There was a member of staff called Kadie who worked hard to find the right shoe size for me. Very patient, polite and attentive and a credit to her employer

Very good selection of coats x staff very helpful fetching different sizes x came out with two coats and 3 waistcoats 👍

I went into the shop to try on some walking boots I had seen earlier on the weekend. Olivia was very helpful in getting the right size to try them on, an extra pair of socks when I asked for them and even got me a shopping trolley as. We found a few more items we liked. We were in a the shop for quite a while and whilst it was busy I felt at all times there was plenty of staff around to help but not push you to buy anything. I will definitely return.

Emma, the store assistant was helpful, patient and resourceful until we were able to find the perfect fit.

Amelie was excellent. Very helpful, patient and professional. I tried on 4 pairs of Merrel boots and she was knowledgeable about the products

I only popped into the Banbury store to purchase an item I had already selected and I don’t normally like assisted shopping.

Shaun however, came over, took the time to go over the features of the product, further gave me suggestions of products to up grade my kit when I need to. He wasn’t trying to force sell me, more sharing his knowledge and experience to make my own judgement/decision. Knows his stuff & friendly.

The sharing knowledge approach has made me want to go back into this store again pick Shaun’s brains when I require further items/upgrades.

Jess was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. Thanks to her expert advice I felt confident investing in two outdoor coats. One for me and one for my daughter. I don’t usually spend this much on jackets, but Jess’s guidance on fit, warmth and value made all the difference.

A big factor in my decision was the GO Outdoors Membership, by paying £5 it saved me far more at the till. The membership price versus non-membership price was a no-brainer. After a week of wearing my coat I’m noticeably warmer and can really feel the benefits of a higher-quality jacket. I’ve already recommended the store to friends and family. Thank you, Jess!

Silas was very knowledgeable and patient when it came to buying new walking boots, I think that I tried on 7 pairs before making my final choice. It is also very reassuring, when buying specialised equipment, to be served by someone who knows about the product and understands the field first-hand. Tuesday, 7pm is an excellent time to shop, it was very quiet.

Visited Banbury store 03/10/2025 looking for walking boots, wasn't really sure what I wanted but was advised and guided by Jess. Full of knowledge, took the time to make sure I bought the correct walking boots for me after discussion. Soon as I put them on I knew they were the right choice. Excellent customer service, bought a waterproof jacket to go with my goretex boots.

I came into GO outdoors looking for stuff I couldn’t find Emma saw and helped me find everything I needed very friendly and approachable great service

First time in the store and was impressed with the selection of products. Very clean. I spoke to a member of staff to ask if they had a particular product and she took me directly to it and stayed while I was deciding size. Very pleasant. I was made to feel very valued as a customer
