“POOR customer service starts at the TOP”
After an exceptionally poor customer service experience in June 2025 at the Frankston Anaconda store, I was contacted by the store manager Shane who offered me a store voucher in compensation for the level of service and the inconvenience that I had experience in repeated visits whilst tying to return a faulty product. Shane enquired as to my residential address so that the relevant voucher could be sent out to me. After 3 weeks I rang the store and asked to speak to the store manager Shane, after identifying myself he chuckled over the phone and said” Aw yeah, I remember, sorry about that mate lost the bit of paper I wrote your details on. Give me your address again and I’ll send it out”.
So, now it’s the end of August still no voucher and no follow up from the store manager Shane. Very easy to see now why the staff at Anaconda have such low levels of customer service if this is the type on management that oversees the store operation. If this is the store managers reaction to poor customer service and the issuing of faulty products it is obvious that HIS customer service standards flow down through the structure of the store. As stated, “POOR customer service starts at the TOP”. Maybe all peninsula customers should head down the road to BCF and get better service, from my experience they don’t have a Shane and the flow on effect.
Order 4/5 items damaged
I ordered 5 Brumate Tumbler and bottles to give out for family and friend. Brumate was really good. The problem is the store's packaging. Shipping from Melbourne to Sydney but no foam or any other form of protection. 4 out of 5 items came damged, scratches and losing the lock. I'm really disappointed as Brumate was the best brand ever in term of insulated tumbler, bottles but the brand is doing bad in Australia just because of the third party packaging? I feel so frustrated and disappointed

Visited the store in person for the first time, and was pleasantly surprised :)
Huge range, much larger than other similar brands such as Kat*** and outstanding customer assistance from all staff, (particularly David at the Belrose NSW store). Only thing that lost the 5th star was that merchandise types were hard to search for - I wanted a type of winter pant, but they are scattered all over the store grouped by brand instead of type, and hidden on the racks behind the jackets

Giaan, from Kawana Anaconda store, is Ab Fab! When I couldn't avail the coloured puffer coat that I wanted to purchase instore, she asked me to wait whilst she investigated the matter.
Just a short moment later, she appeared with every detail written down, and directions as to how I could purchase the right item, online. It was no trouble at all, and I was extremely pleased with the timeliness in which it arrived, and the product itself.

Anaconda customer no care
I purchased a rod through Anaconda. They use a cheap courier in Armex, and they promised it would be delivered on Thursday, the 29th of May. A week later, I've seen nothing. After contacting Anaconda customer no care I just get emails saying it will be delivered soon I've now asked for a refund, but I'm certain that will fall on deaf ears IMO KEEP AWAY FROM ANACONDA IF possible

I recently returned goods bought on-line with Anaconda.
The goods were poor quality, did not fit, and were a poor colour match with the items on the website.
Getting a return shipping label was not an easy and quick process.
I received shipping tracking information from Australia Post that my returns had been delivered back to Anaconda.
Anaconda would have received the same tracking information from Australia Post as I had been given.
I wrote to Anaconda customer support through their web contact page to inquire as to when I would get my refund.
In the email exchanges which followed Anaconda lied to me by saying that their records indicated that the goods were still in transit, and that I would get my refund when the returns had been delivered.
I felt that Anaconda were being very evasive and were either trying to delay giving me a refund or avoiding it completely.
I contacted Australia Post for customer support. Australia Post told that my return had been signed for on delivery and that the two drivers who had delivered my returns could remember the delivery to Anaconda.
I opened a PAYPAL Dispute Claim and won the case.
Anaconda has now paid me a refund, only because of the PAYPAL Dispute Claim.

I will never shop with Anaconda again. I cannot trust them to behave in an honest way with customers.

Ive spent thousands of dollars at this store only to be treated like an idiot when my 138ah deep cycle battery shit itself little over 12 months later. I contacted Anaconda Maroochydore because it came with a 24 month warranty. The run around these guys gave me was nothing short or ridiculous. The only thing they havent asked me so far is a DNA sample.
Name, address, club membershio number, receipt, store of purchase, person who served me, date of purchase, phone number, email address, ..... They are trained to frustrate you into giving up. My advice is steer clear of them, especially the Kings product line. When they fail, and they will, you'll get the royal run around trying to get them to honour their warranties.

should be zero stars. Purchased a sleeping bag online. Had positive reviews on their own website, rated to 2 degrees. However using it, could not stand up to even 10 degrees. I am following up with Consumer Affairs. I posted a negative review on their product website, however this was removed. IE I regret trusting their website reviews.
Also purchased a microfibre towel in the same order, terrible quality and requested to return. Customer service was lousy for the return process and took numerous emails with slow responses.

Store Policy Wrong…
I purchased a 75 litre fridge freezer and asked if someone could take to my car and help me get it into car. Was told store policy is he could push trolley to my car but could not put into car in case he damaged car. I have worked retail all my life. He was going to let a 62 year old woman do it herself. He of course offered to push the trolley again and I told him not to bother as I could do THAT myself and said perhaps there will be a nice customer out there who will help me. Where is the customer service no matter what the big bosses in the big office tell them they can’t do . Not happy at all.

Bad customer service. I am trying to get a return label to return a product which is way smaller than what the size chart on their website says. They claim you have 28 days change of mind, but looks like only if you can return it to their shop. No answer so far to many emails and no hotline to call or real online chat.

Refused a refund on a product I was entitled to according to Australian consumer law. Never shopping here again just got to BCF or Bunnings or anywhere else that actually treats customers with respect. Don't understand their business model, miss out on thousands of dollars of purchases over a lifetime because you wouldn't refund a $99 product that clearly failed.
Warning: Anaconda Online Store
I placed two online orders and paid $14.99 extra for each order for express postage (advertised at delivered in 1-4 business days) When the items arrived 5 & 7 days after the order, I requested reimbursement of the express delivery fee, which was clearly not fulfilled as advertised. To my surprise, Anaconda has so far refused to reimburse the express fee, making all sorts of excuses. I can only warn customers not to purchase from these guys - or certainly not pay for express freight. Extremely disappointed by the service, poor communication and lack of accountability. Many of the packages are also poorly packed and arrived damaged.
