Website Builder for All Skill Levels
TemplateToaster website builder has transformed how I design websites. This website maker is incredibly intuitive, even for someone without coding experience. I can create a website and theme for WordPress, Magento, and more within minutes. The drag-and-drop interface is user-friendly, and the flexibility in customization is impressive. I also love that it supports multiple CMS platforms, making it a versatile tool for web designing. I highly recommend TemplateToaster to anyone looking to build stunning websites without hassle. Excellent customer support as well.
Good Option for OpenCart Theme Dev
I am using Templatetoaster for creating OpenCart themes as there is no other option for that. It is a bit of oldish UI that is very similar to MS Word, but solved my purpose.
Basically I am an Opencart developer and mainly work on themes development and it solved my purpose.
Great app for exporting raw templates…
Great app for exporting raw templates in the format you require my fav is 'Start from Scratch, as I like to create my layout, Kudos. Defintely, requires some (after it's exported) programming skills due to format limitations, novice-to-expert website developers will love the simplicity/speed. My only gripes are webhosts never like the PHP version (please update your SW- 1+ year no real updates). Yup, most software devs are lazy- if it aint broke etc, you either had this built (no further interest) or just waiting till it becomes redudant/rejected to invest again..welcome to buzz me!
I used TemplateToaster for creating Drupal 9 Theme
I used TemplateToaster for creating Drupal 9 theme and it worked fine. As there is no option to create your custom Drupal theme thee days so I used it for me site. Not perfect but good.

Downloaded the free version and seemed easy to use - until something went wrong. No support - cannot even register for support. When I downloaded I was sent an email by someone who said they would provide support, but they never answer emails.
I wondered if it would be better if I paid, but reading these reviews glad I did not bother.
Terrible waste of money...! they laugh all the way to the Bank...!
Terrible, waste of money...! they laugh all the way to the Bank...!
Supporters who just say that it is not supported, "but we will of course include it in our to do list" ???
You just get a long nose if you buy this amateur product! Keep out
DON'T WASTE MONEY "SCAM"
DON'T WASTE MONEY
For me, this sh.t software doesn't even worth 1 star I rated if I could remove it I would. I purchased this Templatetoaster one year, and once I used it, it started with errors. I tried to contact customer service chat, but they don't give a sh.t. it always says the staff are busy. When I choose a template it says this template is not supported by this version. I renewed the version paying 66.00 Dollars but still the same. I can say this is a scam team.
Does NOT Work For Joomla 4
throughout the description they acted as though you could use templatetoaster for joomla 4. and maybe it's possible but there are no directions and ever time i tried i failed. i'm pretty sure teplatetoaster 8 does NOT support joomla 4. but you wouldn't know that until after you've spent money on it.
Do Not Buy This Product.
I have purchased two PRO versions of TT (version 6 and version 8). I thought version 8 would fix version 6 problems But not a chance. Total waste of money (twice). It is definitely not WYSIWYG. Preview looks good, but after uploading the files, your formatting, fonts and images are a mess. You will spend hours trying to do work arounds to try get the web pages you desire. But you will fail. Customer service is only pretend. Chat box closes without answering your question. Support tickets not answered. And you know what - I have an IT degree, so I'm not silly. But I was totally stupid buying this product.
Do not buy this software
Don't be fooled. This is not simple to use, and the mobile version of whatever you create will look terrible. I guess they expect you to be a programmer. I thought this would be easy, like Wix. Ha! Don't waste your money.
Stay away
Stay away
The product is not at all wysiwyg
but it totally wysiwyng, n for never.
The documentation is peanuts, and irrelevant with CMS you use. You have to guess what to do.
And exporting a template is long so long near 45 seconds.
If you whant to do test and try in a blind search you waist your time.
Now if you set up a support ticket, it is worse, first answer comes several days later and is inconsistant with your request.
So you need severals exchanges before beginning of real exchange...and proposed fix... that often do not work.
So really stay away
TemplateToaster is awsome! Please read my review!
So I have been working with this software a few days and it is awesome! I'm not sure why the negative reviews other than they don't understand web design software. By the way, I AM NOT PAID BY THESE PEOPLE. I don't even know who they are. So back story: in 2009 I discovered web design software known as Artisteer. It allowed you to make templates for Wordpress, Joomla, Blogger, and HTML. I constantly used it to build websites when the client needed a custom design. My company made somewhere between 70-90K from custom themes over the next few years until 2014 or 2015 when Artisteer went out of business. After they went under, I have searched for software like that for years until I finally stumbled across TemplateToaster. First thing I noticed is it has a similar look and feel to Artisteer. Some things are different like TemplateToaster does have a universal color chooser like Artisteer, and it offers more features and it could easily be considered next-gen Artisteer software. I have personally found it to be amazing, and anyone who enjoyed Artisteer will love this software! My favorite theme that TemplateToaster has is "Real Steel". You could easily use this single theme, change the colors and elements, and never have a complaint from a client. My experience? I have been a web designer over 15 years, designed my own themes by hand, and have built hundreds of websites, and now I have my own agency. Before falling in the "trap" with these bad reviews, I would at least download and check out trial version. For the Artisteer fans out there, I am officially letting you know that this is what you have been looking for. Best money I have spent all year!!!
