As to a certain Burlington

As to a certain Burlington, without naming any, id Like to put a rather Ungrateful kid on notice and say when your Loving Mother who's always loved and always cared for you souly, Dies! after such a long battle with cancer and you never see her because that's what you choose, You will be living with so much pain later on internally when you snap out of whatever brewhaha you've engaged yourself in that it will hurt very badly. I certainly don't recommend it . You can feel good about yourself now and later by making the right decision.

Always dirty and tumbled up

Always dirty and tumbled up. More merchandise on the floor than on the shelves. Overall attitude from employees is that they don't want to be there and just don't care.

Burlington misleading customers by saying security is protecting people that are coming in the store!!!!

On 8/13/2025 at 6:04 PM. The Burlington in Grand Prairie, TX 75025. Each and every time I walk into Burlington; the security has the store roped off and on my entrance he or she says to the fact that they are trying to keep the customers safe so that is why they are letting customers in after this spill. I was telling the security guard ℹ didn’t want to hear his spill; because he wasn’t there to protect the customers! I asked to speak to the manager Shaquan !! The security wanted to say why do I need to see the manager. He was just doing his job. If he really was there to protect; I would not have a problem with it. The manager said that the security was supposed to say this to all the customers!! I told her he didn’t say that to a younger white couple. I was wondering was that age discrimination. Instead of her taking security to the side she told him in front of me and the other customers; he is supposed to say that to all the customers. That was poor management you do not correct someone in front of people ! I explained to the manager that if anything broke out in the store the security guard would not be available to help me or anyone else in the store. I told Shaquan you I both know that he would not be able to serve and protect because he is security. This statement they have security saying is misleading.

I spoke with customer service rep. Diana! 8/14/25 10:40 AM. I explained my complaint. Diana said something to the effect that a person 🧍 might not be dressed inappropriately or in other words look like a suspect!!! This is type casting criminals !!! It sounds like discriminatory treatment to me. Criminal come in all colors!! They look different ways !!! I see why they have low reviews they don’t care about customer service.

Disappointing Shopping Experience at…

Disappointing Shopping Experience at Burlington - Lacking Sizes and Damaged Goods
My recent trip to several Burlington Coat in Chicago. I was incredibly frustrating and left me feeling very dissatisfied. I went in hoping to find some t-shirts and a pair of size 11 shoes, but encountered significant issues with both product availability and quality.
Firstly, the selection of t-shirts was extremely limited, particularly when it came to sizes. I ended up having to settle for a size I didn't want simply because my preferred size was nowhere to be found. This immediately diminishes the shopping experience, forcing customers to compromise rather than find what they truly need.
To make matters worse, one of the t-shirt packages I purchased was clearly tampered with. It was an open package, and upon closer inspection, it was evident that someone had attempted to steal from it, leaving a noticeable dye stain. This is completely unacceptable. As a customer, I expect to purchase new, undamaged merchandise, and having to return an item due to prior theft attempts and damage is a major inconvenience.
The shoe department was equally disappointing. Despite actively searching, I couldn't find a single pair of size 11 shoes on the shelves. For a store of Burlington's size, it's surprising and frustrating to find such a complete lack of a common shoe size.
Overall, my recent visit to Burlington was a waste of time and effort. The severe lack of available sizes across different product categories, coupled with the issue of damaged and tampered merchandise, made for a very poor shopping experience. I hope Burlington can address these issues to ensure a better experience for future customers. They need new buyers, because their clearly not doing a great job.

Cashier worker (Leyla) had a NASTY attitude on 4/27/25 at 4:51pm. As I (customer) was leaving the register, worker Through a HUGE CANDLE at my head! None of the managers or workers came to assist with what happened. I have a big knot in the back of my head and severe headache. The whole Burlington staff was 0% helpful! Nobody helped, only attended to their worker. When A glass big candle was thrown and cracked at my head!

Poor costumer service

While waiting in the Line on March 13, 2025 at 2:25 pm. At the East main street location. The manager felt it was best to pull my cart to the side and call people who only had 2 or 3 items ahead of me. Had I been asked I probably wouldn't have minded. When I asked her why she was calling people a head of me, She stated, "she needs to get her line down". After waiting in line for 15 minutes and to be what I thought was next in line. Just to be completely disrespected. I just walked out, leaving my $300 cart sitting there. Not only did this business lose money but now you have to put it all away. I get what she thought she was doing, but she obviously is not well versed in business. I do most of my shopping online and today was just a reminder to keep it that way. People suck!

Was very excited when I saw advertising about Burlington Factory coming to Warner Robins. Excitedly visited store after its opening and was terribly shocked! It was like a deserted bldg filled with junk! Never went back! Nothing like the one yrs ago...clean, neat, great variety and even better prices!

Hey y’all so trying to get hired at…

Hey y’all so trying to get hired at Burlington was a disgrace:
Fontana, California period seems like all the employees in the store aren’t black ones .
Just had a second interview with Burlington and was denied again. I didn’t know you have to to have a college degree to work in the back room or to display items on a shelf they are full of shit but as I look around I noticed no one that works in the store looks like me a black woman. I am very shocked considering the amount of purchases I’ve made here over the years. But mind you , you have people ( Mexicans ) that are 400 pounds that can’t barely walk without huffing and puffing working here? 🤔 . Mind blowing These episodes of rejection from this store has left me angry but the more I read the complaints in the comments I’m starting to realize it was a blessing in disguise.

Trashy, ghetto service

The rude and ghetto cashier disrespected me on 01/15/2025 in Atlanta, GA on Carmia in Camp Creek Marketplace for no reason, he blamed it on him not being from here.

