Fraud

I was receiving an amazing service initially from my designer. Eventually transferred 50% of the total payment to order. Shortly after the website is down, numbers are inactive, stores are closed. I wonder if my order ever was transferred to Lago or they just kept all the money knowing they are about to become insolvent.

FRAUD ALERT

FRAUD ALERT – In June we ordered three fitted wardrobes from Living Space UK, Islington store. After paying more than half the total amount upfront, the company became nearly impossible to reach. We’ve been waiting for the wardrobes over three months with little to no communication, each email response was requiring multiple follow-ups .... until last week, when we found out that Living Space suddenly closed both their stores in London and shut down their website.
They basically disappeared with our money (and of all other customers’) and we will never get our furniture.
This was a fraud. Living Space is operated by Indigo Furnishings LTD.
Hopefully, they are not going to re-open a new business, if it happens, I would highly recommend people to avoid this company at all costs.

Anyone knows what happened with this company?

In August I ordered a sofa from the shop in Fulham. A few weeks later they called me because the frabric I have choosen was not available (?!) and I had to choose another fabric on the website as they didn't have the samples in the shop!
Now they disappeared. They are not replying to my emails and phone calls and the website is down. I have already paid 1,500 for the sofa and I have the impression I will never receive it.

We had a wonderful experience with Living Space & Partners. The furniture quality is exceptional, and the pieces are even more beautiful in person. The entire team was incredibly professional and helpful throughout the process. A special shout-out to Stephane for his outstanding interior design advice. He has a fantastic eye and made our space feel both elegant and personal. I highly recommend them!

Excellent Service and Support from LivingSpace UK

I recently needed a replacement part for my Lago sideboard and was genuinely impressed by how smoothly everything was handled. From the moment I got in touch, Stephane was incredibly helpful, professional, and quick to respond.

She made what could have been a frustrating experience feel effortless. Stephane clearly knows her stuff and went out of her way to ensure the correct part was ordered ready for pickup.

Great customer service like this is hard to come by these days, and I really appreciate the attention to detail and care shown throughout the process. Big thanks to Stephane and the team at LivingSpace UK—highly recommended!

Customer service is really poor

We Recently purchased some ex-display products from Living Space and partners. We purchased a Lago kitchen and TV modular unit.

Overall i am happy with my products but i have to mark this company down primarily on customer service. As the items were ex display i was expecting the odd mark here and there and accepted that as a trade off for the discounted price i paid. However when we unwrapped the kitchen immediately it was apparent that the gas hob had been damaged. It was dented along the right hand side in two places and badly at the bottom corner. We notified living space and partners about this immediately. I have to say the uptake was incredibly slow and i had to keep calling and emailing to get someone to look into this for us as we urgently needed to use the hob. I fully expected the hob to be replaced and i asked our gas fitter to try and fit the damaged hob until we could get a replacement sent. My gas fitter refused to fit it as he said it was unsafe as the cut out for the hob was too big for the hob and the hob actually fell through the hole when he was trying to fit it and confirmed this was dangerous.

We immediately let living space know about this. Part of the problem is you can only email their customer services which is frustrating. Some things can be dealt with quicker and easier by actually speaking to somebody. Anyway customer services kept asking for photographs, and then videos and then pictures of the rest of the kitchen too (not sure about the relevance of that). It was also suggested that the hob may have been damaged by us when it fell through the gap in the worktop. I wouldn't be asking for this problem sorting if i had damaged the hob myself!

So after a couple of weeks of going backwards and forwards the offer we have is they can send me a new hob at a discounted price. I am disappointed that i have to pay for another hob when the hob originally sent was damaged, not fit for purpose and dangerous. We also feel our integrity has been questioned with the insinuation that we have damaged the hob when trying to fit it which I personally found insulting. The final response i got was 'as the kitchen was sold as ex display it is not perfect... Again as stated above i was not expecting the item to be perfect, but i expected it to be fit for purpose which the hob certainly wasn't.

So that is my full and honest review of this company. They clearly put a lot more into selling you their products than they do looking after their customers. If you have a problem then don’t expect any help, you will most likely be left on your own to sort things out. I have since tried to contact customer services a couple of times for some help with the appliances that were supplied with our kitchen and got no response at all from them which i found very unprofessional.

We feel a 2 star rating is unjustified and uncalled for and the full facts have not been addressed.

You purchased a completely kitchen from our ex display section which had been discounted from £40.000 to £20.000.

The kitchen had been in storage for quite sometime but had been removed from display showing no evidence of faults otherwise we would have listed them in the description.

