Wayrates are falsly advertising and stealing peoples money
So upset I did not check trustpilot before ordering. I ordered Army Green jacket and recieved a Brown jacket. After emailing I received reply offering me less than half the cost in credit for the site or refunded to my bank. I have contacted paypal to assist with full refund as they could not offer guarentee of sending the right coloured item. They are internet clothing selling pirates. I came here and see tons more one star reviews too, so more fool me.
I sent another email asking for a full refund or to send the right item whilst I am waiting for paypal to hopefully help, in hope and recieved a similar generic cold hearted, poor customer service type email saying:

Scam clothing company
Second review of Wayrates as they responded back through Trust pilot on my first one star review they suggested in a nice response that I contact their customer service email or phone number. So far I’ve sent four emails over four weeks and zero response or acknowledgment. Numerous phone calls with no answer. I would like to attach photos to this review to compare the advertised product with the reality. The quality the actual is unbelievably poor. Clearly they have no intention of refund or return.
Standard replay. Copy and paste and what I now realise is that if they respond with this standard response the review writer risks having the review removed hence my further update to ensure this scam company remains exposed as a scam company.

FRAUDULENT Business Practices – Late Delivery, No Refund, and Dismissive Service

I placed an order with Wayrates on June 13, 2025 (Order #2474825061327) and spent $129.74. From the very beginning, the experience was fraudulent and unacceptable:
Their site promised a 10% “NEW customer” discount that was never honored, despite my immediate email request.
The order confirmation said items would ship within 7 days. Instead, the product arrived 4 weeks later — far beyond the promised timeline, making it useless.
When I contacted customer service, I was met with insulting “offers”: first $6, then $39 to keep the items. Their so-called return policy is deliberately difficult and misleading.
I followed every instruction:
Paid $21.05 out of pocket to return the items on 7/18/25.
USPS confirms the package was delivered on 7/22/25 at 12:16 PM to their Santa Fe Springs, CA address.
Their own policy says refunds are issued within 7–15 business days after receipt. Yet, today is 8/24/25 — more than a month later — and I still have no refund.
Customer service has been dismissive and evasive, questioning the proof I provided and ignoring their obligations. Every response felt scripted and designed to wear down customers into giving up.
The reality:
$129.74 spent on the order
$21.05 wasted on return shipping
$0 refunded
Weeks of frustration and dishonest treatment
⚠️ This is outright fraud. Wayrates operates with false advertising, unacceptable delays, refusal to honor returns, and terrible customer service. They take your money and dismiss your concerns.
Avoid this company at all costs and report them if you’ve had a similar experience.
8/27/2025-They have not adknowledge the return of goods and now they have added additional details to the return instructions priorly provided. Again SCAM, avoid at all cost, they don't honor their return policies.

Ordered several (counterfeit) items
Ordered several items. All counterfeit goods!! Appalling scam. Was offered £50 compensation by Wayrates. Have declined and instructed PayPal to persue full compensation. Unfortunately, this means sending items back to China at huge expense. Total waste of time and money. Don’t be fooled. These people know exactly what they’re doing. They know you won’t want to go to further expense returning their garbage. Buyer beware!

NO GO WEBSITE/COMPANY - RIP OFF!!
This company is a definite NO GO & DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, they also trade as Popopies trading. They WILL rip you off, their clothes are counterfeit & very poorly made. I sent back my items(tracked Royal Mail) & complied with their return policy only to have them deny me my full refund, stating that they have not received the returned parcel, but I had an email asking me to pay postage for them to return my parcel. I have had to open a case with PayPal to try & get my money back but this has taken nearly a month. Please don’t have any interaction with this website/company.
UPDATE ON THIS COMPANY- they will send you inferior and poor quality goods and when you send these goods back, they will NOT give you a refund. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY & contact trading standard to report them, as I have given them all the info they asked for & still they have stolen my money & kept the goods I returned.