Free doesn't work, Standard has no FTP and No Refunds
The main issue is the pricing and the levels.
FREE Version doesn't allow you to publish to the web. As a website builder that's as much use as having a free car that cannot be used on the road.
The Standard licence is better - but you cannot edit the links on your logos / photos etc. That's not ideal. That may not be a problem though as you are still unable to use FTP (seriously!) I am sure there is a way to upload somehow but if your hosting option is FTP - forget the Standard Version too - it won't work.
It *might* be a decent package on the "Pro" if you want to risk $149 - but the Free is completely useless and the "Standard" licence is no good unless you don't want to edit links in photos / logos and consider being able to upload with FTP to be an unnecessary extravagance.
A pity, this might be quite good - but as it is, you cannot (properly) test it unless you buy the PRO licence - and then if it DOESN'T work for you - that's just tough - no refunds at all.
Why they do not offer a time based or page number based full trial escapes us (eg: FREE = fully functional BUT max 2 page website and max 3 photos and max 1000 characters) That would allow for a full test of features AND allow you to upload to see how it looked on different sized screens.
As it is though, I would suggest avoiding it unless you have $149 spare and are happy with a no-refund policy.
Good for WordPress Website Building
I am using their TemplateToaster v8 from last year and found it very effective tool for creating WordPress website, however some options for plain HTML website creation need improvements.
Pros:
It is an offline website builder
No Monthly recurring payments.
Cons:
Need a bit improvements in top ribbon options.
Stay Away! I Guess paid trolls are writing 5 star reviews.
No Customer Service at all! They never sent an activation key to my email as per their instructions after one pays. After I paid, I registered and no registration confirmation was sent either, (as per their instructions). Third party payment collector offered no help other than to suggest I wait 10 days before the merchant contacts me. These are just scam artist from Norway that I will report to the FTA. Dozens of emails to the company and no response. They just stole my money.
I bought Template Toaster software to…
I bought Template Toaster software to build a website for my church and the Thrift Store connected to it.
Very disapointing, this software is not drag and drop as they say it is. Need coding knowledge that is not my cup of tea.
I tried to write forms in french as my two website are written in french and nothing goes.
About the service they gave -10 is my rate.
After you buy this software and want a refund they ignore completely this request and try to pursuade you that they did the right thing to resolve the issue.
Phoney scrap.

I purchased the pro version based on…
I purchased the pro version based on reviews. I highly suspect that someone from their company wrote the reviews. It is not drag and drop, you have to work inside specific orange boxes. It is not user friendly for the individual looking for drag and drop. When I zipped and exported the site as instructed through their tutorial video the images would not (and still do not) appear. I opened a support ticket, I understand their support is based in Singapore and was delighted to see their response the next morning asking for more information. Then crickets, nothing, no response for close to a week. When you attempt to log in, you can input the correct user and password to log in and get a "too many attempts try again in 2 hours" after just one log in attempt. This was money down the drain, washed away. Unless you know code - go elsewhere.
I'm using Template toaster for Joomla…
I'm using Template toaster for Joomla sites. It works fine to create a generic template, but the others things you have to program yourself. There are still some bugs in the program and sometimes the license is lost. Re-entering the license works but if you do that 2 times, you have to contact the helpdesk. The price is way too high for what it delivers. Luckily, the license keeps working after one year (but without updates).
Pro Version - Poor Customer Service / Extremely Limited Functionality
Pro Version User
Pathetic customer service. Ask a simple question on FB page, they take a few days to respond - and the response is on the lines of "you can contact support from the Website." There again the person takes ages to respond.
Even when I said "1* for customer service" they didn't bother to even respond and apologize!
Features not working like they should. You can't import or edit existing work once you've exported. Seriously?
UI is decent for WYSIWYG but that is all there is. No option to edit code anywhere! No flexibility. So you have to stay within the limitation of the interface. And, you know what, you have to limit yourself to the templates that they have, or create one from scratch - you can't use any other templates!!!
And, after the latest WP update things seem to have broken, at least for WP, as some of the features are not working.
Should you buy? Only if you like one of their templates and need a WYSIWYG editor to make changes to it. Otherwise this is pretty useless.
Terrible customer support
Terrible customer support. Mike Davis said he would get back to me, I emailed him several times with a simple pre sales question. Got nothing back from him or the support team. Despite them saying several times they will get back to me. Don't waste your time with these clowns.
