Mixed Experience

A good website to find deals, but not the best in certain aspects. If you initiate a booking and change your mind before making a payment, it will continue to send you emails prompting payment, and there is no option to cancel! Additionally, when booking a date and going through the process, it often displays an incorrect date, typically a month or two later. Unfortunately, there is no way to rectify this. This is what happened to me, and now that I've halted the process just before payment, I'm receiving numerous emails urging me to "complete" a booking with the wrong date. Sigh!

How annoying to hear that booking was not successful straight away.
If you accidentally make a booking, payment reminders will indeed be sent automatically. You can contact our customer service to cancel the booking free of charge. If you do not make payment, the booking will be automatically canceled after 24 hours.
We understand that it is annoying when the date changes during booking. Unfortunately, we do not have an immediate explanation for this and we will have this checked.

If you are unable to make a booking immediately, we ask you to contact our customer service via 088 033 1528. We can then support you or make the booking for you.

Terrible service !!

Terrible service !!! Booked 2 rooms for 3 kids and 2 adults. I had to do this because 4 (beds) was the maximum for a family room. All by all when we arrived in the evening the hotel was overbooked and we had to go to another hotel… where they only had 4 beds and 4 blankets. So i paid for extra room to get 5 beds but ended in a hotel with for beds that I didn’t book. Things can happen but than I expect a compensation from Traveldeal…
The only thing they come up with is an upgrade for the next time I book that same hotel that was overbooked!!!
Terrible service and terrible aftersales.

The hotel where you were staying had a leak. For this reason you unexpectedly had to go to another hotel. The hotel has done its best to book you into an equivalent alternative.
As these were unexpected circumstances for the hotel, they will not offer any further compensation. We have also indicated this to you.

I am extremely disappointed with…

I am extremely disappointed with Traveldeal. Ref: BU1074969. We booked something in October '22 for December '22. However we had to change the date and they helped us to change it to 12 May 2023 with an additional fee for changing the date. Two weeks before the holiday I started asking them if they can confirm that the hotel in Luxenburg has our booking. They kept saying they are waiting for the hotel to confirm. I also called directly to the hotel and they didn't have our booking. June '23: Atleast I can say that they finally paid back my booking. Thank you.

However, the hotel needed to receive a new reservation. We were not aware of this and assumed that your booking had been changed internally at the hotel. We have done our best to put the booking on the correct date. This unfortunately without success. We are currently still in contact with you about further solutions. Not reachable by phone. They will disconnect you.

Extremely bad service. You will not be able to reach them by phone. I don't care if I have to wait a half day, but do not bloody hang up the phone (multiple times). First and last time to use traveldeal. What a headache!

Never again! We booked a cruise and we cancelled because their description was wrong... Now they required a lot of money to us, cannot be real!

If you want a holiday pay attention and find another company!

Watch out for additional costs Ryanair!

Traveldeal cooperates with the terrible RyanAir and if you travel with this horrifying RyanAir, watch out for additional costs for checking in at the airport. For 4 persons we needed to pay €220 extra just for printing a boarding pass. We were not informed by Traveldeal about these extra costs, we didn’t know and our attempts to check in about 2 hours for the flight failed, but Traveldeal does not feel any responsibility to compensate (Booking nr BU1015004)

I see that there has been extensive contact via e-mail. As mentioned in there - in our Terms and Conditions we mention that when transport is included the Terms and Conditions of the transport company are applicable. In this case the Terms and Conditions of Ryanair.
Nevertheless, we have compensated you for 50% of the costs (110 euro), which has been refunded to you in cash.

Good hotel, lovely breakfast!

The hotel was beautiful but less spacious than we thought, the room in ditto. The breakfast buffet was amazing (a lot of choices) and the roomservice was great. The staff mostly speaks French but they try their best to communicate properly, their service was really good. We do recommend this hotel!

No contact possible

No contact possible. Chat is "not available", Telephone number beebs 3 times and then remains absolutely silent for at least 6 minutes after which I ended the call. Mail option sticks on the screen with no possibility to reach the "send"button.
