If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a dress online and when it arrived I decided it wasn’t the one for me so I returned it. The return process is horrible. 3 calls where I waited over 1... See more

Merly and Silvana in alterations…
Merly and Silvana in alterations changed the zipper of my dress at the last minute.
Great service!!
Amazing experience
Today myself, the bride to be and another friend visited David’s bridal in Watford . What a wonderful experience we had. Amy was fantastic wow, I cannot begin to praise her enough from the moment we walked in, throughout our stay and when we left. I highly recommend this store and with customer service from Amy you can’t go wrong at all.
Thank you
David’s Bridal online is HORRIBLE
My goal was to buy a prom dress, and that I did, with great difficulty. I went to my local David’s Bridal to try on some dresses a few months ago, and they were wonderful! They just didn’t have the size I needed, so I turned to David’s Bridal online. I had a Visa gift card for a certain amount of money, and I was going to pay the rest with my card. The rest ended up only being $6, and David’s Bridal online doesn’t let you use two different cards, for some weird reason. The catch was that I couldn’t get to my local shop to pay in-person because I don’t have a car. I tried everything to be able to pay for this dress- tried to see if I could put more money on my gift card, I asked if there was any more deals I could add on to drop the price down just six more dollars, called my local shop to see if I could give the cards over the phone, I even asked if my sister could come in to pay (because it was an online gift card that I could just send to her, she lives near that David’s Bridal, and she could just pay the extra $6 on her card) but they said no to all of it. I was baffled- I am a paying customer, and they wanted to make this extremely difficult for me. Anyways, my work around was getting that gift card mailed to me as an actual card that I could use for other expenses, and just used my money to pay for the dress after my next paycheck. So my next paycheck comes, I buy the dress (which came very fast!) but I go out onto my porch, and the dress was in a plastic David’s Bridal bag, A PLASTIC BAG and it had a bunch of rips in both layers of the plastic. Why would such an expensive dress come in such terrible packaging? Luckily the dress wasn’t ruined, but I took pictures just in case it was. And here’s the icing on the cake: they sent me the wrong size that they said was out of stock. I ordered an 8, they sent me a 10. Luckily, it ended up fitting perfectly, and I looked absolutely gorgeous! Until David’s Bridal online has a way to pay with more cards and has better packaging for such expensive merchandise, I will not be ordering from them again. I’m a very nice, happy person, and hate having to write reviews like this, but there was just too much that went wrong for me not to share.
Julie at David's Bridal in Braehead…
Julie at David's Bridal in Braehead Glasgow was amazing. We could not have had a better experience and nothing was too much trouble for her. We were not rushed and she even got the seamstress out on two occasions to give us advice. We found the perfect dress and can't thank Julie enough. Would definitely recommend David's Bridal Braehead.
trust them!
I just came from a different horrific experience ordering bridesmaids' dresses from a different website. I figured I would leave a positive review. David's bridal shipped my dress in a weeks time and it was perfect. loved my dress and the quality was worth it.
A big shout out to Tuhina a
A big shout out to Tuhina at David’s Bridal At Birmingham. She was absolute ⭐️ Nothing was too much for her. She genuinely wanted to help us find a perfect prom dress for my daughter. It was close to 6 n time for her to be off, but still she stayed back n helped my daughter try out dresses and even brought heels for us to gauge the correct length. An asset to the team.

Debra R at the Hobart Indiana store made the experience quick smooth and a happy one.
Very professional and pleasant.
If you are after an alteration
If you are after an alteration, make sure you check prices before the appointment-apparently it is the customer's responsibility to find out if the shop has hiked up their prices! Whatever!!
Really awful experience!
Really awful experience! DAVIDS BRIDAL HAS GONE INTO ADMINISTRATION . The Manager told us there was loads of stock then proceeded to tell us there is limited stock. The dresses looked very cheap and tatty but were very costly, you could only buy the dresses that were in the shop, a lot had pulls in. I said my colours were nude/champagne and I was told it’s not a popular colour! Really disappointed , we walked out and didn’t try anything on.
Avoid this shop at all costs
Avoid this shop at all costs. Staff lie, didn’t order a dress they said they had, lied that it was in the store to collect, passed the buck for their mistakes between stores, no apology, chaotic, shambles then try to rip you off with alterations that cost 3 times the cost of the dress. Dresses poor quality and not worth the money. Do not trust a word they say.
Poor!!!
Poor!!!
Staff are rude, unprofessional & I wouldn’t waste any money or time on this place.
Can never get through to them, never keep in contact, take your money but doesn’t provide any care to your experience.
Shadine at the Watford store was…
Shadine at the Watford store was amazing. My friend and I came bridesmaids shopping before we invited the other 6 bridesmaids. Shadine was very helpful explaining the different ranges taking the time to make us feel welcome and she was very informative. We asked for her opinion at the end and she was explained the right cut for our figures which helped us to make our decisions. We then booked again with her and the Bride to be purchased all the dresses thanks to Shadine being so helpful. We had visited the store for the brides dress which she order on a second visit although this was not with Shadine. The other lady was not so helpful, she was rushed and didn’t fully give the bride to be what she asked for. Upon our second visit the manager assigned someone else I can’t recall her name but she was helpful but Shadine I have to say provided that personal experience in shopping which would make the group recommend the store.
