My wife and I booked 3 flights from Tunis to Tozeur, then they moved the flight times more than 3 hours later into the evening which meant we would have arrived in Tozeur after midnight which was unacceptable to us as we would have my elderly mother-in-law with us. After talking to a Tunisair customer service agent in London we cancelled and requested a refund through the email address we was given by the agent, this was 3 months ago and still have had no reply. Also on the same trip we booked a Tunisair flight from Tunis to Malta so we could spend our last 3 nights there and they changed the flight dates to the next day reducing our trip to 2 nights. In the 30 years I have been travelling I have never experienced such poor customer service and lack of respect for there customers.
Quite poor experience in short-haul business
We flew GVA-TUN and return, in business class, with our 2-month old baby. The flights were 30-55 min late, which we believe is acceptable. The seats were OK for a short haul flight, the food was poor to below average but the personnel was quite friendly! For the return the boarding was very chaotic with no priority system which we found unacceptable. We had to force through everyone with our baby. Tunis Airport is a nightmare from start to finish but that’s not really Tunisair’s fault.
Overall quite poor experience, and we would not take this company if there were other choices for these routes (Nouvelair is the same). This time the personnel’s professionalism and friendliness saved the day.
Awful experience
Awful experience. Flight delayed for 5,5 hours. None from company representatives in airport was able to provide any kind of assistance. No meal, no drinks offered, no one did bother to arrange any meal vouchers. Compensation claim on their web-page remains unanswered for more than 3 month. Total ignorance, absolute nightmare.
Tunisair - a Mix of feelings
Tunisair, land personnel, A DISGRACE, except the nice lady on service, this morning, in Djerba, at the main company balcon, a gentleman this morning and a super nice young girl at the boarding área, at 12.30h. The old man at the company balcon, rude, not attentious, completely shitting himself for clients.

After you pass all this, once you get on the plane, all gets pretty normal/ good. Nice seats, space, personnel, food... Just the cleaning aspect needs attention.

Very disappointing experience at tunis Carthage Airport
had a very disappointing experience at Tunis–Carthage Airport. My ticket clearly stated that I could bring an 8kg cabin bag, but just before boarding the crew suddenly told me I couldn’t take it with me on the plane. They took the bag away at the gate, and when I got back to my hotel, I discovered that some of my personal belongings were missing, including important medicine.
This was extremely stressful and unacceptable. Medicines are essential and should never be tampered with. The lack of clear communication about luggage rules, combined with the missing items from my bag, made this a very unpleasant experience. I strongly hope the airport and airline improve their procedures, as passengers deserve to feel safe and respected when traveling.

The plane was very dirty, had to ask for blankets for the seats.
The carpets, trays was all dirty, and also not hoovered.
Meal was provided from London to tunis. Very poor quality chicken and couscous.

Too bad I cannot give minus ratings! Four hours delay ( and counting) , no information whether at the airport in Tunis nor from any person working for Tunisair. It is obviously managed by incompetent baffoons. Luckily due to the strike ( no plan B ?) we are not obliged to endure the ill-mannered and impolite Tunesien crew. What an experience….

Unreasonable delay
My flight was to take off in Brussels at 12:25 pm. But we finally took off at 2:45 pm. We landed in Tunis at 4pm.
The connecting flight that was supposed to take off at 5:10 pm was rescheduled for 00:30 the next day without any communication from the staff. We found out on the screen. Well, that was my first and last trip with them. Never again 😥😥😥

I wish I could’ve given zero stars as I’ve had the most dreadful experience with this airline. Two flights in one week and both were delayed by just under 3 hours. Very bad customer service, no explanation about the delays whatsoever. I will never use this airline again.
Terrible service, worse delays
30 minutes before take off the plane was delayed 2 hours with announcement, email, or text. They didn’t open security until 10 minutes before our new departure time. Then we sat in another waiting room for another 45 minutes. All of this without air conditioning, and when staff we asked questions they would literally wave customers away. Currently still not on a plane (one hour flight) that was supposed to leave 3 hours ago.

My wife and I booked flights from Barcelona to Tunis on Tunisair, paying for business class seats. We flew in from Mallorca with an hour and a half before the flight. By the time we received our baggage from this arriving flight and made our way to check in it was 15:03, with the flight departing at 16:00. The check in desks were abandoned.
After enlisting the help of Airport Information, they checked that the desks were supposed to be manned until 15:30 and gave me a contact number for Tunisair, which I rang. I was told by the customer 'service' representative that check in closes 1 hour before the flight, and there was nothing they could do. They offered to change the flight to the next available, 3 days later, but this was when we were supposed to depart from Tunisia to Sicily, so that was no use. I pleaded with him to have one of their staff process our luggage, as we'd already checked in online, but he stubbornly refused and ended up hanging up on me. All for the fact that we were 3 minutes too late checking in for a flight that was leaving in just under an hour. This was particularly annoying given we'd paid a premium for business class, which with any other worthwhile airline gives you access to better service.
This attitude by Tunisair meant we had to cancel our hotel, pre-booked taxis, an expensive chauffeured tour to out-of-town historic centres, cancelling ongoing airline trips out of Tunis, new airline bookings, new hotel accommodation, and major changes to travel plans.
Not impressed, Tunisair. You don't deserve to be in business, and I caution anyone from even thinking about travelling with them.

To the customer services lady i have spoken to at 1210H today May 6,2025 on number 02030568998 you are extremely rude. Even hang up the phone. Called again and a guy answered with a better information on my issue. The lady insisted me to email and no phone to call at all but the guy gave me a phone number to ring. Tunisair cancelled our paid seats so obviously asking them why it was cancelled. Emailed them last May 2, until now May 6 no reply. That's why i'm calling them. Obviously we want to be seated together thats why we paid.
