Amazing all round service by Mark…

Amazing all round service by Mark (109).

Mark phoned the morning of the appointment to give me his ETA, he arrived and found the fault (from the installer, not Vaillant) and put it right straight away.

He also took the time to talk me through the system and point out some potential issues with my install that I'm now able to get fixed by my installer.

Overall, a super friendly and efficient service and extra time was taken to show me what he had found instead of just handing me a list- he was also happy to answer any questions I had.

All around great service from Powergy.

All around great service from Powergy.

Harry initially got in touch following my request for a quote, initial design was done very quickly and he was happy to amend the system and provide alternative options when I asked.

The day of the install went very smoothly, the team turned up in the morning, discussed the plan for where the powerwall + gateway was going and got to work. By the afternoon everything was connected and running, they were happy to run me through the system and answer any questions.

The install was very tidy and the powerwall looks great. They even found a broken tile on the roof and went out to buy a replacement and just replaced it for me.

Highly recommend for a competitive solar/battery quote and tidy work!

Avoid at all costs, no geniune guarantee offered

As many others have commented, poor quality mattress that ends up sagging and they will not honour the guarantee as they are saying the company went into liquidation but they are still trying to sell mattress and offering a 10 year guarantee.

Pedder dealt with the sale of our property and since we switched the interest in the flat increased straight away. Great service from Mollie and Carolina who were proactive the whole time and also did a great job keeping in touch with our buyers throughout the process.

The volume of 1 star reviews on Trustpilot really do describe our experience. We purchased our house through Taylor Robinson, and unfortunately, the service we received after our offer was accepted was terrible.

To begin with, we were never told our point of contact had changed – we only found out after some of my emails were ignored and I ending up calling.
We were then looked after by Kelly, who just didn’t seem to care one bit; it was very different from the agent we used to sell our property and the effort they put into looking after our buyer.

The worst part of the experience was driving 1.5 hours to come and view the property after it was vacated – they sent an agent to show us around, and we couldn’t get into the property; it turned out they had an old set of keys. I understand mistakes happen, but you would expect an estate agent to have the correct set of keys for a vacant property they’d sold or at least to make an effort to rectify the situation instead of telling us “The sellers are out of the country” just for them to miraculously return and drop off the correct keys a couple of days later. To make matters worse, there was no sort of apology following this – just them trying to justify it by explaining that the locks have been changed – no acceptance that they should have known they held the correct keys before booking a viewing and us driving down.

Even on the completion day, we had issues – they phoned once to tell us it was complete. Unfortunately, I missed this call – but you would expect them to understand that we might be busy moving out of our property or driving, so maybe it’s a good idea to phone again on my mobile? Nope, they just sent an email and moved on.

Even when arriving at our new property, I was reminded by how little care they had – the set of keys they gave us included the 2 old keys that failed to open the door previously. Had I not known how poor their service was, I would have thought they were having a laugh… You might also expect to receive keys for the garage or at least some sort of explanation that they don’t have them, nope, nothing. We were also given just 1 copy of the keys which is appalling for a house they had sold and contracts had been exchanged over a week prior. They did indeed call us over a week later to say they’d been given more copies but by that point, we’d already changed the locks… do you not believe it was your responsibility to make sure you held all sets of keys before completion, or that it would have been courteous to at least try and get us keys for the garage?

No doubt there will be justifications for the above, but everything written is what happened to us which Taylor Robinson had no problem with at the time.

Terrible service

Unfortunately for us, Setfords were appointed as the firm dealing with a lease extension on behalf of residents.

We were charged £500+VAT for Setfords to engage any further with enquiries relating to the lease extension completion date and the sale of our flat because a few emails had already been answered to pay for the time the solicitor had already spent (answering some emails).

Very slow in answering emails even though they knew the urgency of our situation and on many occasions emails were ignored.


If you can help it, avoid at all costs as it doesn't, in my opinion, seem that they care about their clients.

Pushy rude telemarketers

As others have mentioned they will harass you with calls.

When you do answer they are very pushy and rude. I explained that I had already purchased another policy yet they still wanted me waste both our giving over details of my cover.

When I said I had a work call, the telemarketer couldn't just let me go but he had to say 'oh how convenient'. If this is how you are training your people to talk on the phone I'm very glad I wen't elsewhere.

1 week later no coffee and no reply to email asking to cancel subscription.

I'm sorry that's not true, I had to email twice and wait almost a week for a reply, I've updated my review because the coffee came eventually and is nice, but your response times and site could be improved.

not solar protective at all

Blinds arrived in good time and look nice but we ordered them with solar protective coating and they really do not reflect heat all.

They get incredibly hot and transfer a lot of heat inside.
