Contacted them to ask for more…

Contacted them to ask for more measurement details on a bed I was planning to buy. 4 days later no response- you’ve missed out on a sale. If you can’t respond to an email before I buy doesn’t give me much faith in your customer service if something goes wrong.

Don’t give them your number…

Made the mistake of viewing a property with them almost 3 years ago and they have hounded me ever since.
I have asked them to remove me from contact lists, blocked their numbers from at least 3 different offices & they just phone from new ones!
At one point they even called me asking if I wanted to sell a property I rented from them that I’d moved out of 3 years before!
The house I viewed was in Thetford, I’ve been called by that office, bury st Edmund’s, Dereham and Norwich!
I don’t want to sell my property & if I did I wouldnt go anywhere near Haart!
Hideous company.
Edited 21/5/2025 literally called me everyday this week about my non existent property search. Gina from the thetford office If I’m not responding - why are you still calling me!

Not a great experience

Not a great experience, ordered the Victoria dressing table which arrived with a huge amount of damage. It was packaged well so I’m assuming this item had been returned before and just sent back out.
Trying to get hold of anyone at MM is like pulling teeth. They have a 48-72 hour working day response time to every email sent so it took a week from notification of the damage to get the item collected almost another week after that to get a refund. From seeing the reviews on here I’d wager some other poor sod will be receiving the same knackered table very soon.
They offered me £30 discount to keep the item ( it was do damaged they’d have had to pay me to keep it!) or return - thought it was a bit odd I wasn’t offered an exchange.
They look like they have some nice stuff but after this experience I’m unlikely to order again.
Edit: in response to the reply, there was no external damage to the box when it arrived, the courier even took a photo of it. The polystyrene around the item was unbroken, and the main part of the damage was underneath the table which wouldn’t have been caused by being bashed in transit anyway. It can only have been packed like that. In reply to your response times, a first response might have taken 24 hours- on at least 1 occasion not around a weekend it was 48 hours so your reply is misleading.

I can confirm that your table would not have left our warehouse in that condition and would confidently say the damage to the table occurred during transit. Please accept my apologies. Your first email arrived to us on Thursday 30th January at 13.25 my team had replied to your email by Friday lunchtime the following day. Our time frame quoted is to allow for weekends, bank holidays and busier periods when of course our response time is longer than normal. I can see that you confirmed you wished to have a collection only which was scheduled and a full refund has been issued. I can confirm the table was disposed of and not sent onto another customer.

Quick delivery, the tree arrived earlier than expected and is beautiful. As you’d expect with a luxury purchase it was packaged beautifully, and the gloves and tree bag are a nice touch.

Scammers

Bought the Coldplay cd to get the pre-sale code (apparently didn’t even need to buy it to get it). Wasn’t sent the code, tried to cancel the cd & they’ve taken a week to respond now telling me it’s too late to cancel as it’s already been despatched (however I can return it at my own cost when it eventually turns up…)
Absolute scam they’ve purposely done this as they know people are less likely to return it so can keep the money. Lesson learnt.

Disappointing service

The sideboard itself looks beautiful although for the price I would have expected solid wood rather than a chipboard back.
I’ve knocked stars off for delivery. One of the reasons I picked this sideboard was because it came ready assembled, so therefore I expected it to be unboxed and placed in my room of choice. On delivery I was told as the item was self assembly they weren’t allowed to touch it or unbox it ( it needed feet screwing on - everything else was done) so a £1000 item was dumped without me being able to do any sort of check that the item had no defects.
I also then had to struggle to unbox this huge sideboard on my own & ive been stuck with the packaging.
Felt a really shoddy service for a premium item.

So after writing my initial review regarding customer service Luther Bennett have gone over and above to put things right- it’s always a mark of a company how they deal with things when they go wrong and so I wanted to amend my review to reflect that.
I really appreciate the time you’ve taken to personally contact me and the offer to extend the discount. It’s a really great quality product - still to be tested in the car yet but if it works I would have absolutely no qualms about ordering another.. Thank you for providing great customer service.

Makes me really sad to write a bad…

Makes me really sad to write a bad review for qvc as I’ve ordered from them for years now and always been happy, but over the last year have had not great experiences which has put me off ordering with them.
I ordered a shark hoover which apparently went “missing” via Evri. I was told there were no more in stock so my money would be refunded but they would honour the original tsv price if it came back in stock. Great so far- would be even better if they let you know the item was back in stock rather than you having to check but hey ho…. Couple of weeks later I saw the item was back in stock, called qvc and the tsv price was honoured. The hoover that was delivered was faulty. I had to go via Shark to confirm it was faulty then back to qvc to get it sent back. Again no more in stock so no replacement and I would be refunded in 10 days. At this point I gave up and ordered it via Shark.
Last month I ordered a duvet- over a week after payment it hadn’t been dispatched - I was told to contact them again 5 days later if it still hadn’t arrived. 2 weeks after ordering- still no duvet. Qvc said they would look into it and get back to me and to let them know if it hadn’t arrived within a few days. Almost 3 weeks - still no duvet and no contact from qvc. Messaged them to no response. Called them where an advisor told me a new one would be sent out straight away. 4 days later still no duvet and I had an email asking if it had arrived yet and if not would I like a refund or it to be sent again. At that point I gave up and got my money back!
Not sure what’s going on QVC but sort it out please

Appalling service - avoid

Not sure what’s going on with Hermes at the moment, I’ve had 1 parcel lost in transit, 2 they said they’ve delivered (which they haven’t and no photo proof of delivery from them) and 2 which they’ve held onto for over a week before being delivered, and that’s in the last 3 weeks. In every occasion where I’ve reported it to Hermes they’ve told me to report it to the seller and get another one sent. No accountability at all, but I’m sure one of their employees is having a lovely time with my fancy bubble bath they’ve nicked.
I actively try to avoid companies that use Hermes now as it’s not worth the hassle.
