Very poor service

Very poor service. Placed my order for a laptop, bag, mouse and extended warranty on 19th August 2025.
It’s now 29th and still no update on shipping.
Customer service said they couldn’t understand it and that the warehouse had failed to respond to their requests for an update so they were gonna email a supervisor.
I went back onto chat to cancel the order and was told it was due to be shipped today 29th August. It’s now end of day on the 29th and it still hasn’t shipped.
If it’s this difficult to purchase an item I can only imagine how difficult it will be to get any sort of warranty help.
Save your time, money and stress levels and purchase another brand locally

The engineer contacted me the previous day to let me know what time to expect him. He arrived on time. He was extremely pleasant and very professional, while explaining everything he was going to be doing. He did an amazing job and checked that I was happy with his work. I would highly recommend him.

Fantastic Service

Fantastic Service, recently I’ve purchased several items from Radio World and all items arrive in the same condition as if you had picked them up yourself.
It’s handy having such a good shop that’s also local to me in case of any warranty issues.
All in all, a fantastic service that I would recommend to anyone.

Usually very pleased

Usually very pleased with the service from this company. I have ordered a couple of times and delivery is very quick. I usually purchase closer to home but sadly they didn’t have my requirements in stock.
Although my order of my ICOM id-50 arrived quickly, it was only sent in a Jiffy bag then in a DPD bag so no real protection. The devices box arrived damaged so not the condition I would expect an expensive item to arrive in.
I know some people say that the manufacturers box obviously did its job of protection but I like to keep my boxes as new in case I sell them on.
Another way of looking at it is I wouldn’t purchase an item in this condition if I walked into the shop.

Hi Kevin - thank you for the review. We do take care with all our despatched products. The manufacturers box is designed to protect and transport the goods which it has done. The packaging was also surrounded with bubble wrap in the jiffy bag and wrapped with the plastic DPD bag. This is more than suitable to protect the contents so I'm sorry you feel this was insufficient.

Worthless Warranty

Purchased the Worx pruner for my wife back in April 2023 which I registered on their website so as far as I knew, it was covered under warranty until at least 2026. The jaws recently stopped working so I tried to register a repair via their website, strangely it failed and an automated response said they would look into it. I then emailed them at their customer service address, they failed to respond so I finally reached out to their eBay team as again no reply.
Luckily I had purchased it via Amazon who after explaining to them that the manufacturer wasn’t interested in replying to me, they decided to except it back and refund me.
Although I do like Worx tools, if you want to purchase their brand, make sure you don't buy from them direct as getting them to honour their warranty is a nightmare.

Really good customer service from Dave

I recently took my wife shopping to the jewellery quarter. After looking in a couple of places we arrived at Design Centre. We were warmly greeted by Gemma and after deciding on an item I then saw an item for myself. As Gemma was serving my wife, Dave came and assisted me with my purchase. His customer service was great. I would definitely recommend the Design Centre. Thank you.

Let down by poor shipping

Really disappointed with the service. Their website says order by 8pm for next day delivery. I placed my order on Friday before the cut off time and it finally got delivered on Tuesday. Wasn’t even shipped until Monday. If you need your order quickly, buy elsewhere.

Failed on delivery again

Yet again Amazon have failed on their delivery service. I ordered an item yesterday for delivery today. It reached their delivery depot in Birmingham but unfortunately that is where it has been since. I have chatted with customer care who have asked me to wait another 24 hours. I explained that I didn’t think a paid for service should operate like this. After asking for part refund for failed delivery I was advised that I hadn’t paid for delivery. It appears the nearly £100 per year was not enough. I asked to chat with a manager and was advised by Julus that it wouldn’t be possible as I would be told the same. Terrible customer service from such a big company

Horrendous customer service

Purchased a game via their eBay store. Item arrived damaged. Reached out to customer service but they only appear to check messages once a week if you’re lucky. I’ve purchased from them in the past with no issues so didn’t expect any problems. I asked if they would offer a part refund if I kept the item or I could return it. It took so long for a reply I ended up reaching out to PayPal. I asked for a part refund of £10 as the game was nearly £50 on their eBay store. According to PayPal they agreed to a £10 refund if I returned the item 🤔 so I would then be out of pocket with no item. Basically if the item you order arrives in good condition then you’re all sorted. However if you have an issue, don’t expect any help from customer support. Absolutely useless.

Poor Packaging and Quality Control

Ordered a limited edition switch game for my son (The latest Zelda). It comes in a collectors edition box but unfortunately it was only shipped out in a plastic bag providing no protection. It arrived on time with Yodel but it arrived damaged and the security seals were broken. After phoning and eventually speaking to an agent, another order was placed and I was assured it would be sent in a box. The replacement order arrived today and although it had some bubble wrap around it, it was still in a plastic bag. Yet again one security seal was broken and 3 of the corners of the item were damaged. All this could have been avoided if the items were sent out in better packaging. 3 reviews on very’s website gave it 5 stars. I tried to leave a negative review and it was rejected. Not sure I’ll be using Very again if they can’t protect the item’s they are selling.

Horrendous Customer Service Experience

Would have given it no stars if it were an option.
I purchased The Green Mile (Steelbook Version) but unfortunately it arrived dented. I reached out and received the following reply “We are very sorry to hear that your item has arrived not as expected. We strive to send out the highest quality products. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer a replacement for the reported damage to the packaging with blemishes or dents, or tears in the packages.”
Wish I’d checked trust pilot before purchasing.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
“WB Shop is operated under license from Warner Bros. Consumer Products by Snow Commerce”
I will also forward this to Warner Bros themselves in the hope they change the operator from Snow Commerce

Disappointing warehouse team

Quick customer service response, service let down by their warehouse dispatch team. Ordered 2 steelbooks on Sunday, estimated shipping Monday. Still nothing on Tuesday. Told an issue caused delay in shipping. Now Wednesday and still not shipped. Can’t cancel the order as it’s in the warehouse, the warehouse can’t ship it for whatever reason they feel like making up. Until their warehouse team improve order elsewhere.
No offer of shipping refund either.
Looks like I’ll be asking my bank for a reverse transaction charge as they fail to supply the goods in a timely manner.

Great driver, poor handling of parcel by DPD

Although the delivery driver was very professional I was disappointed with the condition of the delivered parcel. Although some blame has to go with the sender as my item was only sent in a jiffy bag, I'm sure DPD could have taken more care. My item has had to be returned for a refund.
