#113 Glyn

Excellent service from Glyn. There was an initial miscommunication with HQ about the repair work needed but Glyn stepped in and got everything resolved within 24 hours. Really happy with both Glyn's work and how he helped to sort out the problem. Our boiler pipework is now fully repaired and not leaking so very happy indeed!

I called yesterday afternoon with a…

I called yesterday afternoon with a slight drip underneath the heat pump.
At 09.00 this morning engineer Nick 829 arrived and fixed the problem as well as resetting the system and
advising in use of the thermostat and activating the Legionnaire flush.

The boiler was serviced and the heating…

The boiler was serviced and the heating circuit/zones, after the service did not lead to some radiators having any heat. A heating engineer was engaged to fix the problem. This led to the diagnosis of a flow issue. Engineer 171 came today, less than a day after the heating engineer and diagnosed the problem. Not the pump but a failed divertor valve on the boiler.

This was no mean achievement! After the engineer explored the architecture of the heating system.

Both of the engineer from Vaillant who attended the boiler were knowledgeable, courteous, engaging and immensely helpful. Talking through the problem and imparting useful tips on running the system.

Engineer 171 solved our problem. In diagnosing we also found an explanation for the symptoms!