He told me they were doing purchase/returns differently, although I was confused, I tried to do it his way. I am unwell right now & forgot to put the purchase (a top) on the counter first. I even apologized to him for being sick & absent-minded 🤦🏾‍♀️ had laughed with him & everything at 1st. I was pleasant. Had no clue he'd flip his demeanor so quickly and try to humiliate me.

He seemed to get angry because he started mumbling under his breath rude comments before anything escalated. Other customers may not have heard that part. Mind you I was patient w/ the fact he didn't even have enough money in his register to give me a full refund. I told him it was ok.

He gets disrespectful/aggressive & tells me he can't scan one item, I told him I never heard a clothing store tell a customer they can't sell a piece of clothing. His tone gets nasty & he eventually raises his voice. I told him I felt he was speaking to me disrespectfully. He gaslit me & told me he wasnt. Said "Well I'm not from here!" in a audacious way.
This was a rude excuse to me as well instead of a genuine apology/resolution.

It escalated because I reminded him I was not feeling well & no longer wanted to talk to him & wanted a manager to complain about his behavior. He's the one who offered me to speak to the manager a few minutes before. When I actually asked for one he proceeded to tell me to "get out of his line" YELLING with aggressive hand gestures & continued to do a 🗣 back & forth all because I wanted to report his nasty attitude.

I'm too sick to keep trying to interact with you yet you want to force me to. Just weird.

He tried to appear as some innocent worker to a growing line of customers who weren't there the entire time when he had no interest in deescalating the situation. He refused to sit my money on the counter so I could grab it, he was so weird, wanting to put on a show for customers. You start something, you're surprised I speak up then to continue to try to get a reaction, gaslight me & yell, sticking my refund in my face 😒

And although he thought he would avoid accountability by continuing to talk mess AS I'm walking away, thinking telling me to get out would be the end of it. I got in my car & I called corporate.

Sure did.

If you wanted peace & harmony why continue to talk mess as I'm leaving 🤔
If you're so innocent.

I tried to be nice to him but he just kept pushing it. Bm, very skinny, afro with some gray hair or dye, wearing shades indoors with a walkie talkie, jeans, green shirt.
He was respectful with all of the MEN though (he was checking them out when they walked away too). I was in line for AWHILE. So I guess you have to be a 6'0 guy with muscles to get friendly service 🥲

Was stuck in bed all day sick & forced myself to leave the house for this to happen. Sad part is none of this would've happened, no one would've been huffing/puffing behind me even if I wasn't a woman....and alone. No one had any reaction to his behavior. I had every right to want to report him & be upset. 🙄 Yall maybe use to being talked to like that or treating people like that, I'M NOT.

I had plans and just wanted to get my money on the counter without touching him and make my report to the manager. HE was holding up his own line trying to force me to grab it and refusing my request.

Can't even leave your house alone to buy a top without it ruining your whole mood and day. And I blame myself, usually don't do returns on that side of town and should've walked out when he got the first attitude with me.

😳 Literally saw other reviews where WOMEN sat in their car to write it just like me & from the looks of it he's disrespected other women when they ask for a manager & gets nasty with them!! I knew this was not his first time!!! He keeps disrespecting female shoppers!!!
😳
I believe his name is DAVID. That's what the receipt said. This isn't the job for you if you dont have the proper social skills 😒
*Update: speaking to corporate the woman was so compassionate & actually cared, I almost cried on the phone. No one cares when ppl disrespect bw unprovoked, just judges her for disliking
it. When someone shows some empathy it really hits you how ppl expect you just take it. Stuff like this is depressing like why me, that night i could barely sleep, canceled all of my plans. Can't even fake a smile at work. My soul is tired.
Thank you for actually caring 🙏

Bad employment bad general management

For everyone whom may concern
Don’t go to work in the Burlington. My wife was fired because she shopped too much( not in her work hours) that’s what they said that is the new policy for workers. They have a worker card if you spend over the limit than they questioning you about the purchase and saying it’s all good and than after couple of weeks they fire you. The company who struggles to keep good workers. The company who has a other policy that you not allowed to question costumers at the checkout even if you know that they stole something, you have to let them walk( interesting policy)
The biggest BS company of the US
If the company doesn’t protect their workers in any way they didn’t deserve to be in the business
Interesting policy: if you pay for your purchase ( like my wife) then you getting in a trouble but if you steal that’s ok and they welcome you back
So go and steal as much as you can, they ok with it

Spotify Ads

I've never even heard of this store outside of Spotify ads. I've never heard anyone talk about it, and I'm honestly just pissed that I can't listen to my music without 20 ads for this store interrupting every song. Granted, this is Spotify's fault, but it's only been this one store and I'm pissed.

Burlington Now a Hitlerian Concentration Camp

I used to shop there in Arlington Virginia store until they started blocking/detaining us as soon as we walk into the store to stand in front of us and give us a speech. It is so like Hitler it is completely a violation of freedom. I refuse to ever shop there again. It is already a stoop down and then to feel humiliated like a 3rd world country. Sick. Next they are going to start patting you down like TSA and body scanning you as soon as you walk in.

Time is money!!

Love the merchandise love the store however you get a review from us every 6 months and one thing that is unchanging whether it's slow or busy you guys can't get customers out the door fast enough leading to walk outs and competitors benefit from it, rules are not made to be broken but they can be improved, this is an oversight issue, if more than a 5 minute wait it should be all trained hands on deck, shopping is for the customers security and moving products is for the staff, this is not about a single store this is management oversight that is noticed in multiple outlets.

They are a smorgasbord for health, beauty, and clothing

I literally got to enjoy the whole store to myself pretty much as it was 10 o’clock on Saturday evening. The selection was still phenomenal and the prices were amazing and I absolutely couldn’t stop looking at everything. I’m in love with that store and the people who work there.
