Go see real people and products - much better than online

Visited the store in person for the first time, and was pleasantly surprised :)
Huge range, much larger than other similar brands such as Kat*** and outstanding customer assistance from all staff, (particularly David at the Belrose NSW store). Only thing that lost the 5th star was that merchandise types were hard to search for - I wanted a type of winter pant, but they are scattered all over the store grouped by brand instead of type, and hidden on the racks behind the jackets

Floor staff wonderful - management appalling

The longer I deal with Spotlight, the more disappointed I am.
The one star is for the floor staff who are friendly and helpful, the range is fairly good, but everything else is a nightmare.
Catalogue items are difficult to find or missing altogether, and pricing is a mess - prices are often not on the product, and shelf prices incorrect or not displayed at all.
Recently, I shopped for artificial plants for my daughter at the Mt Druitt store. Types and sizes were scattered throughout the area, with no consistency of size,or type, making it very difficult to compare. I found one she liked, but couldn't find a price - two possible tags on the shelf were quite different. I had to walk to the far end of the large store to find a price check scanner that was working, and the price scanned was reasonable. However, at the register, it scanned at almost double the price. Worst of all, when I asked to speak to the manager to discuss the pricing issues, the cashier came back and said "The manager doesn't want to talk to you" !!!
At my local Castle Hill store, my elderly mum (a common customer demographic in Spotlight) found it almost impossible to find a trolley, then couldn't use it because it was locked with the Aldi coin system. This store is a stand alone store with it's own parking area - no one would be taking trolleys away. When I tried to talk with the manager about this, his response was basically "Don't care, not my problem" and the body language and tone was "Bugger off and stop bothering me".
I will now go out of my way to source products anywhere but Spotlight - they are a last resort only.

Service/quality/value/cleanliness all going downhill

* Kiosk did not print order / receipt
* Consistently NO staff in sight of counter to assist customers
* Customers in store clearly lower priority than McDelivery orders and drive through
* Stale lukewarm fries
* Lukewarm "HOT" apple pie - when asked to change for a fresh one, second one given was just as cold (I think he went around the corner, came back and gave the same one back to me)
* Bins full to overflowing
* Tables not cleaned

Review of Sendle

Wish we could give zero stars

Waited 6 business days for a parcel to be picked up despite frequent requests to Sendle support. (Pickup Guarantee states "if for some reason the driver doesn't make it after 2 days, we will send a dedicated pickup driver, at our expense, to make sure that the parcel is on its way"). Told order cancelled by Sendle because of "no access to collect parcel". This is completely false. Property was never unattended, with full access at all times (see pics) - both other homes on 4 m wide shared driveway have parking for 3 and 7 cars respectively off the driveway (and one family was overseas), our property has no gate, and only one vehicle parked in a 7 vehicle courtyard. Other couriers attend the property frequently, up to and including 4 tonne trucks. Then told Sendle have no dedicated driver for my area (I live in middle of metropolitan Sydney!!)
