I paid for 3-Day Air shipping, but UPS rescheduled my delivery for after that timeframe. When I reached out to Lady Black Tie, I received a generic response from an unnamed support person stating that shipping fees are non-refundable and to “contact UPS.”
I explained that under normal circumstances, I’d understand — but I paid for a service I did not receive. They completely ignored my follow-up message.
Thankfully, UPS ended up coming through for me, but I will never order from Lady Black Tie again. So many other retailers carry the same dresses, and customer service matters. Don’t risk dealing with a company that refuses to stand behind their service or even respond properly to customers.
Stores like this are exactly why shopping experiences aren’t what they used to be. If this is how they run their business, they won’t last long — and honestly, they shouldn’t.
I bought a dress for a garden wedding. When i asked the girl at the desk about the return policy she said in 14 days. That day I asked my friend if she knew what colorthe brides maids were wearing, she made a call and turns out it was the same color as the dress i just bought. I sent the dress back because of there limited hour and before the 14 days. I emailed to make sure they received it within the time limit they did. The woman said just because you changed your mind you cannot get a refund. I DID NOT CHANGE MY MIND! Why would I wear the same color as the bridesmaid dresses! Would you?? I highly doubt it, and this is the worse policy I have ever heard of for an America company. They should not be in buisness and should learn how to teach there staff about these unheard store policys ripping off the public like that, thats disgusting! What a waste of money, the the woman proceeded to say, you have two weeks to pick it up or we will give it to charity. I could not believe it! I would not recommend buying anything from there store, they will rip you off. I am now stuck with a 100 less in my pocket.

I purchased my daughter’s prom dress from here but when the dress arrived it didn’t fit. Of course they have a store credit policy only so I’m just out of $200. Please be careful and read the fine print had I know I would’ve never ever bought a dress from this place.

Their customer service was truly exceptional! They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs during a particularly stressful time as my deadline loomed closer. The accuracy of their sizing was impeccable, making shopping with them a definite 110% recommendation from me.
I retuned the dress and no credit and there is no way to get a hold of them ! The dress almost cost $100! Don’t trust them !

We were greeted by a knowledgeable staff. They explained the procedure of picking 4 dresses and going directly to the fitting room. It was so easy. There were two of us shopping together and as we finished with a dress we hung it outside the room and got new ones. The process was so easy. We each got ourselves the perfect prom dress. I could not have been happier. My suggestion to anyone thinking about shopping at this amazing store: Go early! You will want to try on so many dresses to get just the perfect dress. I am 6 ft tall and I found a dress long enough. My friend is much shorter but needs a dress with a fuller bust, she found the perfect dress. It really was a great experience! Thank you Lady Black Tie.

JUST WHEN I THOUGHT CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS A THING IF THE PAST... I experienced the Lady Black Tie excellence!
My daughter had tried on several prom dresses in multiple stores, and we were sure of the size. She decided on a dress from the Lady Black Tie website. When she tried it on, it was definitely the most beautiful, but was too small. I shipped the dress back, thinking it was going to take several days to get the exchange. I was nervous because her prom is in a couple of weeks, so I sent an email to inform LBT.  To my surprise, LBT responded the same day I shipped the item and had the replacement in the mail the very next day! I will definitely continue to shop here. Their level of service is PRICELESS!

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received regarding order
I mistakenly placed the order and promptly realized my error. I immediately sent an email before confirmation, requesting that the shipment not proceed. Unfortunately, I did not receive any response. In an attempt to rectify the situation, I returned the package, and DHL has confirmed its successful delivery to Lady Black Tie.
Despite numerous attempts to contact you via phone and email over the past month, I have not received any response or acknowledgment. This lack of communication is both frustrating and unacceptable. I would appreciate prompt attention to this matter and a resolution to the issue.

I placed an order by accident (more items were in bag than intended). I reached out to company IMMEDIATELY through email as they did not answer their phone as it was Sunday. Monday at 9:00 I receive an email saying the items shipped out already which is a RIDICULOUS response as it wasn’t even placed until Sunday afternoon and there was no way that a UPS pickup could’ve been scheduled so quick. When I asked for a manager’s contact information to speak to on the matter, the email stopped responding.
This is TERRIBLE customer service and so disappointing. Tried calling multiple times to speak to someone and no one. Again, I understand policy but I reached out immediately to correct the issue.
EDIT: Nowhere did it say you cannot cancel or modify your order according to your policies. For my email, I asked to speak with a manager and did not get any response. I called and the message says to email or call back during business hours. I called back during business hours and still no response.

The speed of shipping and exchange processing is outstanding. Nice choices of dresses, but they need to design the slits to be about 4 inches lower on the leg of most of their dresses. They would sell twice as much if they did this.

This place is a scam. Do not order from here. They do not answer the phone and emails get sent back. I have not received the dress that I ordered almost a week ago. They send their clothes by USPS which is questionable. Now I have to take this further and get my money back or file a suit