Katie from Braehead is a star!
Cannot recommend Katie from David’s Bridal Braehead enough! She’s an absolute star and picked out a wildcard dress that turned out to be the one on my first ever appointment! Best experience ever, she made me feel so comfortable and at ease and was so knowledgable about all the designers. The rest of the staff were super friendly and helpful too.
Worst return ever.
Worst return ever.
BUYER BEWARE
I bought two dresses and a shawl on Saturday. I checked their return policy and they said it was OK to return items within seven days.
On Monday, after my family and I decided on a dress, I tried to return one of the dresses. But, unlike every other retailer I frequent, they wouldn't process the return without the original reciept - the purchasing credit card was not sufficient. So I drove all the way home to fetch my original reciept.
All good, right?
Not even close. For some unknown reason, the original reciept was not enough to give me my money back. They wouldn't process the reutrn without an ID and credit card. I HAD THE RECIEPT! Why do you need anything more?
OK, fine, I've had it at this point. I give them my ID, credit card, and original reciept. They processed the reutrn AND WOULD NOT RETURN MY RECIEPT. IT'S MY PROPERTY! I have two more items on that reciept. What if I want to return those items? Now I can't do that because I don't have my original reciept?
To add insult to injury, after much arguing, they printed out a copy of my original reciept from their terminal instead of giving me MY reciept. Really? They had my reciept all the time and could have just printed it out and used it just like every other retailer in Southern California. I think that this "policy" is designed to keep you from returning stuff, even though they have a return policy.
Buyer beware.
Great service!
I went to the Birmingham uk store with my mom to find a wedding dress at short notice and it was a great experience. Ashleigh was an amazing help and suggested new dresses that I loved but never would have thought to try on!
My daughter fell in love with a Prom…
My daughter fell in love with a Prom dress in Davids Bridal Watford last year in the sale. It was the last one they had but was 2 sizes to big for her. The sales team assured me the alterations team could do anything to fix it and make it fit and that the alterations were not that expensive, figures around £60-£100 were quoted. Fair enough. Fast forward to getting an actual quote for alterations and I've just been quoted over £230! Utterly outrageous, dishonest service. A bride was having the exact same issue with her wedding dress. The sales team will basically tell you anything to get a sale. Unless the dress you're buying fits you perfectly or needs very minimal alterations to 'make it work' I would steer clear or at the very least mentally add £200-£300 on top of your purchase price and then decide if its still the 'dress of your dreams'.
Run, Don't Walk Away From Here
I ordered my dress back in December and they lost it so much and kept telling me different stories about where it was. I got it very end of March (but barely). I contacted customer service so many times and they refused to do a thing for me. They kept telling me that it was in in store order and that I had to deal with the store. I kept having to go down to the store in person many times and they could not even find my dress. I needed this dress altered and they told me it would be at least another month until they could get to it. Well if I waited that long, I'd have no dress for my wedding. Jokes on me though in the end because I had to take it some place else and pay them another 350 dollars and it still doesn't fit right because they couldn't alter it properly due to the fact they do not have the beads there. I spent over 1k on a dress I can not wear. You literally can not call them or email them since they do not care about you and will not respond. I literally could only recommend this place if the dress fits you and you can walk out with it. I should have went elsewhere when it took them 5x to alter my friends wedding dress since they kept screwing that up too.
Great service.
Yesterday I accompanied my daughter to an appointment with Tracey. As a bridesmaid she discovered her dress was too tight and as my daughter lives in Leeds she was anxious to get a dress to fit. Tracey was marvellous throughout, very understanding and she found the same dress (different colour) in a size that fitted. Tracey ordered the dress in the original colour and arranged an appointment for any alterations to be made. Everything was done in a calm, relaxed way which greatly helped my daughter feel more confident. Thank you so much Tracey great service!
Definitely not customer focused
I wish there had a bigger selection for my size range. The sales assistant tried her best but a lot of the dresses online are not in the store. When I found a dress and suggested some changes the sales assistant said those changes ould be addressed with alterations.
So I ordered extra material to make the alterations and the website said 2-3 weeks for delivery. When I checked with their "text only customer service", I was informed that the material would not shipped for 9-10 weeks.
When I had my appointment for alterations, I was told those alterations could not be made because it would change the dress design.
To top it off the alterations were 1 1/2 times the cost of the dress. Had I known how pricey the alterations would be I would have gone elsewhere and had all of the alterations made that I wanted.
Wow, wow wow!!
I dont normally write reviews but I felt that I have to gush about how amazing the Birmingham (UK) store is and the service. The staff are lovely and so helpful, and the alterations team are absolute stars. I had a first class experience from start to finished and not only are the dresses beautiful (I bought the first one I tried on) they are also super-affordable. I may go back for another one and turn it into a party dress.