Upon delivery the kitchen was checked and signed for however upon installation you found a dent in the gas hob and said it was too small for the worktop cut out. Of course we questioned this since it had been on display for two years with no such issue with non-fitting.

As a good will gesture and to conclude matters we provided you with a brand new Miele gas hob (still boxed) much lower than cost price so we feel that a 2 star rating for a kitchen with 1 single fault that we resolved seems extremely unfair and we as you to kindly remove it.

Fantastic furniture company

Living Space is a fabulous furniture store with a fantastic collection. Matteo from the Fulham branch was brilliant in helping me find the right design to suit the renovation of my new flat and guided me through the whole process with a site visit and detailed renders representing my finished products. It is also very helpful that they deliver and install all their products. Excellent service and highly recommended.

Furnishing our flat

The person helping us was knowledgeable about their products and had a design background. I never felt pressured into making decisions and felt we worked together as a team.
We are extremely happy with the end result.

* WARNING do not give these people you money poor, unprofessional organisation they supply damaged goods. And mistreat your home*

It has been 8 months since I took delivery of furniture from this company who in the process damage my staircase I raised the issue in Jan 23 to date Living Space have not had the decency to rectify the issue. They have constantly lied, I had. To keep chasing. Damaged furniture has been labelled imperfections. Why would you charge premium price for “imperfection”?
Obviously no QA prior to delivery

“ Thankyou for your email , the contents of which have been duly noted.
We delivered your desk on Weds 9th Aug and received the report from our install team yesterday.
As per our usual procedures the query is forwarded onto the manufacturers for their input, which in this case was actioned yesterday ( the day after delivery) However, the Italian summer shutdown has now started and we may not receive a response until the manufacturers re open in a few weeks, so please rest assured we are dealing with the matter.

From the report I can see that the desk has some very slight imperfections in the finish. I would have offered a return visit to touch up the imperfections , but I understand that our installers offered to complete this for you upon installation, but you declined. (The manufacturers send touch up lacquer with each order to enable us to correct this type of matter if required, as generally they do not perceive it as a fault)
Naturally I will be in contact to update you once I receive a reply from them.

With regard to the stair subject. - Your full details were sent to the French polishers ‘Osbond and Tutt’ who quoted us for the job back in January, we confirmed for them to proceed. Now I understand from your email that they did not contact you? If this is the case we will follow-up with them.

Great experience working with Valentina to design very personal furniture

I found Living Space through online searches for Italian furniture for my flat. My parents previously used Poliform, so we have some experience in made to measure furniture.

I've worked with VALENTINA at the Islington showroom multiple times and I would thoroughly recommend her design services.

1. The first time was for two wardrobes. The whole experience was great. Valentina is really helpful and provided useful guidance and tips, whilst still letting me have the freedom I wanted to design something very personal. I was really happy with the end product (two Presotto wardrobes). The fitters were fantastic: friendly, careful and efficient.
2. I was so thrilled with my wardrobes that my parents decided to order the same Presotto option for their dressing room. They had a similar positive experience of working with Valentina.
3. I recently returned to design a wall unit for my living room. The design process was similarly great, with lots of iterations back and forth, before finally settling on a design. It is a huge shame that Presotto will be limiting their finishes, so I was glad I managed to order before that happened.
Unfortunately the quality has not been quite as I had expected, and one recommendation I would have is that Living Space also send an isometric view of the design so that it is easier to visualise from multiple angles.

Extra special service

I live abroad and had to order furniture for my home in Scotland. The team were really helpful in finding exactly what I needed. Then when there was delivery issues (not their fault - courier issue) Spencer went above and beyond and arranged delivery for me (400 miles away) on a weekend which isn’t usually possible at short notice. Just so I could have a dining table for Christmas. I couldn’t have been more grateful!!
The furniture itself is gorgeous. I’m delighted with it.
If I had to give any constructive criticism - it would be helpful for customers to be able to speak to the team that arrange delivery directly rather than over email.
But overall, amazing company with fabulous staff!

We are extremely pleased with our…

We are extremely pleased with our lounge and bedroom furniture from Living Space Fulham.
Stephane created beautiful designs based on our ideas and has been very helpful and pleasant to deal with. He quickly grasped our style preferences and guided us through the process of choosing colours and finishes - the result is perfect for us.
For various reasons our project had to be delayed several times; Stephane was very understanding and accommodating which made the process much less stressful than it might have been.
The fitting team were also excellent and a pleasure to deal with.
