, maybe i am unlucky. They promised a £50 cashback according to their plan, but in the end they broke their promise. They used my withdrawal and a staff presentation as reasons not to honour it. Even though the manager admitted it was their staff’s mistake, the issue was eventually left unresolved.
Throughout the process, there was a complete lack of proactive communication. I had to follow up every single time just to get any response from them. This was very frustrating and unprofessional.

Explore learning canning town is excellent for my son. The new manager Natasha has really changed things. My son is really progressing. Her and her staff really work hard. Best place for my autistic son.

Really poor service, schedules not adhered to, lots of random tutors and does not match the 11 plus requirements needed to pass. Very disappointed with the online platform as not as challenging for children wanting to pass 11 plus exams. Also unable to speak to anyone when required. Don't waste your money.

Chloe and the Team at Redhill Explore Learning have been absolutely fantastic. We arrived with them to help with guidance for an 11+ and entrance exam which was in a completely different area and they have done so much to support us with this learning. They were so incredibly accommodating when we finally moved away and I simply cannot credit the team enough for their enthusiasm, structure and expertise. You are all marvellous.

Very happy with Explore Learning, already seeing significant improvements in both our children's maths and English. Really like that they are not limited to their current year group but are encouraged to go beyond.
Also, like the progress reports as we can clearly see how they are progressing.
Highly recommended!

Our child has been going to Explore Learning for almost 6 years. We are extremely happy with all the tutors and managers throughout the years. All of them try their hardest for our child. We love that Explore Learning is designed to flow at the child's pace which is different from any school. We have seen a huge improvement and growth on our son. A huge thank you for all staff at Explore Learning Redhill and especially our son's tutor Issy who is just amazing.

I think almost everything is good, but I expect more progress from my child. I would like him to learn more things, not be left with a screen.
